Great spot, food nice and fresh. The staff are very helpful and respectful. Some of them are very welcoming once you enter the door. You get immediate attention. Just the way a real establishment should be, maybe add one or 2 more self order kiosks.

I wrote on my survey this:

I received great and quick service from Stanley at the Theatre District location. Even though there was a large amount of people, when I gestured for Stanley to see if my order were ready, he immediately checked with a smile, and told me to have a good day. As someone who works in fast food, it is extremely difficult sometimes to keep a cheerful demeanor especially at the hour I arrived, and for the amount of people. This led me to go back inside and ask Stanley for his name and I was told to do a survey, which I am happily doing. Stanley having such a great attitude reflects highly on Shake Shack as a whole, and I will be returning to my home Shake Shack location more often than before. Thank you GOAT Stanley!

ALSOOOOOOOO shoutout my GOAT with the grey beard.

Highly recommend Shake Shack!
Vibes and food were great. We ate there multiple times after midnight and the guy who was running the food was awesome. He made sure we were good, gave us the lay of the land in times square, talked food and sports with us and was extremely friendly and funny.
Got the Korean style Burguer. This was the best Burguer from all the locations they have in NY.
Really, really, really delicious, everyone should try it. Honestly, among fast-food options this is the best, I ended up eating it three times while I was in New York.
Had an amazing experience at Shake Shack! The male server who delivered our burgers was incredibly energetic and full of smiles. He served our food swiftly and diligently, explaining everything clearly, all while keeping a positive, lively vibe throughout the restaurant.

He really set the tone for the whole place, making it feel welcoming and well managed, and the cleanliness of the tables and surroundings was noticeable too. Truly a standout example of excellent service, definitely deserves praise!
Delicious burgers and milkshakes. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Gets very crowded and hard to find a table to sit at. Does have some counters to stand up and eat also. Has a restroom for customers. Free cups of water.
It pains me to due this but out of principle I have to rate this location a 1 star. First off, I tried ordering on the app in advance to get my order done ahead of time but it has me running around in circles so Shake Shackntech management better get that fixed because I have no problem ordering from any other fast food app. 2nd the location has no kiosk so I can't take advantage of any online offers which would've greatly discounted what I wanted from there and without that I can't use any of those offers because I can't redeem them ordering in person. I have non ssue with the woman behind the counter because she explained the issue with me with the utmost of courtesy but at the end of the day, I still can't get my food with a great deal over there so this place is utterly useless if you want to order your food ahead of time.

🍔 Quick, tasty, and full of little surprises!

We stopped by Shake Shack in the Theater District for a casual dinner — and it turned out to be a really great choice. The service was fast, and what’s nice is that they actually bring the food right to your table, which makes the experience more relaxed and enjoyable. 🙌

I ordered one of their classic burgers and was surprised by a fun little twist — crispy fried pickles in batter! 🥒✨ It was something different and added a nice crunch to the meal. Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor.

There’s plenty of seating, which is a big plus in this area, and it didn’t feel cramped or noisy even during the dinner rush. Tables were clean, and the vibe was welcoming.

✅ Great for a quick bite before or after a Broadway show
✅ Fun menu twists (fried pickles, yes please!)
✅ Enough space to sit down and enjoy your meal

If you’re in Midtown and need a fast, delicious, and hassle-free dinner — I definitely recommend this location of Shake Shack! 🍟🍔
Decent food, but the place could really use a clean.
The burgers and chips were tasty as expected – classic Shake Shack quality. However, the inside of the restaurant was quite messy, with dirty tables and overflowing bins. It definitely took away from the overall experience. Shame, because the food itself was spot on.
Love their burgers! I always get them well done. They are nice and juicy and the best with lettuce tomato and onions. My baby had a mix of ice cream chocolate and vanilla with Oreo topping and he loved it. The staff was very accommodating attentive and friendly.
I was astounded that I even got a seat in here on a Saturday afternoon, usually it is packed out but on this occasion it was fairly empty. Burger was absolutely AMAZING with lots of melted cheese between two patties just how I like it. Shake Shack is obviously more expensive than McDonald's or Wendy's but it is worth it - I have yet to visit a branch of either in the touristy part of Manhattan that's decent, clean and isn't populated with rude staff.
Stopped by Shake Shack Theatre Street, NYC for a late-night bite, and even at 10 PM, the place was packed—a testament to its popularity, but also a reminder that you might need to wait for a table. Ambience was nothing special, just your typical fast-casual setup, but the food made up for it.
Tried the Truffle Burger, and it delivered-tender, juicy patties with deep, rich flavors that didn't disappoint. The milkshake? A standout! Fragrant, creamy, and indulgent without feeling too heavy. Bonus points for table delivery, which made the experience smoother.

If you don't mind the crowd, it's a solid spot for a satisfying, late-night burger fix. Would I return? Yes, if I am looking for a quick meal.
The burgers were incredibly delicious. The shakes are a MUST TRY! We tried chocolate as well as cookies and cream shake –pure bliss! Thick and yummy!
The only downside was the wait for seating. Service was quick and efficient. The food was definitely worth the wait. Overall, highly recommend this spot for a tasty, satisfying meal!
Shake Shack in the Theater District is a lively and popular spot, especially during peak hours. The place was super busy when we visited, and it took about half an hour to find a seat. Despite the wait, the experience was worth it.

The burger quality was excellent — juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The staff was friendly and efficient, managing the rush with a positive attitude.

The ambiance was energetic and dynamic, fitting for its location near Broadway. While it’s not the best spot for a quiet meal, it’s perfect if you’re looking for a classic burger experience in a fun, bustling setting. Just be prepared to wait during busy times!
