It’s a classic spot for a reason. Delicious. Cash only. Plenty of sits, come in early or take out.

Dined here with two friends last night and had an absolutely lovely experience. Ordered the soup dumplings and beef brisket with noodles and they were both phenomenal.
Food was delectable, vibes were cozy and quiet, and the service was great. We got the soup beef brisket hui mei and pork soup dumplings. Flavors and textures were perfect 💯💯. Their chili oil is fire too 😛Both dishes and 2 drinks were about 29$ without tip. Highly recommend eating here 🤸🏻♀️
The food is delicious so much flavor and options, I got the pork soup dumplings, spicy chicken huimai, and beef pancake. All i recommend to get😋 . Also very nice customer service, but There is also limited seating with a small space and around 15 minute wait which is worth it! Will be coming back to try more food👍
Been wanting to come here for years and it did not disappoint. Food was delicious and surprisingly cheap. I had the beef pancake and spicy chicken huimei (dry hand-pulled noodle). The staff were very nice and accommodating too. Highly recommend.
The beef brisket hui mei was incredible! Thick, fresh noodles. I took it to-go and ate it about 30-45 minutes later and it was still warm!
I have come here perhaps 3 times in the last ten years and this place is unbeatable in terms of price, quality, and taste. They have their chili oil on the side. I ordered a humei with soup in the summer and I think the soup was a mistake. Next time I will get the dry noodles.
If you are thinking of eating here, definitely do it. This is one of the best spots in Chinatown that is worth the hype. I can only speak to the Big Tray Chicken (with extra wide noodles) + dumplings; the former is a unique dish not to be found elsewhere, while the second are the best dumplings I have had at a sit-down restaurant.

Service is very quick and friendly.

There may be a line, but turnover is quick - do not let is scare you off!
Tried the beef pancake here and the spicy beef brisket with noodles. Both were really good. The beef brisket with that spicy soup was the real deal. Quick service, small store so limited seating. Feels like you’ve been invited into someone’s kitchen.
Loved the food! Don't go for the ambiance, but we loved our meal even when we were sat outside on little stools.
Had the spicy beef brisket wide noodles and it was amazing, along with delicious soup dumplings!
I finally tried Spicy Village after spending loads of time in the area. I've been thinking about it ever since. The food lives up to the name - very well spiced. I got the vegetarian dry noodle (fully vegan), and I was blown away, and the portions are huge! You will wait a long time for your food if you order takeout at peak times, but it is worth it.
During a food tour of NYC, we ate at many places, but Spicy Village stood out. The scallion sauce veg dumplings were amazing. The flavor was so authentic it felt like we were eating in another country. I can't recommend them enough—definitely a 5-star experience!
Dry black bean with pork noodles tasted so much better with chilli oil, the beef noodle soups tasted too kelpy at first but it grew on me and it feels good for your soul and health. Pork pancake was my favourite. Cash only js annoying but there is an ATM inside a little grocery store around the corner.
I went today around 1 pm and waited less than 5 minutes for a table. I got the beef pancake and spicy chicken soup and omg… amazing. The hand pulled noodles were so fresh, chicken was tender and the beef pancakes were so warm and savory. Both dishes tasted delicious with their chili oil. I cannot wait to go back!
Excellent food quality, friendly staff, and loved the Big Tray Chicken dish. The Seafood Hui Mei soup itself is extremely flavorful too, and the Beef Hui Mei had chunks of good tender beef with the noodles and bok choy.

Only down side is that the restaurant is very small and you are squeezed almost shoulder to shoulder with other tables and chairs and there’s barely enough room to walk in and out. Otherwise, it’s a great affordable location for noodle soup!
