If you love Starbucks then this is the place for you. But it’s not a Starbucks. It’s like a bar or something. Also, the Starbucks points app doesn’t work here. I mean- of course it doesn’t.
They have loads of food and drinks here. Burgers, cakes, pizza, cocktails.
Close to the high line. So you can do both at once.

What can I say? I have a coffee problem! This was my first time visiting a Starbucks Reserve, and I loved it.

The three-level layout was really cool, and we sat on the lower level. I had my usual triple-shot blonde roast iced espresso with the Rwanda roast, which was incredibly smooth. The matcha cake was delicious too. My husband also had something, but I was more concerned over my drink haha

Overall, a great experience, and I’ll definitely visit a Starbucks Reserve again! ☕✨

Really unique Starbucks experience. The taste of the coffee was excellent, smooth and refreshing, and the atmosphere felt very different from a regular Starbucks. The design, interior, and overall vibe of the place were super interesting and premium.

It was definitely expensive compared to normal Starbucks locations, but honestly the experience makes up for it. The iced latte was really good and the bakery section looked amazing too.

A very cool place to relax for a bit while walking around New York. Expensive, yes — but still a solid 5 stars for the atmosphere and experience.

A truly amazing Starbucks. Whether you love Starbucks or just great coffee, this huge location has specialty drinks (some infused with alcohol, artisan sandwiches and baked goods, pastries, gifts, and more — this is a MUST for visitors and homegrown New Yorkers alike. Several floors of an open-airy space, where you can feel the city vibes, chill, and enjoy a few relaxing moments in a clean comfortable surrounding, while enjoying excellent food and drinks. Some free sample tastings too! This is NOT your typical cramped little corner Starbucks, where you huddle in line to use one restroom — this is a New York experience that must not be missed. Bravo Starbucks, you did this one right!

We always have a great experience at the Starbucks Reserve. We’ve visited the Chicago and Tokyo locations, and this was our 3rd time visiting the New York one. We especially like the merchandise (great to give as souvenirs and always unique to the specific city or location) and the seasonal cocktail flights.

We ordered the Espresso Martini Flight and the Seasonal Cocktail Flight. The Seasonal consisted of: Ube Espresso Martini, Double Matcha Margarita and our classic Espresso Martini. The staff are always so welcoming, knowledgeable and passionate about their craft and the company.

Aside from the bar, there’s also the roastery and a cafe with food and drinks.

Definitely vibing. Went about 8:30 on a Sunday morning. There was no crowd and the atmosphere immediately grabs you. It’s a beautiful venue packed with great Starbucks merch, a bar, and an upstairs and downstairs setting. If you’re in NYC, even if you’re not a coffee person but enjoy a good vibe, I recommend a visit.

This place is absolutely cool and such a great spot to hang out. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and everything from the pastries to the coffee is top quality. The whiskey barrel-aged cold brew was especially delicious it’s definitely a must-try!
There has been times they even had live music. One of the coolest parts is getting to see how they roast their beans and they walk you through the process. Highly recommend if you’re around!

An elevated Starbucks experience in a beautifully designed space. We had the iced Salted Caramel Bianco Latte and the Whiskey Barrel-Aged Cold Brew, both of which were excellent.
One of the baristas was especially welcoming and offered free samples of a coconut-inspired iced drink, which was a thoughtful touch and surprisingly delicious.
It’s still Starbucks, but definitely worth visiting for the atmosphere and specialty drinks.

Overall, we had a good experience at this location. The food was delicious, and the entire atmosphere was very pleasant.
Everyone working here was very friendly and helpful. If there is one thing I think this Starbucks is really missing, though, it’s more restrooms! 🤣 I’m not sure if that’s just because it’s New York, but I tried to use the restroom and saw a line of about 30 to 35 people waiting. But, as I mentioned, all in all, it’s a very good Starbucks to visit.

They have a very extensive menu featuring both food and drinks; if you are in the city, try to pay them a visit to experience cocktails and beverages that you won't find anywhere else.

Was in NYC for work in February 2026 and walked by this reserve location. I was familiar with this, but never stopped in at one. I took the opportunity to drop in and check it out. It is definitely an unique experience and one to be tried. Multi-level Starbucks with a bar, roastery area, regular coffee drinks and delicacies. While it is walk-in friendly often private evens would book up the upper levels so it might be a miss if you show up on one of those evenings. Otherwise the decor and ambiance definitely gives this place a NYC vibe with the elegance expected. Stop in if you are in the area. And if you are a coffee aficionado you'd definitely enjoy it.

The Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Chelsea is easily the most impressive Starbucks I’ve ever visited. The space is huge, beautifully designed, and feels more like a high‑end coffee experience than a regular café. The coffee flights, specialty espresso drinks, and cocktails are all incredibly well‑crafted, and the food, especially the pastries and Italian‑inspired sandwiches are way better than what you’d expect from Starbucks. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and even though it gets busy, the atmosphere is energetic rather than overwhelming. It’s the kind of place you can wander around, explore, and actually enjoy spending time in. Definitely worth a stop if you’re near Chelsea Market.

Such a great place to explore, we found this by accident after visiting Chelsea Market, we visited the one in Seattle and now the one in NYC. We love the atmosphere here and the vibe. Such a great place to hangout and enjoy good company or great place to go if you are on a solo trip. So many delicious drinks and treats to choose from. We wanted to sit and enjoy a cocktail so we went upstairs to reserve a table. The wait was only 30 mins, the service was great and friendly. The desert was delicious and the drinks were tasty. Can't wait to go back.

☕ Starbucks Reserve Roastery New York — Coffee as High-Tech Theater
This isn’t a café — it’s a live coffee laboratory ⚙️. The moment you step inside, metal, motion, and light surround you 🚀. Beans fly through transparent tubes overhead, roasting drums rotate like futuristic engines, and everything glows under warm industrial neon ✨🔴.
It feels engineered, not just designed. Screens, pipes, polished steel, precise timing — a caffeine control center 💡🎛️. The aroma hits like ignition 🔥, and the space hums with quiet energy 🌌.
You’re not just ordering coffee here ☕ — you’re watching it travel, transform, and land in your cup like a controlled launch 🛸. Bold, immersive, unforgettable.

Starbucks Reserve Roastery New York is a completely different experience from a regular Starbucks — it feels more like a coffee theater. The space is huge, beautifully designed, and filled with the sounds and aromas of fresh coffee roasting right in front of you.

Watching the roasting process, the copper details, and the open bars on multiple levels makes the visit immersive and exciting. You don’t just drink coffee here — you experience how it’s made, from bean to cup.

The coffee selection is excellent, with rare Reserve beans and creative drinks you won’t find in standard locations. Everything is crafted with care, and the quality really stands out. The food is also surprisingly good and pairs perfectly with the drinks.

Despite how busy it gets, the atmosphere remains vibrant and inspiring — a great place to take a break, meet friends, or simply enjoy being surrounded by craftsmanship and design.

Definitely worth a visit if you’re in New York, especially if you appreciate coffee, architecture, and unique urban spaces.

A very relaxing morning here, just watching the time goes by.

It was pretty crowded but still has sufficient space to chill and relax.

The coffees were great, especially the Whiskey Barrel Aged Cold Brew. The best of both worlds! Almond Croissant was good yummy too.

Special shout out to Elliot for making this visit a fabulous one. His explanation and service standards were outstanding and really made us feel at home. Thanks Elliot.
