My child and his 2 friends went to RC Cafe for lunch today (3 persons total) and were charged automatic 20% tip by the staff. When my child contacted me, I told him that, per cafe's policy, tips are automatically charged only for parties of 6 or more. When my child asked waiter to adjust the bill, waiter refused and stated that there is anew policy and 20% tip is now charged automatically regardless of the number of patrons. Is this really true?! This is blatant violation of policy and the abuse of minors, who are helpless in this sityation. Shame on you. You won't see me an dmy family in your place again and DCA complain will be filed shortly.

I just ordered a pastrami sandwich on a softy hero bread with pepper jack cheese they gave me pastrami with Swiss cheese on a roll without telling me anything when I went back he said I don’t have any more bread without even apologizing
I totally get the hype now. Quick service, generous portions, and delicious food. Took some pics of my food, but hubby ate his chicken sandwich before I could take a shot. He absolutely loved it too. We'll be back to try out more!
Great bakery if you are ever passing through. Stopped in a got a few cupcakes and a chocolate cannoli. Everything was delicious. Always a stop when in the area.
Very impressed. Its been a while since I've been here (5-7yrs). But glad I tried it again. Food was delicious, atmosphere was pleasant, and service was great. Pizza was quite impressive, and their rice ball was very good. No need to get parmigiana imo as rice ball has cheese inside already. Parking is tough during high volume times but there is a lot across the street next to the bank you can utilize.
top 3 best hoagie i’ve ever had. The cold cuts were sliced super thin which is a very important detail most places skip over. The peppers were fantastic with the fresh balsamic glaze that they give you on the side. I also loved that i could get up and get stuff from the bakery while waiting for the food to arrive at the table.
Pistachio donut was amazing! Cream cheese bagel & coffee was good. Only take out unless you get dine in service.
We’ve been here twice this week it’s so good. Gigantic hero sandwiches and so many baked goods and treats it’s hard to wrap your head around. They also have a full pre-made counter with pizza, pasta, salads, olives etc. This is a premier deli and if you’re on the Island it’s a much-see restaurant.
Still a very respectful place with d cent food and nice atmosphere. My only reason for 4, not 5 - no bloody mary served:)
We stopped here on a Saturday afternoon in October for some treats while traveling. The bakery was recommended by a bartender in Raleigh, NC, who we met on a different trip and he was from Long Island.

The parking lot was full when we arrived. We parked around the corner on the street. The line to order was backed out to the door but it moved pretty fast.

There is a lot of baked goods here. Having never been here before we weren’t sure what to try so we got a few cookies, a couple mini cannolis and a slice of cake to go. I only got a picture of the cake but you can see the cookies in the pictures of the displays I posted.

Everything was excellent. The cookies were my favorite. The carrot cake had a bit of orange flavor to it which was surprising but I really enjoyed it. Nothing was overly sweetened either which was nice.

Staff were friendly and fast moving. Their bakery products are in high demand from what we saw and after tasting them we understand why.

We don’t have many authentic bakeries at home so this was a wonderful treat for us.
This was my second time ordering from them. The first experience was great, which is why we decided to order again. Unfortunately, this time was disappointing—the bread was both burnt and soggy, and the sandwich overall was a big letdown.
MUST TRY!! We took the subway to the ferry and a 40 minute bus to try this restaurant and we weren’t disappointed! I can’t say better things about this establishment. First and foremost you must try the Fried Chicken Parm Sandwich 10/10.There was 6 of us and we were sat immediately, in and out within an hour. The owner was our waiter and he was excellent! Loved the atmosphere! Affordable, great portions, delicious and the best way to spend our first time in Staten Island ❤️
I've been coming here for years & firmly believe they have the best bagels on NYC. Their chocolate chip bagel in & of itself is so damn heavenly, you don't even need to put cream Cheese on it. It's chocolaty & soft all by itself.

They have a huge selection of breads & cakes to choose from. I tried the Olive bread which absolutely phenomenal. It's soft & airy with s ton of olives stuffed inside of it. Got a cake from here for my birthday as well. Staff is friendly & they work fast like a well oiled machine.
This bakery is always busy, been there several times and each time it is always crowded but everything I've tried is delicious and well cooked.

HOWEVER, one day, we decided to dine in because they were not that crowded back in December2024, we asked one of the waiter where we can get help to order, he strangely looked at us and said: he doesn't know and he is working there. Because he went to help another table. We waited about 5 to 10 minutes, one of the waitresses who were passing by, we asked her, and she helped us to get a table and took our orders. But honestly, the waiter or whatever his position is, the way he looked at us, was very unprofessional, and he is being selective on which people to assist there.
Since December, we have stuck to takeout.

The bakery offers a wide variety of fresh pastries, cakes, and cookies, including delicious cannoli and tiramisu.

I love their latte.
Tuna Hero, and grilled rib eye steak hero are my favs.
Stopped by for lunch today. Had a sandwich and a cannoli. Always good and would recommend this as a must if you ever come to the island.

This place is not just a bakery and has a range of food options.
