The moment we walked into Reichenbach Hall, it felt exactly like stepping into an authentic beer hall in Germany. We ordered the Mixed Bratwurst plate, which comes with three excellent types of sausage: bratwurst, bauernwurst, and nürnberger würstel. Everything was incredibly flavorful. I especially loved the red cabbage and sauerkraut; it wasn’t overly tangy and had the perfect, delicious balance of sweet, savory, and salty notes. The beers were ice-cold and paired beautifully with the meal. To top it off, the service was excellent. A fantastic spot for great food and vibes!

Everything was great from the time we arrived. Friendly and Courteous service.
The servings are plentiful, flavorful, and well presented.
Manager John came to out table to check in with us and we enjoyed a wonderful conversation which shows that a fist here is more than just a dining experience...this show the friend/ brother/ family vibe with the staff.
Everyone here is a charm.
The Staff here at Reichenbach Hall are phenomenal. From the moment I came in, i was greeted with warm, friendly smiles and informative responses to any questions I had; as this was my first visit to a Bierhalle. With an extensive and comprehensive drink and food menu; this is the perfect atmosphere for everything from a family outing to a bar for watching your favorite pro sports teams. Thank you to Jack, who appeared to be managing; yet he provided excellent customer service and a few great jokes while supporting his staff and maintaining operations. I will certainly be returning in the future.
I came in and this place completely won me over. I ordered the beef with potato and beetroot, and it was unreal — the potato was crispy on the outside, buttery on the inside, done exactly right. The beetroot added this sweet, earthy balance that made every bite hit harder. You can tell the kitchen knows what it’s doing.
Service was next-level. Jack is a pro — sharp, interactive, and reads the room like a New Yorker reads the subway. No wasted moves, just efficient and personable. Guys like him are why you come back.
And let’s talk about the beer. They’ve got that insane 4-liter boot glass and it’s every bit as epic as it sounds. I’m already planning my next trip just to see if I can actually finish one. If you want a beer that’s both a drink and an event, this is it.
Bottom line: killer food, top-tier service, and the most ridiculous beer in Manhattan. This spot just made my regular rotation.
Inna is an absolutely fantastic waitress.
We were absolutely wonderfully taken care of. There is so much flavor and option in the menu, she helped guide our group throughout fantastic dinner!
I'm not a big one for taking pictures of my food that holy cow. This was one of the best meals I think i've ever had!
Visited here with friends after the Ingress First Saturday event at Bryant Park. I ordered a Radler and the currywurst with fries; the Radler was refreshing, and the currywurst was delicious. The staff were extremely pleasant and conscientious, too. All told, I wouldn't mind visiting here again!
We are visiting New York and wanted somewhere else to have a decent beer.
We saw a sign for this bar which was just down the road from our hotel.
We popped in, it is a pretty big bar with plenty of seating. With music playing to get everyone in the mood we were given the beer menu.
There was a great selection in various sizes.
We had to be good so just went fir a couple of pints, though we really wanted to order the 3L beer keg.
We really enjoyed the beer, gave a tip and left, satisfied 🍺
Little Sarita made us have the best experience. She made us feel very welcome. She had great suggestions. We will def be back. Its nice that our bartender gave us a nice experience. Im from Jersey and she made me feel at home.
I needed to get a shoe fitting at On Stage Dancewear and Dance Shoes. I was lucky enough to find a paid parking spot. SO i was like after the fitting, let eat at here a Germen Spot!!!!! I was so happy we did. They gave us a nice large round table. The atmosphere was great. I imagine I was in Europe (from BBC I watched). The food was great. Everyone like it and they are picky, even a vegetarian was good!! I got the huge pretzel. I wanted a huge beer but was going to a show afterwards, so I didn't want to have to got to the bathroom during the show. Next time. Anyway, if you are in the area, stop here for drinks and food. Much recommended.
What a great vibe! Lively, festive, and fun! The food was prepared better than we expected. The Bavarian pretzel was excellent. Soft on the inside and just the right crispiness on the outside. The Schnitzel was tender and crunchy. Not greasy at all. The 4 stars are only because the fries were soggy and the waitress brought our appetizer and dinner out at the same time. Otherwise, a great place to stop in for a cold beer, German food, and a great experience.
We got the Schweinshaxe and the Farmer's Bratwurst. Both were great. Schweinshaxe was crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside with the meat falling off the bone easily. Knodel was decent. The bratwurst was also good with a nice portion size and plenty of cabbage and mustard to go along. While the food deserves maybe 8/10 I would say the service is 10/10. We came at noon not aware they only start serving Schweinshaxe at 4PM so we told them we would be back at 4PM. When we walked back in at 4PM they instantly sent an order to the kitchen to begin preparing our Schweinshaxe. Very proactive service! Would recommend.
The atmosphere is definitely great as if I am in Germany. Great German beer and food. Food wise is decent, good portion. Overall good times here. Half chicken is tasty (bit on the salty side) but huge portion for one person. Street food style sausage is great if you are not looking for big meal. Great service from Sarita, and great mixed cocktail.
We came late on a Thursday. Can I just say… wow. The service was amazing. James was attentive and walking around checking on patrons. The waitress was checking in, perfect timing. The star was THE FOOD. And of course the drinks…. I’m more of a cocktail person, and for a “beer” place they did not disappoint! And we DID try a few cocktails, AND beers. You have to try the Sauerbraten! But don’t miss out on the potato pancakes either… honestly you can’t go wrong here. Even coming in after 9pm… the food and service were on point! Ask for Amanda… she is awesome.
After walking a tonne, we wanted a place to kick out feet up and get a good beer and we stopped by the Reichenbach Hall.

The location is super faithful to a Bavarian beer hall, with all the wood accents and biertisch. The servers were accomodating and gave us plenty of time to order, though flagging them down for seconds and some grub was taking some time, even with a handful of people in there.

We grabbed a Radler and a Hacker Pschorr Münchner Dunkel. Both were crisp and at a right temperature, not too cold that you can't taste anything and a beautiful pour.

We also got the Currywurst and the Brussel Sprouts. The sprouts are fantastic, with charred bits of onion and greasy enough to go well with the beers. The Currywurst was a bit lacking though. The sausage was a good flavor but the tomato curry was not too flavorful and the fries were not appropriately salted and not crispy but more of a baked texture.

All in all, a good place to grab a Stein and share a good chat with friends and family!
Walked in off the street because the 0oace looked cool. I did not expect to find a full German beirhaus near my hotel.

Just by sitting at the bar, I met Amanda, Fiona, Sherin, James, and Sarita all of them super-friendly. As a solo traveler, that means the world, so I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff here. They are wonderful.

The food is delicious. The German Mac and Cheese was exactly what I needed. The Black Forest cake (that I dived in to, so no photo...sorry! ) was also very good. Lots of choices to drink. As a cider fan, I genuinely enjoyed the cider they have on tap.

All in all, 5 stars and I highly recommended it. 🍻🍻
