We reunited with some old friends at a long Sunday brunch at Sarabeth's and had such a good experience. Staff were very accommodating, food and drinks were fantastic, and the busy Sunday brunch meant that we could take our time and catch up with old friends. I think if you're in a rush and still want to do Sarabeth's for a Sunday brunch you might want to speak up when you get seated; the pace of service here on a Sunday brunch is meant to be a little more relaxed than places that are catering to the theater crowd.

Response from the owner

Thank you for sharing your experience at Sarabeth's! We're delighted to hear that you and your friends had a great time. We appreciate your feedback about the pace of service on busy Sundays and will ensure our staff is attentive to guests' preferences. We look forward to welcoming you back soon!

Inoffensive. It’s a large restaurant where we could make a res a week out for brunch. Yes, you should make a reservation. Portions are large and shareable. I had heard about there pancakes and went primarily to try them. The lemon ricotta pancakes were fluffy and light in lemon flavor. Surprisingly, the one great burger was actually our favorite of the two entrees. We liked the green tomato and bacon. The fries are somewhat on the softer than crispy side. I think it’s ideal for groups of 2-6 but the space can accommodate larger parties.

Response from the owner

Thank you for your detailed review! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed our lemon ricotta pancakes and the great burger. We appreciate your feedback on the fries and will work on improving them. We look forward to welcoming you back for another delicious meal soon!

Lemon ricotta pancakes was what I wanted to eat on the first day of my birthday celebrations. Along with bacon, this made for a fine breakfast. Five pancakes came with tiny ramekins of maple syrup, soft spreadable butter and blackberries. Five crisp bacon rashers brought joy. A cup of coffee rounded out this meal. Having eaten excellent buttermilk pancakes countless times when I had lived on the UES at the Sarabeth’s there, I knew that here on Park Avenue South's location, I would be getting tasty food. The pancakes were tender and fluffy. The crisp bacon was so good that I was tempted to order another helping. Omoriya showed me to my table and Tyree was the affable server. Here one can eat leisurely as this dining room is large. No one hurries you out. I managed three pancakes and struggled with a quarter more. If I had eaten the rest my request would have been a wheelbarrow to trundle me home. The only downside was the coffee which was average in taste and lukewarm. Service is excellent and being at Sarabeth's is lovely. The floral arrangements are particularly lovely.

Response from the owner

Thank you for celebrating your birthday with us Sabena! We're delighted you enjoyed our lemon ricotta pancakes and crisp bacon. We appreciate your feedback on the coffee and will work on improving it. We look forward to welcoming you back for another wonderful dining experience at Sarabeth's!

Sarabeth's Park Avenue South is an excellent brunch spot that I would 100% recommend. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the entire experience even better. The atmosphere has a classic NYC brunch feel—comfortable, lively, and perfect whether you're going with friends, family, or for a date.
The food was outstanding across the board. The smoked salmon eggs benedict was one of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly poached eggs, fresh salmon, and a rich, flavorful hollandaise sauce that brought everything together. The omelet was also excellent, cooked perfectly and very filling. Portions here are generous, so you definitely leave satisfied.
The drinks were just as impressive. The mimosas were fresh, well-balanced, and the perfect addition to brunch. The service stood out as well—our server was always nearby, happy to answer questions, and made sure everything was taken care of without ever feeling rushed.
Overall, this is a fantastic brunch destination with amazing food, great drinks, and top-tier service. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and memorable brunch in NYC.

Sarabeth's nails the holy trinity of brunch: ambiance, great food, and genuinely excellent service -- a combo few spots actually pull off.

Cordell was our server, and he was the perfect blend of courteous, professional, and warmly welcoming -- like we were long-lost regulars finally making it back home.

Highlights? A Bloody Mary done exactly right (complete with pickled, spiced veggies), a fresh and satisfying power bowl with avocado, and a garden omelette that tasted as good as it looked. Everything arrived beautifully plated, and the menu feels thoughtfully and expertly crafted rather than thrown together for trend's sake.

We walked in hungry and walked out happier -- which, if you think about it, is the entire point of brunch.

Response from the owner

Thank you for the glowing review Alex! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your experience at Sarabeth's. We're glad Cordell provided excellent service and that you loved our brunch offerings. We look forward to welcoming you back for another delightful meal.

I visited Sarabeth’s in Manhattan and had a pleasant overall experience. The service was attentive and friendly, and the seating was comfortable, which made the meal feel relaxed.

