I’ve been there in person and have ordered take out. The service is fine. But the food has declined. Just yesterday I spent $70 on a very underwhelming portion of chofan, bistec palomilla, and chicharrón de pollo. The portions were like lunch portions. Food isn’t outstanding like it used to be and very overpriced for the portions. Yuca fries are good though. And the tostones cups with guacamole.

The food was delicious. Host was dismissive and rude. He was an older asian man, not sure if he was in a bad mood or if that was his personality but he ignored me on several occasions.

I came in to have dinner by myself and there were several parties waiting for have dinner in the lobby. The sever seemed to completely forget about me after dropping off my food. He was a polite but not as attentive as I'm used to. I probably won't be back

Average Chino Latino Spot, saying all that it was a packed house with people waiting for tables. For my personal taste the house fried rice had too much soy sauce and way too salty. Chuleta frita was yummy and sesame chicken was soiled in a whooping amount of sauce, which I didn't enjoy. Great price for the amount of food.

The blend of Latin and Asian flavors on the menu is exciting, and the food was fresh and wholesome. We sat by the window looking out on bustling Castle Hill Avenue. The restaurant is brightly lit and festive. I ordered Roast Pork Lo Mein, and it was a generous plate of tasty pork, many vegetables- including carrot , pea shoots, and onion, my favorites, and sumptuous noodles in a rich sauce. It reminded me of my mother's cooking the way the vegetables were cut large. There was a familiar simplicity. In California we would call this thick noodle style Chow Mein versus Lo Mein. I was able to eat the whole plate, but it is easily a shared dish. The servers are really nice; make sure and bring a cash tip- they accept credit cards but do the tips separately I think.

Haven’t been here for 13 years the place looked like it’s been sold 10 times since there’s nothing Asian about this restaurant, let alone Latino the food is flavorless. The chefs are not Asian. The old school Asian guys are long gone and probably retired. I want to say that at least it was good because it looks like the owner might be Dominican and it has flavor, but I am completely wrong. For the local the place is probably great, but I know people won’t be coming out of their way from a distance to come to this place.

I am rating this establishment with four stars due to the portion size and the additional cost for condiments. This restaurant has been a long-standing favorite of mine, consistently offering excellent food and generous portions.

However, my recent lunch order, which was the fried pork chops and pork fried rice combo for $18.00, was a bit disappointing in terms of quantity. While the meal was undeniably delicious, it consisted of a reasonable amount of rice but only one small pork chop. Furthermore, only one packet of duck sauce and one packet of soy sauce were provided, with any additional condiments incurring an extra charge, which I find rather unreasonable given the price point.

Delicious! A colleague told me you was the best place near work. I'm only here for a couple days and this place was fantastic. Casual finest of the fine casual dining if that makes sense. I had the sea bass. Huge fish portions with adequate side of maduros. The flan was delicious and the perfect single size serving at a very reasonable price. Fantastic meal overall.

Great Asian Latin fusion cuisine. Never had a bad meal at this place. The warm bread they start you off with is delicious.

So I ordered this fine Chino Latino infusion.... I felt like you can't go wrong with sesame chicken. This right here! Is soo good! Its something familiar and different for your taste buds... The fried rice particularly stands out... Im looking forward to trying more expectingly good food from here

I went there on the word of people I know... horrible! The tostones rellenos were fine but everything else especially the rice (chofan) was not good! Wife had shrimp and crab that was way to salty. The Chofan rice had a wierd smell, taste and texture. I've been to many spanish Chinese restaurants this was the worst. Take a chance if you want but there's many other places with better food. I packed it all up and feed the homeless people.

I used to patron this location when I was young. I was in the neighborhood at my Uncle's wake at the Ortiz funeral. The place was packed as always, and the food was still delicious. You can not go wrong with their chofan rice.

Omg I love it this place 😂🥹
I came here after getting my hair braided and I am thrilled to say I made a great choice. Been here twice before and the food here never disappoints. Everything on the menu is delicious, literally. I ordered the rotisserie half chicken with the house special fried rice so so good. The best part is being able to save half for lunch the next day

Let me say, those leftovers taste so much better at work 😂

This place is always serving delicious food. The waiter that took care of us has been there for more than 20 years. Great service to the fullest. The only concern is the prices+ everything is blamed on covid, but it is the economy.

Really good food, best dish is the stuffed sole. Good mofongo, great tostones appetizer. If you don’t mind the bad bathrooms, I would come back. They do have a wheelchair accessible space the only down side is its in a more storage area so service is slower. Not all the staff are rude our second waiter was really nice the first older man was really rude.

Response from the owner

Customer service that's as consistently wonderful as the food is something that matters a great deal here, so my apologies that you were left with a different impression, Melissa. I'll absolutely be sure to address your concerns, so here's hoping that we can welcome you back soon for the true five-star treatment that I know this team can easily show you. -Nelson, Manager
