Smithfield Hall NYC

This is my weekly neighborhood football bar and I came last night for game 3 of the nba finals. It was an amazing experience! The bartenders were great and the bouncer in the front handled a chaotic line scene very well. The only reason why this isn’t 5 stars was the / manager was a little abrasive with me when I was saving a bar stool for my friend. A lot of people got there early for seats, including myself, and he seemed to make an example out of me. I don’t mind that he did this, but he should have done it consistently across all parties

OK this is sort of a side quest but we used Smithfield Hall to host brunch the morning after our wedding. The team was so kind in the lead up coordination, and on the day breakfast was delicious! The space was clean, bright, and lovely. Everyone kept telling me how perfect the bacon was, lol. Thanks to the Smithfield team (Danielle and Kevin and all the others) for a lovely morning!

Smithfield Hall will always have a special place in my heart, having watched Palace win the Conference League there, but putting that to one side, great service, good atmosphere, loads of screens, a very tasty burger, highly recommend for sports in NYC.

Tried to book a table 4 days in advance. Called over the phone and got told to send an email instead to reserve a table. After not receiving any answer, I call back and another employee tells me that “currently our managers are not here so we will be able to give you and answer to your email only in 2 days”. I am genuinely so confused on how can a pub/bar/restaurant can be run in such inefficient way

Good atmosphere and plenty of screens to watch the game. The cocktails were solid, but the small plates were hit-or-miss and felt overpriced for the portion sizes.

This is the place for all things sports, especially soccer! The owner and staff are delightful and attentive! There's never a bad time here! It's also FC Bayern Münich's Fan Club home! 🍻❤️

Great vibes, great food, wonderful place to watch a match in new york city!

My favorite place to watch a Manchester United game. Luke is an amazing waiter! He got us our drinks and food on time in-spite of it being very crowded in the United Vs Chelsea game.

Best place to watch a football (real football) match if you want the vibe. Great beer collection, they account for the added load during games though you may only get standing room. Best place to watch a game in the city!

Every worker from the security, to the hostess, to the wait staff and bartender were so kind and accommodating. Whoever is doing the hiring here is doing an excellent job. We came to watch UFC fights and they totally welcomed us even with 4 kids. To top it off the food was good too!

We popped in here while we were thrifting on 26th. Great food, atmosphere and super friendly service. Would definitely go back on our next thrift mission to NYC. Great fries.

Went to Smithfield Hall for a football match and the vibe was awesome. It was so crowded even standing place was limited. You’ll have to go super early to get a table. The pork sliders were delicious. Would definitely go again for the vibe.

As a family of Nottingham Forest fans in NYC we were obliged to attend the Boxing Day game against Spurs. The bar has several teams who use the location of which Forest being the biggest 😉😂 Arrived at 9am for a 10am KO, greeted by the landlord (top guy from Louth) and settled down with a Guinness. Food was really good , we had the Irish and American breakfasts which were quality. All the Premier League games were on with one end of the bar Forest at one end and West Ham the other, both who rolled out winners, it was a great atmosphere.and a great place to watch the football

It’s a nice huge sports bar! Came here to watch the opening of football season and wasn’t disappointed.<br>Huge selection of draft beers 🍻<br>Big food many but food is just okay<br>Chicken wings not Buffalo wings<br>Classic burger with cheese was good and French fries is delicious 🤤<br>For the burger - onions were missing<br>Great service<br>Plenty of space<br>Draft beers was served in not chilled glass I guess because of a lot of clients.<br>But the most upsetting situation- not really a nice neighborhood- so many drug addictive people was outside , just be careful after you leave this place

Really good and fresh tasting cheeseburgers with fresh hand cut fries (included) and a brioche bun which we had nicely toasted. Also nice, crunchy and tasty thin cut sweet potatoe fries. Great atmosphere to watch sports, host events and great outdoor seating where sports can be watched as well on numerous TVs facing the windows in the front of the restaurant. Really nice, friendly and on point service too. Overall A+ place and definitely recommended 👌
