I honestly haven't eaten here in about 5-8 years because the taste of the trini food was lacking so much authenticity. I decided to give them a try on Ubereats after craving a Trini style stew pork. The stew pork was stew porking. I'll make a move from Trini Delite and Trincity and give their other dishes a try, now that I tasted their stew. The meat was cut into small bite size pieces and cleaned very well. Not every Trini restaurant gets this right. The buss up shot roti was a super size and the potato add on was not runny and watered down. The stew itself had a nice brown color, it wasnt sweet, the gravy was thick and you could taste the seasonings. The pork was cooked softly, but not so soft that you couldn't see the pieces. The portion was enough for a petitie woman to eat two square meals from this dish.

I also asked for "cut up pepper sauce" in my notes and they sent me "cut up pepper" on the side. So their customer service is servicing too. I think Singh's is Singh-ing again 🎊🥳

I ordered on uber eats with pumpkin veg and sada roti. It’s totally waste of money and not tasty. Roti feels like YOGA MAT.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT.
I had the fish roti. It had no taste and only came with 2 medium chunks of fish. The person who took my order was friendly, the place was clean and had good ventilation. Also the price wasn't bad
I don't get to queens often but if i happen be here, i normally go to anil's roti shop for trini food. I've been told I needed to try singh's roti shop for a while. This particular occasion led to queens and i said let me try it out. Not going to lie, pretty much everything Anil's has with maybe the exception of deserts and china food. Yes, i know chow mein is a trini dish. 😉 I ordered a few doubles, some pholourie and 4 meals, all with buss up shot. I also got 4 champagne cola's. All this is to feed a family of 6. Total came to 80ish which isn't bad in today's times. Drove 2 hours back home regretting going to queens in the first place.... But damn the food was on point. Second I landed, had a double and was like whoa. Quickly went into a curry chicken mix with a buss up and almost finished it but couldn't. Straight 🔥🔥🔥 Not gonna lie, any ethnic food is queens is not gonna disappoint but this was straight on par with what im used to which is 🔥🔥🔥. Can't recommend singh's enough!
This is a very beautiful restaurant. They have very tasty very wonderful food. The people who are really, very nice. You have so much of vegetarian and non-vegetarian option. It is very good for Indians and West Indian and Guyanese Trinidad and Caribbean. A lot of people come from all over the New York Jamaica, Queens, and liberty. This is the good restaurant I have ever visited. I highly recommend this restaurant to everybody. They must come and visit this restaurant to stay the taste of food they have really very nice food.

From the moment you walk in, you’re met with a warm Caribbean vibe that instantly sets the tone. Parang music was playing throughout the space, giving everything a festive, Christmassy feel that made the atmosphere even more inviting and nostalgic. 🌴🎶

We were in town for New Year’s and decided it was the perfect opportunity to host a little “intro to Trini food” lime for some Eastern European friends.

With all the hype surrounding this spot, we were excited to see how it would measure up — especially when it comes to representing the bold, comforting flavors of Trinidad.

Overall, the experience was solid. The stew dishes were flavorful and well prepared, bringing that rich, home-style taste you hope for.
The curry options, however, felt like they needed a bit more salt and depth to truly make the flavors pop.

On the bright side, the roti and bara were absolutely spot on — soft, fresh, and exactly what you want to pair with the mains. Those elements really carried the meal and felt like an authentic nod to Trini staples.

All in all, it was a decent representation of Trinidadian flavors and a fun way to introduce friends to the cuisine while soaking up the festive Caribbean atmosphere. 🇹🇹✨
The black cake had a slightly crunchy texture, like sand, when you bit into it, and the sponge cake was dry. It wasn't fluffy and it went bad in two days.

Hi! We make the black and sponge cake fresh daily - please contact Tony so he can assist you further. Thank you.
I’m honestly very disappointed with the food I received today. I waited in line for 50 whole minutes, only to be served food that completely lacked flavor.

The macaroni pie had no taste whatsoever — it just didn’t mek it. The fried rice was bland, and the Chinese-style chicken had a strange, unpleasant taste. I also ordered dhal and rice with salt fish and curry, and again, the entire meal was flavorless. The only thing that had any real taste was the salt fish.

I also ordered a doubles, and thankfully, that was actually good. But considering the rest of the order, I’m incredibly disappointed.

After today’s experience, I can confidently say I won’t be coming back. It’s really unfortunate, especially after waiting so long.
You can always count on getting great food with generous portions here — a true taste of the Caribbean! On top of that, they give back to the community, which makes supporting them even more meaningful.
Everything from soup to nuts. And everything is ready by 6am in the morning. If u like Sunday Trini food in the morning this is the place for u every day. The roti and Dahl or buss up is not small and hott.
I bought a bake and salt fish from you guys and while eating I bit on something hard and when I check it was a piece of metal like Brillo/steel wool to scrub dishes. I went and asked for the owner who was not there so I asked the cashier who was in charge she told me her, I asked her name she said her name in Mandy and smirking and laughing I asked if she have a last name but she didn’t want to give me her last name and started to question me when did I buy the bake/saltfish and what time and she was kinda think it’s a big laughing matter always keep smirking and I told her this is not a laughing matter that I’m serious, she then called over another lady, then a another who took a picture of the bake/saltfish. This incident happened about 1week ago and I have no intention of shopping there and your workers must learn how to treat the customers.

Hi Ramesh, We take this matter seriously and apologize that this happened. Please contact Tony so he can address the situation with you.
Recently visited this Trini Roti shop and thoroughly enjoyed our food. Our order consisted of doubles, Veggie Roti, Chicken Roti, Goat with Rice. For Roti, we opted for the plain roti which was a thick, chewy bhatura - but tasty!

Food overall was a hit. Doubles could've been spicier but inline with what I'd have expected a roti shop to deliver in New York!

Service was a little slow and we waited for a good 20 minutes before we got to the counter to place our order. It was all worth the wait however and the food was fresh!
I’ve only just recently been trying Roti shop places but this one is definitely been my favorite! The freshness in the food is outstanding and the flavor is on a whole new level! Finally had the chance to get over here and it was so amazing! Have some doubles and allo with curry chicken and it was outstanding! Can’t wait to have this again definitely a great spot!

The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because I only came once. But given the doubles I had, I'm pretty sure the next trip will make it 5 stars easy. I drove half an hour to come here and I wasn't disappointed. It's a local spot with a bar. The doubles with everything are excellent and I have high expectations for the goat curry roti. The staff is friendly and courteous and the prices are worth it. Definitely a spot to visit and try.
I called to place an order for catering and the woman on the phone took her time to go over the menu items and prices. After I placed the order, I received a text confirming my down payment.

The day I collected my food

Half Trays
• BBQ Chicken
• Chinese Style Chicken
• Potato Salad
• Vegetable Lo Mein
• Macaroni Pie
• Pepper Shrimp

Full Tray
• Vegetable Fried Rice

It was very well packed. The food smelled so good especially the pepper shrimp (highly recommend)! The amount of food in the trays was more than enough for my event. People ate and took home food as well. EVERYONE loved the food; it was very tasty and delicious. Would definitely order again from here and recommend anyone who would like to cater, here is your spot!
