Rumba Cubana

The food was good. The breaded steak was alittle thick for my liking and needed alittle more seasoning but everything else was amazing! The environment is electric and the music makes me feel like I was at home having a family party!

Great quick lunch/dinner spot. Fantastic drinks. Good service. Great food at decent price. Not upscale but nice. Could be date night or family dining.

The service was excellent. It was the day before Mother's Day and very busy. There was a delay with our entrees, and it was immediately addressed by our waiter and the manager and they brought over complimentary appetizers for the inconvenience. I can't say enough great things about the level of service at Rumba Cubana and the food was excellent. It is amazing they have been able to remain consistent throughout l these years. Thanks again Rumba Cubana for an excellent dining out experience on our Mother's Day celebratory dinner.

Absolutely love this place, their food is always amazing and you can’t beat the prices of the daily specials. Nothing beats coming here and enjoying a good meal and wrapping it up with a warm coffee. Daniel Duque is an incredible waiter and always super attentive, I recommend asking for him when you can.

I’ve always enjoyed coming to Rumba Cubana, and the food has consistently been great. Unfortunately, my most recent experience changed that for me—and it had nothing to do with the food.<br>In the past, guests were able to park their own vehicles. However, it now appears that valet parking is mandatory. I’m simply not comfortable with someone else driving my car, and I believe customers should have the option to choose.<br>When I arrived, I parked my car properly within the lines. As I was getting out, a valet attendant approached me and told me I was not allowed to park on my own and that my car would need to be repositioned. The explanation given was that they park cars very close together to maximize space.<br>That raised a valid concern for me—if vehicles are parked so tightly that damage could occur, who is responsible? Unfortunately, that question went unanswered.<br>Because of this, I chose to leave. It’s disappointing, because I genuinely enjoy the restaurant, but I don’t feel comfortable being required to use a valet service.<br>I hope management considers allowing customers the choice to self-park or use valet, as not everyone is comfortable handing over their vehicle.

Everytime I come here, I say it’ll be the last time. However, it’s so convenient on a lazy day since I live a walk away.<br><br>THIS IS THE LAST TIME.<br><br>Everytime I come here, servings get smaller, good quality lessens, it’s awful. I ordered my food (chicharrón de pollo) after my daughter’s and my daughter had finished eating, so I asked for it to go. I get home and this portion was enough for my kid - not for a man (165 lbs, not an over eater and in great shape). This is what I always order and it literally looks like a mix of kids chicken tenders with Chinese chicken wings.<br><br>LAST TIME.

Awesome Food, service and atmosphere!

I’m originally from the sunny state of Florida, but while visiting New York I stayed near Rumba Cubana — and it instantly caught my eye. Looked like a great spot to stop in, and man, it really was. The service was great, the atmosphere was on point, the drinks were solid, and the food was even better.<br><br>If you’re in town visiting New York and staying on the New Jersey side, definitely check this place out. 100% worth it.

Wow! Incredible! I’m usually searching for the World’s Greatest Burgers & Beer joint…but I have an affinity for Cuban food. And holy smokes - Rumba Cubana hit the mark. Great food, great Service, all around EXCEPTIONAL.

Excellent service, and the food is delicious. The portions are huge! What a great experience. They have a full bar and their Millionaire Martini (dirty martini with stuffed blue cheese olives is delicious.

This spot is more intimate that the other locations that I’ve been to. Though the wait time was a bit long for me, I really didn’t mind since I wasn’t in a hurry. But besides that, the food and the service were great. This will be my new fave of all the locations.<br><br>We had the fried rice which came with the snapper- this was really nice, although I couldn’t eat it all. The sweet potatoes were also amazing, not greasy and the food wasn’t salty at all. The tropical salmon is always a favorite combined with the black beans and rice. The passion fruit sangria was well made, although my husband wanted something sweeter 😂. The tea capped a calming effect for me and I didn’t have space for dessert.
