Foods is great. Been going here over 20 years but some guy that works there now is extremely rude. My husband ordered a few slices than added 3 more to the order seconds later and the man said I work 2 days a week I cant take that much work. Basically complaining that the place is making money. Nobody waiting behind us. Then when it got busy he just started screaming next like the soup Nazi. Now you have time? What's the deal brother? We have been loyal patrons longer than you've been there. Don't be a skootch.

Food:
Rosa’s is the kind of pizza place that makes it easy to over-order because so many of the slices are worth getting. The red Sicilian is one of the best examples. It has that thick, satisfying base with enough crispness underneath to keep it from feeling too heavy, and the sauce on top gives it the kind of bright, classic pizza flavor that makes the slice stand out. The Caesar slice is another favorite. When it is done right, it is honestly incredible. The warm base with the cool, crisp Caesar topping works better than it has any right to, and the dressing, cheese, and crunch make it feel like something you specifically go there for, not just a novelty slice. The vodka grandma is great too. The crust has that thin square bite, the vodka sauce brings a creamy richness, and the cheese pulls everything together without making it feel overloaded. Between the red Sicilian, Caesar slice, vodka grandma, and classic slices, Rosa’s has a lot of the kind of pizza that makes people loyal to a place.

Service:
Service is friendly, fast, and easy. Rosa’s has the kind of slices that are memorable without being overcomplicated. The red Sicilian, Caesar slice, and vodka grandma are all strong reasons to keep coming back.
You must have the upside down Sicilian slice or the Grandma slice. Perfect crust and sauce. Just delicious.
The best in everything! The people and the food is 100/10. I always order the alfredo pasta with chicken cutlet and spaghetti and meatballs, I feel like they’re 100x more better than the fancy italian resto’s Ive been to before. White pizza and garlic knots are amazing and chicken ceasar salad too. Highly recommended for people visiting maspeth. The prices are fair and the serving is outstanding.
02/10/2026 3:28pm Large pie & 2 chicken rolls. Not gonna let this little snafu change the fact that I've been coming here and Fresh Pond for the last 30+ years. Best pizza period. But get it together guys. No reason for my cheese to be on the box and missing from my slices. Still 5 stars!
Used to be way better, we got a pie and the pizza is too thick as you can see. Wings and garlic knots were also mid. Disappointing.
Awesome, unpretentious spot with excellent service, that has mastered both traditional and more inventive pizzas. Definitely one of my top 10 all time best plain slices, as someone who grew up in the city. Caesar slice was amazing too. Go before TikTok ruins it, but don’t tell anyone who doesn’t deserve to know.
Great Pizza & Service. Stacey is always smiling making the customers feel welcome and right at home. Truly a blessing coming here. Love the renovations!
Very tasty upside-down pizza. Lovely place with lots of different slices offered.
I live close to this pizzeria. But since my family rarely eats pizza, we never tried it. But yesterday we decided to try different foods at this cafe. There was plenty of seating in the cafe. There was a small line, but it moved quickly. None of the dishes were labeled, nor were there prices. I couldn't find a menu and had to ask about each dish, which is inconvenient. We ordered a spinach roll, a chicken roll, a slice of pepperoni, and a calzone with cheese. They also ordered tomato sauce. I love the calzone with cheese; it's very tasty. I rarely eat sauce, but this tomato sauce is very tasty. I also liked the other rolls. I didn't try the pizza, but my daughter said it was okay. The prices are average. The staff is polite. I recommend this
In from out of town and someone on my team took me here for a work lunch. Quick counter service and did not take took long to get our slices. We each had two pieces of the upside down Sicilian where the sauce is on top of the cheese. Crust was crunchy and not overcooked. Only thing that could have e made it better would have been to have some pepperoni’s or other toppings in the pizza. It was just sauce and cheese and I love to have toppings piled on. Overall, I enjoyed the food and would gladly come back.
High quality pizzería. Brand new place, comfortable seating. Friendly staff and ordering is made easy. Really great grandma slices. I didn’t enjoy the salad pizza but probably my fault for requesting it cold, it was chewy which made it hard to eat. I returned to try the pepperoni and grandma slices, I really enjoyed both. Diverse staff which is great, shows the business is for equal employment. The only pizza topping missing is grated cheese. Otherwise, I recommend.
Was excited to finally visit Rosa’s after passing by many times. The reviews galvanized me.

I had a slice of grandma’s & Margherita. Both were decent but nothing to rave about. Prices are reasonable and the location is next to the L.I.E

The place looks a bit worn down. The bathroom sink looks like it hadn’t been scrubbed in days. The menu items do not list the price?

I think management has neglected this place that may have once thrived. Some TLC may revive it…
Hidden gem in Queens! Phenomenal pizza, upside down sicilian, pasta dishes, veal, chicken, all authentic Italian and cooked to perfection! I was on vacation visiting a family member in Queens, stumbled across this pace and for the 4 days I was there, I ate there alone or with entire family 6 times! It's just that amazingly good! You need to go here and experience it for yourself!

The entire staff are friendly, the place is clean, the prices are extremely reasonable. This is a must stop at kind of place!
Read about their upside down pizza so drove 1 hour to try it. It is really good but can use more sauce towards the end of the pizza. Went at night so pizza was reheated, making it more crispy crunchy than would have liked. Ziti slice is generous with pasta portion, but felt it could be a bit thicker and more sauce also. Wish it were my neighborhood pizzeria, the drive and street parking off the expressway msne a return hard.
