Celiac warning: Absolutely shocking cross-contamination. I ordered and explicitly told them I have celiac, but then watched the staff toss my gluten-free patty on the exact same grill surface as regular gluten buns and a grilled cheese. When I pointed it out, they claimed it was fine because they toast the GF buns separately. Complete lack of basic food safety training. Incredibly dangerous if you have a medical restriction. Avoid

I visited this Schnipper's Restaurant during my trip to NYC, and had Mac & Cheese and a sloppy Joe! As a German tourist I didn’t knew this restaurant chain before, and was surprised about the food quality and taste! My food was brought to the table, and was quite delicious!<br><br>The Server Marylin made an excellent customer service, and she was very polite!<br><br>I would definitely visit this restaurant again, and would also recommend this restaurant to my friends!

This place was cool for a quick bite but as all things in NYC EXPENSIVE. I spent over $40 on a burger, onion rings and a cookie. It was clean and the service was helpful and efficient. It is directly across the street from the Port Authority so it was loud outside and many tourists were inside.

i moved away from new york for 7 years until a month ago, i always remembered their fish and chips was so good. my daughter came to new york for education, i always tell her we have to go eat their fish and chips. we went there at night. we waited the orders longer than usual, we found there were 3-4 employees in the kitchen, gathering around but doing nothing. there were a few customers waited as well. finally we got our orders. the chips were good. we got 1 big piece of fish and 2 thin strips. the strips were good. the big piece tasted so fishy. tasted like fish blood. i was so disappointed in the quality of the food and the service were going down that bad.<br><br>p.s reply for the owner replies, my daughter did ordered a burger, but kinda small, just a regular burger, nothing worth to mention, thats why i didn't. and even no apology or anything. well.....very disappointed, u loss 2 customers.

The chicken fingers were crispy awesome. The charred broccoli was delicious. The city streets were bustling outside the windowed wall.

Came here for food before a movie. Sister is legally disabled and needs a table with a back and we pay for our food to discover the ENTIRE restaurant is “reserved” for a large group that is not here! If I knew we couldn’t accommodate her disability we would’ve left and ate elsewhere! Incredibly rude and the staff was facilitating it! Insane.

The sandwich was great but i couldn’t finish the slaw, it started to upset my stomach.<br><br>They offered a stuffed chocolate chip cookie/cookies and cream and i asked what was it stuffed with and the cashier said it was on the cookie and i said, yea but is it cookie stuffed with cookies n creme or is it a cookies n cream stuffed cookie. She repeated herself and i repeated myself and she took the cookie out of my hand and read it out loud. So i repeated myself again and she shrugged and said cookies n cream who which gave me the impression she was not sure. So i said so you warm them up and she shrugged again and said we don’t do that here. Needless to say, selecting “no tip” was an easy decision.

Standard counter order and cook to order place serving american foods with a bit of flare. Nothing extremely memorable but all good tasting and cooked well. In and out fairly quickly. But no line at the ordering cashier so if a line, unknown on the experience.

The burger was good, however my wife was very excited for the chicken fingers, which are gluten free. Being from the UK we had not seen GF fried chicken, however this was the blandest food we have had. Perhaps this is why GF fried chicken is rare.<br><br>Chips and shakes were very good

My experience at Schnippers was great. The food is delicious and you can tell it's freshly prepared with fresh ingredients and great flavor. The service was quick and the atmosphere pleasant. That said, the prices are a bit high for the portions, but the quality makes up for it. Recommended if you're looking for good food and don't mind paying a little more.

Eating at this restaurant for the first time as they had a unique taste and experience to offer. The burger was delicious and plated well. Fries were also very tasty and made the meal. A great spot to catch a quick eat or to sit and enjoy the scenery. The staff was also very friendly, knowledgable and quick. A great experience!

On a whim I tried the beet reuben. It was hands-down the best sandwich I've EVER had! The restaurant had ample space and had a relaxed atmosphere.

Fried chicken is all gluten free which is amazing, I had the fried chicken meal with sweet potato fries and blue cheese sauce. So hard to find things like this when being gluten free, the fried chicken was incredible and so crunchy! My partner (not gf) had a hot dog which he said was one of the best hot dogs he has eaten.<br>I like that it is a mix of fast food/dine in with ordering taking place at the counter but food is delivered to your table by staff using electronic buzzers.

A solid fast casual option if you’re looking for a step above a fast food joint but don’t have the time or money to spend on an elaborate sit-down meal. We stopped here before a matinée show, and it was a great pre-show choice. We were in and out of there within 45 minutes.<br><br>My impossible burger and fries were fresh and satisfying. I loved the texture of the fries. My mom’s sloppy joe mac and cheese was the perfect comfort food.

Super creamy Mac and Cheese is really good! Very tasty and creamy, and it is served piping hot. We also got the Schnipper’s classic burger set, which comes with the fries and drinks.<br><br>Overall, a great fast food choice, though the portion size may be a bit small.<br><br>Place was super clean as well, with a lot of seating available. Staff was super friendly and helpful too! Great experience here
