EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT! Food was delicious, I’m highly satisfied! I’ve been to diners that lack flavor and quality in their food which really sucks but not this one! Thank you!

One of the few remaining in the area. I was with three friends around 10:30 p.m. on a Friday night. Some had been there the night before after a show and earlier Friday before the day's performance. Staff recognized them and welcomed them back. We were all very happy with our orders. I will be back with other friends who live nearby.

We ordered breakfast this morning from you guys and this is what we got for $60, burnt food as you can see from the photo all the home fries and toast are burnt, the omelette has thick big onions and bell pepper that’s not properly cooked. The food has no taste and this is the last time I buying anything from you guys. Not professional cook what a waste of my hard earned money. Dining in and ordering online should be the same way of cooking as we are paying the same amount of money, actually ordering is more expensive as we paid delivery fee.

Stopped in here late night for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised how good the food was.
I got the caesar wrap with fries and coleslaw. Everything was tasty and was a good portion.
The service was fast and very friendly.
The diner is a little out dated but gives off an old school diner vibe, which I think there going for.
Definitely recommend if your in the area.

I order from this place. Usually, weekly, their food is good when they take the correct order. They need to listen to their customers and take the correct order. Make sure it's the correct food and cooked properly.

I haven't been to the location since I usually order Online but I can sure say the food is tasty. Sometimes I need to add a little extra seasoning but that's rare. The portions are perfect, when I've called in for requests, they make it happen. I have been to many diners but this one is at the top of the list. Major variety in offerings, a must try!

I ordered take out, meatloaf dinner some chicken fingers and pancakes. The meatloaf was out of this world! So good, and everything else was good too. Chicken wasn’t greasy and had a nice crisp even though it took a little while to get home. I would totally recommend stopping in to grab a bite

The food here is always fresh and hot. You can get anything you want so don't worry about special dietary requirements, etc.

The coffee is always piping hot and they refill it so quickly, it becomes a bottomless cup.

For breakfast, the chicken and waffles are a must have. My nephews love ordering them. You cant go wrong with any of the omelets. They will customize according to your taste.

I have been coming here for a few years now and when I am in the area, I make it a point to stop by.

The parking in the lot may be challenging at times but you can park on the street or around the corner.

This is a great place to dine alone or with the family.

Great food, great customer service and very attentive. When we first walked in, everyone was so friendly and kind. Plenty of waiters on the floor walking around so you’re always taken care of and food came out so fast! This is a great diner to bring family, friends, even for a date. Loved it here and will definitely return 😊❤️

Stop 20 Diner is a delicious time capsule, a chrome-clad haven of nostalgia, and comfort food excellence. Walking in, you’re transported to an era when diners were the heart of community life, offering hearty meals and a friendly smile. The holiday decorations gave the diner a festive glow, making the experience feel both warm and timeless.

My order, #15, the Country Omelette, was a delightful medley of bacon, ham, mushrooms, and melted American cheese. Paired with golden fries and a refreshing glass of orange juice, it was as comforting as a hug on a cold day. The omelette itself was perfectly cooked—light yet packed with flavor, while the fries provided a satisfying crispness. It’s the kind of meal that instantly makes you feel at home.

The dessert case was a showstopper, a glittering display of cakes and pastries, each one a tempting promise of indulgence. The lemon coconut cake and Nutella cheesecake caught my eye, but I was too full to give in—this time.

The décor was classic diner chic, with polished wood panels, tinsel garlands, and a bar that looked straight out of the ‘60s. You could almost imagine Danny and Sandy from Grease sharing a milkshake in one of the booths. The friendly service and cheerful atmosphere were the cherry on top, making it clear why diners like Stop 20 remain beloved.

Diners are more than restaurants—they’re cultural icons. They don’t chase fleeting trends but stay true to what they are: reliable, welcoming spaces where you can connect over simple, hearty meals. Stop 20 Diner exemplifies this spirit, offering not just food but an experience that feels like a warm embrace from the past.

If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor—stop at Stop 20. Whether you’re in for a Country Omelette, a nostalgic bite, or just some good vibes, this diner is a must-visit.

I ended up here on New Year's eve because I had no food at home and it was after 10pm. They were the only place serving food until midnight so I figured a cheese burger will have to do.

I ordered mine on a pinini bread and asked for a double patty since 99% of the diners out there make paper thin patties. This thing was a beast. They make their own burgers which is obvious because both of my burgers were not exactly identical. My hat goes off to that one. As a business owner myself, whoever runs this place knows that cutting corners only cuts your profits, and making each and every patty themselves is a lesson every other restaurant on Long Island can learn from.

I was not expecting much however, this burger was really Bang Bang Bonkers.

I had to get a piece of 7 layer cake which they make themselves as well and it was simply smashing.

Last, and most important.... CLEAN... The place is spotless, even the utensils. I don't care what price point you are targeting, keeping the place clean should always be a priority. I did not see one employee doing nothing. If they weren't helping customers, they were cleaning and taking care of the business. An example for every other restaurant to follow

Nothing makes me happier than getting something to eat at a restaurant where my expectations are low or neutral, and then I got blown out of my seat with perfection of simplicity.

Stop 20 Diner did not try to reivent any of the timeless classics that most people expect to be available at a diner and that is exactly why everything here is delicious.

Everything here is delicous and all the staff, not just my waiter were helpful and friendly. Most of them even said hello. Cheers to the owner here for keeping the most important people happy, the customers!! :)

Rice pudding, western omelet, burger, fries, all winners here. Service is good, food is hot. Atmosphere is nice and festive. A really good place to eat and have a good conversation with your friends during the year. Happy 2023 everyone.
