The rating was a three. In my rip burger, there was way too much barbecue sauce, so it was unpleasant to eat. Also, a girl in our group ordered a dish because she has a gluten allergy, and they put a bunch of cheese in it, so they had to redo it. And they also didn’t give us any napkins. So, the service was so-so, and the food as well. But the interior was beautiful. Also, the restroom was awful, small, and on the first floor it smelled like some kind of dampness; the table also smelled the same way.

Burgers are very close to a home-made one. Mashed patties were crunchy and still juicy
Dined out after visiting AMNH on a Saturday afternoon mid April at around 2pm. The place was crowded and the line was almost out the entrance door. The first thing I noticed was that the 4 kiosks take an extremely long time to complete your order. It is a complicated interface where they are always suggesting to order up. They four machines are so close to each other that you can practically see the other customer’s order and information. Additionally, there were no order table numbers available at none of the kiosks. There was also no one taking orders at the 2 cashier stations. The waiting area for food was crowded, no space to wait around, really. There was also no space to sit downstairs or upstairs. I wondered about the average waiting time from the time it took to complete your order to getting your order. My order was completed in 11 minutes.

What really sets this spot apart from all the others is the service.
There’s a group of amazing ladies in the kitchen who, even when it’s super busy, keep such a beautiful energy while making those burgers. You can feel the love in the food.
The waiters are always so polite and welcoming too.
I’ve been coming here for over 12 years… my very first time, I was pregnant, and now I get to bring my daughter with me. That alone makes this place so special to me.
My favorite spot, always. ❤️
Food was very, very good. Staff were also very good. Burger was medium; perfect! Not over done. Sat down stairs and staff was attentive; cleaning and serving. Glad condiments were downstairs too. Two issues though. Major one was bathrooms that were filthy and hand soap dispenser was broken. Minor issue was I was notified food was ready early, and it was not. I went back up the stairs through heavy traffic and food was not ready. Went back downstairs and attendant did not our table tent number and radioed the upstairs team with where we were sitting (downstairs).
Ordered delivery. Took an hour and food was cold. But I’m not sure it was the long wait time that made it so cold; the burger itself was raw in the middle, which I didn’t feel safe eating. I tried to call the restaurant to warn them, but the phone number is disconnected. Uber Eats support was also unhelpful. Praying I don’t get sick.

This establishment has self service so you can order with a tablet and grab a number and someone will take your order to you, it was easy to use, the order arrived fast and food was delicious as always. It may take a couple of minutes to find a place to seat but you'll get there.
Good spot for a quick bite. The burgers are tasty and consistent with other Shake Shack locations, and the shakes never disappoint. Service can be a bit slow during peak hours, and seating inside is limited. Staff are generally friendly, however when I asked for a drink without ice, the woman at the counter reacted rudely, which made the service feel less friendly.
I ordered a brownie batter hot cocoa shake and French fries today.

The shake was decent. I did get a few small pieces of broken down brownie crumbs. The fries were pretty nice actually. It was crispy even when it’s cold. Delicious!

The staff were nice and friendly. The layout of the restaurant was kind of strange. Takeout was tucked in all the way to the back that I had to walk past all the people who were dining there. I just think I would like people constantly walking passing by when I’m enjoying my food.

This Shake Shack has wine. Maybe I’ll come back and try it next time.
We walk by Shake Shack a lot. The first time we entered there, Sarah greeted us kindly. We felt very welcomed and all the staff were friendly. Sarah worked diligently to guide us place an order and bring us our order.

The burgers and drinks were delicious. I appreciated the fresh vegetables on the burgers so my picky little eaters will eat veggies together with the tasty cheese and hamburger patties. The tables were clean. Definitely coming back for more.
If you’re a vegetarian, the veggie burger is pretty good for less than $10. The fried onions made it so tasty. My family ordered their own burgers and crinkle cut fries.

The server here was so sweet. She brought our food to the table and genuinely said, Welcome to Shake Shack. Another server came around checking on every table and even brought a baby seat to a family who just arrived.

I really appreciated the kindness, it goes a long way to make someone’s day.
This place is a fantastic burger 🍔 joint! Just like all of their spots in NYC 🗽, Shake Shack on the UWS serves a wonderful selection of delicious 🤤 burgers, sandwiches 🥪, fries 🍟, and more! Their crown 👑 jewel 💎 is definitely the shakes ! 🥤 Get the Vanilla Shake - it's absolutely amazing! 🤩 Service is super quick. ⏲️ I wish I came here more often!
The burgers are good but is not the end of the world. The shakes are good and creamy, my favorite was the tiramisu. They have restrooms downstairs. Is VERY crowded, I recommend you order online and pick up. The service is good though. Burgers does not include fries, you gotta pay them separately.
This Shake Shack is located right next to the American Natural History Museum, that’s why we decided to stop here to grab a quick lunch before heading in.

The staff immediately welcomed us with a smile and directed us to the kiosks to order. We just had a couple burgers and fries.

Everything was good, not sophisticated or anything, simple but good! The fries were swimming in cheese which for us was a bit too much but that’s absolutely personal taste.

We paid roughly 20$ for a satisfying and filling lunch, great stop!
