The quality of the food is incredible. You must try as many dips as you can. But they lose 1 star because we paid $30 for what is pictured below. At the time of the photo I had eaten 1 piece of chicken. That means $30 for some greens and 5 tiny cubes of chicken. Absolutely insane. We had ordered take out and live a good 40 mins away from the restaurant so we were super hungry and very disappointed when we opened this meal. Next time we’ll go to a local spot and pay half the price for 3x the food.

So flavorful
Hummus & Fried Haloumi - I meannn come on
Za'atar fries - seasoned to perfection
Falafel - Had a great kick to it
Shrimp + Lamb Merguez - Delicious grilled flavor

As you can see from the plates in the photo, they were being wiped clean haha!

We also got a yummy mascarpone ice cream for dessert that had a Baklava vibe that was really good. Not too sweet either :)
Wow. My daughter took me to Shukette on my last visit to the city, so we tried their “sister” restaurant this time.

First, the food was sooo good & really unique relative to our normal fare. It’s sophisticated, has a great variety, and the staff will guide you if you’re not familiar with their cuisine.

Second, I think everyone that works there is super cool & loves their job. Honestly, every single person was high energy, helpful and seemed really happy to have us.

Third, HUGE shout out to Pepe. He is EVERYWHERE and seems to take care of every diner. I don’t even know what his role is, but he’s everywhere helping everyone!

Thanks to the whole staff - can’t wait to get back.
This wonderful Mediterranean place was discovered accidentally. Nice environment, super friendly and helpful staff, but the food is what makes it so special. Small or larger plates are all tasty, and perfectly prepared and presented. We sampled the baby beat salad and charred broccolini, as well as the beef and lamb patties,
Grilled Artic Char, and a Lamb Kebab. Looking forward to our next visit.
Amazing food and staff! Very generous portions for a very reasonable price. It's really worth it! The atmosphere is very nice and pleasant. Bathrooms are located downstairs (for accessibility).
Great ambiance and friendly staff. I came with a friend and we ordered the hummus, whipped feta dip, fattoush salad, the steak kebab, and the baklava sundae. Honestly, everything we ordered was delicious and I would come back again :)
I wish there were 6 stars! I have eaten Middle Eastern food all over the country- this was the BEST Middle Eastern food ever! We started with Hummos- nothing like the store bought variety- so fresh and delicious- served with pita and crudite. We sampled chicken shawarma and Artichoke Char entrees- everything beautifully presented. Food was cooked to perfection. Everything was not only good but had an extra twist. Coffee is strong- even the brewed coffee. Our server was exceptionally skilled and when she learned I had celiac took special care to make sure I received food that was safe. Shoutout to Ayesha- the only disappointment was that I didn’t get to meet you!
Amazing food and even better service! The staff is so welcoming and the interior is stunning. You must try the fried halloumi and the charred broccoli—absolutely delicious. Such a great atmosphere for dinner.
The food and vibe here is soooo delicious.
And before I get started with the food- let me tell you the service here is amazing. Priscilla took our order, and she is the sweetest person ever.
We got Whipped feta + pistachio and Besarra from dips- it was just very creamy and delicious. My personal favourite is Whipped feta and pistachio.
We ordered Falafel - this is not your ordinary falafel, it is so crispy and yet so soft from the inside. PERFECT consistency
The Cherry on the cake was -Citrus Carpaccio. Oh my god - this was the best dish ever, I never had fruits taste so good in a Mediterranean setup. This was suggested by Priscilla and I am so thankful of her to suggest me such an amazing dish.
Food - 10/10
Service -10/10

Overall - A MUST VISIT !!!!
Loved the carrots, crispy and spicy. Fattoush salad, house made labne, fried halloumi were very good. Would skip whipped tahini. Good service
I ordered the malawach and as someone Yemenite, I can honestly say—they nailed it. Perfect texture, perfect flavor, just the real deal.

We also had the fattoush salad, which wasn’t the traditional version you’d expect, but a fresher, more modern take—and it worked!

There was a delay with our order, so they sent us a complimentary muesli with pears, and it was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted.

Everything was excellent, full of flavor, and had a great kick. Highly recommended!
The brunch menu was absolutely delicious with so much variety that it was hard to choose. Thankfully, our fantastic server was incredibly knowledgeable and helped guide us to some truly delightful selections. There were great options available for all dietary lifestyles, which was much appreciated. The staff was friendly, the space was beautifully decorated and festive, and the overall experience was wonderful. Highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely outstanding experience!
The food at Shuka was excellent — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere had a great energy without being too loud. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts was spot on. Highly recommend this place if you’re in SoHo and want a meal that’s both delicious and beautifully presented. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The cocktails were creative and perfectly balanced, and the portions were just right.
You can really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite.
It’s rare to find a restaurant where everything — food, service, and vibe — comes together so perfectly.
