Seafood City

Being were from the Midwest and West coast, when we ordered our food we asked for chicken strips, she's like, "you mean, chicken tenders!?" That was a slightly humorous moment, but note taken. Seafood city has some good food, but even better drinks. Everything was nice, seating, atmosphere, location, eye candy and food.

We headed to City Island for the day and stopped at Seafood City for lunch. We ordered the Fried Seafood Combo and made a perfect choice. It was more than enough for two healthy appetites.<br><br>The staff were busy but still friendly even with the rush.<br><br>Next time we’re in the area, we’ll definitely be stopping in again.

91 year old father in a wheelchair thrown out with service dog. Family was told my father had to be blind in order to have his service dog with him. My family and I were told we could leave the dog in the car and come back or to leave immediately. No dogs were allowed. My father rolled out in his wheelchair with his service dog on his lap. He was only at seafood City celebrating his 91st birthday

More like fast food seafood. Food was ok, had fried whiting and shrimps. Batter was crispy, but not well seasoned. Served with fries and found warm pickle under the fries, which we did not expect, but was in everyone's dish. Plenty of indoor seating, similar to a park bench set up.

I love the seafood here. It’s delicious and very affordable. The waterfront view is beautiful, and the atmosphere is great. I definitely recommend this place.

Foods normally always good, cant tell you how many dates I been here on, they never complain, and place itself is good, but sometimes the good boogers roll up in there and start theyre sheet, but no one can blame the spot for that. Still, delicious and never a bad time

I am a big seafood lover. So, once in a while, I would come here to treat myself on a low budget. During the summer of 2025, I came back and realized that the food quality was bad, and the taste was different. The worker also had a horrible attitude. Sorry, I decided not to order and leave, giving her the benefit of the doubt, thinking that maybe she was having a bad day. What back a second time, which is now in November, and it was the same worker with two other ladies. They’re all Latinas. Their attitude was on a different level, just nasty and unprofessional. So I still ordered my food only to find a roach in it after eating one lobster tail. I discovered a roach in my food! I have begun to think it was deliberately placed there. Went back to let Miss Nasty attitude know & she still had a horrible attitude. She gave me my money and I had to let her know I wanted a refund for everything. I think miss Nasty attitude name is Maria.

Great food the fried shrimp is fabulous and fresh i have also tasted the fresh fried snapper and its also delicious. Fresh and consistent each time i have eaten it. Im here today November 18th having the shrimp with tostones and its great ❤️🥰. The guy was nice behind the counter he said the fish is dobe with scampi sauce. Totally recommend coming the tostones are great and the shrimp are great which is what i had today ❤️🥰

My boyfriend put me on to this spot! He wanted a drink and i wanted crab legs! Crab legs was a lil over cooked but satisfied my craving, corn was buttery and potato was dry! Drink was good and generous! Service was ok! Took my order and waited about 10/15 mins for food! Atmosphere depends on the time you go can be really full and packed with people or a few people

Is a great place for you to go eat and spend time with friends and family. Prices are typical for New York area. The place it’s loud and very crowded. It’s very organized and for fast food is very clean. The menu is really extensive for mostly finger food. Indoor and outdoor seating available. It has a beautiful view.

Food was good not hot, if you sit outside there are way too many birds. Not relaxing outside. Prices are good. The number calling for food gotta get better, you can’t understand her. Line was long but they move

Very fun place to go, very family orientated with video games, drinks can be pricey but they r nice & strong 💪 👍🏾<br>****CASH ONLY**** there r ATM 's in the restaurant tho

Everything tasted fresh and wasn't overly seasoned! Great atmosphere with area for children (and adults) to play at, nice spacious indoor and outdoor seating as well.<br><br>There are ATMs available if you need to withdraw some cash.

Seafood City – City Island, New York<br><br>During a recent trip to New York, I had the pleasure of visiting Seafood City in City Island to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant is spacious, with plenty of parking and seating available. The service was quick and efficient, and the prices were very reasonable, adding to the overall value of the meal.<br><br>We tried a variety of dishes, including raw oysters, fried lobster tails, broiled lobster tails with garlic pasta, Manhattan clam chowder, a cheeseburger with fries, chicken tenders, and fried shrimp. Everything was flavorful and cooked to perfection, except for the garlic pasta, which was a bit bland. Despite that, the quality of the other dishes made up for it.<br><br>One of the standout features of Seafood City is its family-friendly atmosphere, which includes a small arcade for children to enjoy. It’s a great touch that keeps kids entertained while waiting.<br><br>One thing to note is that Seafood City is cash-only, which can be inconvenient, though they do provide an on-site ATM (with a fee).<br><br>Overall, I highly recommend Seafood City for its excellent seafood, reasonable prices, and family-friendly environment. I’ll definitely stop by again when I’m back in town!

I haven’t been here in many years. I’m glad to see. They have stepped up their game with safety and food was excellent. Glad I came back and gave it another chance. It was empty today because of Labor Day weekend which was great. There were no lines normally it’s super crowded. They are cash only but have three ATMs inside. I will be going back. I love seafood, City, honey coladas, and fried shrimp and scallops.