The food itself was tasty and well-prepared — definitely the highlight of the visit. However, the drinks didn’t quite match the quality of the food. From the cappuccino to the hot chocolate and tea, everything tasted fairly average. My cappuccino in particular was half foam and half actual drink, which was a bit disappointing.

Cost of food is a little steep, but I would assume in line with a restaurant of this level/quality.

Still, it’s a nice spot with good service and enjoyable food. With some improvement on the beverage side, it could be an excellent all‑around experience.

Response from the owner

Thank you for your detailed feedback Ismail! We're glad to hear you enjoyed the service and food at Sarabeth’s. We appreciate your comments on the beverages and will work on enhancing their quality to match our delicious meals. We hope to provide you with an even better experience next time!

Sarahbeth’s Park Ave. A Family-Friendly Gem for Steak Frites and Cocktails
Tucked into the heart of Manhattan’s Upper West Side, Sarahbeth’s delivers timeless American comfort food with a sophisticated twist—perfect for a relaxed family outing. The warm, nostalgic decor, complete with cozy booths and kid-approved high chairs, makes it effortlessly family-friendly, even during peak brunch hours. Kids devoured the fluffy pancakes, while we savored the star of the show: their excellent steak frites, featuring a perfectly seared hanger steak paired with crispy, herb-flecked fries and a velvety béarnaise sauce that elevates it to bistro bliss. The cocktails steal the scene too—try the seasonal Old Fashioned with its house-infused bourbon for a grown-up delight without overwhelming the table. Service is attentive yet unobtrusive, and prices are fair for the quality. If you’re craving elevated classics in a welcoming vibe, Sarahbeth’s is your spot. Five stars— we’ll be back soon!

Always off putting when as a solo diner the host/ hostess offered to sit me at the bar instead of at a table, especially when it was past peak breakfast time and tables were available a plenty.
But I stood my ground, got a nice comfortable table plus an attentive waiter (and coworkers) all of whom made sure I got everything I needed during my entire 40’ stay.
The atmosphere was modern, airy, well lit with nice booths, and light fixtures.

My pop over came out in minutes and looked and tasted like it had been reheated. Bone dry both on the inside and the outside.
And this was supposed to be what they are known for. Sigh.
Salmon ok. Tea served in an ugly utilitarian metal teapot.
But given the attentive service will go back and give them another try.

Response from the owner

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the mishap with your pop over and tea presentation. We appreciate your understanding and willingness to give us another chance. We'll make sure to address the issues mentioned to enhance your dining experience next time.

Sarabeth’s Park Avenue South is a gem! Came here for brunch and was blown away by the warm service, delicious food, and beautiful space. Our waiter, James W., was so kind and thorough, making sure our first visit felt special. The Greek omelette and rose sangria were amazing, and the lemon ricotta pancakes with blackberries were out of this world. They even surprised my best friend with a birthday cake! Can’t wait to come back for their happy hour cocktails. Highly recommend!

I was here for Breakfast today and walking in was a Cozy, Diner-Like Atmosphere which had its charm even though it was quite simple. The Waiters were very kind and polite giving me great service with all of them having great and friendly smiles :). I ordered the Salmon Eggs Benedict and the Buttermilk Pancakes. The Eggs Benedict had a nice smoke to the Salmon yet lacked a bit of Hollandaise Sauce but made up for it with its well dressed Side Salad. Pancakes had an excellent texture and flavour, reminding me of a charming home-cooked breakfast. Overall, 5 stars!

Response from the owner

Thank you for the 5-star review Elias! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed your breakfast experience with us, especially the cozy atmosphere and friendly service. We appreciate your feedback on the Salmon Eggs Benedict and will ensure to perfect the Hollandaise Sauce. We look forward to welcoming you back!

decent brunch place. Was yummy. I liked the eggs Benedict. Why is bacon $14 for a side? Also the popovers came out cold:( definitely expensive for what it is.

I have walked by each of these restaurants several times and never had an interest in trying them, I was wrong. Came in for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The food was great. Very large slice of quiche that was creamy and cooked well with a nice side salad. A friend ordered the goldie lox scramble and absolutely raved about it. I had to try the popover. It was delicious crispy out and flaky inside but for me was a little over browned, jam was nice, not too sweet. The happy hour menu looks great and the bar area is really nice. Will definitely return to try more options.

Response from the owner
