Shake Shack Dumbo

Very disappointing experience at Shake Shack DUMBO. The waiting times were horrible and there was no proper communication from the staff regarding order ETA or delays. Customers placing offline/in-store orders were basically ignored while the staff focused mainly on online delivery orders. A simple update on waiting time would have made the experience much better. Poor service and management overall.

An unsatisfactory experience. Although the restaurant is well-located, one expects a fast-food establishment to be served in under 45 minutes (for my friends) or to be served at all, as I wasn't served after a 50-minute wait and had time constraints that forced me to leave. The staff is overwhelmed, which I completely understand given the volume of customers, but surely they could improve the staff during such busy times.

First time at the DUMBO location, it's a nice location, not much of a difference from all the other locations in terms of atmosphere, but the location is definitely appealing if you wanna be in the area for it's tourist attractions. This location has inside and outside eating areas. Overall it was nice.

For a fast food joint Shake Shack almost all always had delicious food done quickly! And this location does that every time we have been. This spot is one of the busiest Shake Shacks in the country and they consistently give fast service with quality yummy burgers. (I am weird - and get the hot dog) They get very busy, but it is worth the wait!

The wait for the food was long with waiting up to half a hour possible for others sense I visited during its busiest time(don’t visit during a busy time). The food was phenomenal and the first time I tried curly fries and the burger tasted so much different from the ones I usually eat. The building itself was a good looking place with decorations. The bathroom takes a few minutes to use.

Just be prepared for potential wait times and variable food quality.

One of the best locations in the city the view is to die for. The service was great even though they where short staffed that night we received timely table service the night before the storm.

Burger tastes as savory and flavorful as usual. Fried were clearly seasoned and tasted phenomenal, with and without sauce. Considering how many people were in there and that they cook the burgers fresh, I would say I got my food in a good wait time. I'm definitely coming back!

First time at a Shake Shack, happy to see a veggie burger. Burgers were super tasty and the chocolate sakes too.

1st time in a shake shack burger and I am still flashed by the taste and quality of the burgers. Free water is great to avoid the sweet soda stuff!!! Kids loved ist too.

Delicious burgers and fries as expected of Shake Shack. The plus point for this particular eatery was it spacious and not crowded even during lunch time on the weekday we were there. And service was quick!

The atmosphere here is casual but lively, and you really feel like you’re part of the NYC energy — tourists and locals all mingling, enjoying good food with great vibes.<br><br>We ordered 2 single ShackBurgers and 2 orders of spicy cheese fries, and wow. Shake Shack always delivers on consistency, but this location felt extra fresh and flavorful. The burgers were perfectly cooked — juicy, hot, and full of that classic Shack sauce flavor we love. The buns were super soft and slightly toasted, just how they should be. It’s a simple burger, but they somehow make it taste gourmet every single time.<br><br>Now let’s talk about those spicy cheese fries. 🔥 Seriously, the perfect combo of crispy crinkle-cut fries with that smooth, spicy cheese sauce that adds just the right kick. Food is good, location is wonderful but the infrastructure is terrible, super hot interiors air conditioner seems to be working at 20%, and worse of all just one restroom, huge line for it! Incredible how can they operate with this amount of tables and sales and only have just a little restroom, not even in the poorest mcdonalds in south america you have this poor installations. This Shake Shack should be called Shake Trash.

The staff were extremely rude. We approached the counter to place our order and were told it was cash only at the counter. There were 3 kiosks to use for credit card users. 2 of the 3 kiosks were not working. There were 3 employees horse playing and goofing off. They could have easily taken our order. Instead we had to wait for the people to finish using the kiosk who looked to be having a lot of trouble. After waiting 15 minutes to use the kiosk we waited another 15 minutes for our food. We finally placed our order. The burgers, fries, and shakes were good.

Amazing burgers, chicken bites and hot dogs. Strawberry shake and mango passion was pretty good too.<br><br>They missed out our strawberry shake in the order and no condiments where asked. Misspelled the name as well.<br><br>One another thing that management need to take care off is educate employees about good customer service and be pleasant. I understand the stress working in a fast food Resturant I been there too. Will visit again Shake Shack may be another location.
