Marcus was an amazing server. He was extremely kind and made us feel very welcome. He made sure we were happy with everything. He even taught our friend how to use chopsticks. He truly made our meal very enjoyable and pleasant one.

I had a fresh and enjoyable dinner at RA Sushi in Times Square last weekend. This lively Japanese spot has a modern, energetic vibe with bright lighting, sleek decor, and a fun atmosphere that fits perfectly into the bustling Times Square area.<br>I ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll and the Rainbow Roll — both were beautifully presented with fresh fish and perfectly seasoned rice. The crunchy shrimp tempura roll was also excellent, crispy and flavorful. We paired everything with their refreshing lychee martini and some edamame to start. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive despite the busy crowd.<br>It’s a solid choice for good-quality sushi and a casual night out right in the heart of the action. Visited after a Broadway show on 5/25. The food was fine. Our server was polite. But the experience left a bad taste in my mouth because of a very simple issue.<br>We ordered the strawberry lemonade specifically because the menu clearly marks it as a “bottomless drink.” The symbol is right there on the menu next to the lemonade.<br>When the bill came, we mentioned it to our server. He went to ask the manager, came back, and told us the manager said it was not bottomless.<br>So which is it? Is the menu inaccurate, or did management just decide not to honor what’s printed?<br>What frustrates me most is that this could have been handled so easily. A manager could have acknowledged the confusion, honored the refill, and moved on. Instead, it turned into one of those moments where we were dismissed over something that was clearly your restaurant’s mistake.<br>It’s not about the lemonade. It’s about the principle of advertising something and then refusing to stand behind it when a customer points it out.<br>Details matter. Accountability matters. Customer experience matters. Fix the menu or honor what it says.

Food was great! The atmosphere was fun and energetic. We went on a busy Saturday night, but the servers were awesome and on top of it.

Had such an amazing experience at Raw Sushi in Times Square, and I have to give a huge shoutout to our server, Chrystian. From the moment we sat down, he was incredibly polite, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. His personality made the whole experience even better—super friendly, upbeat, and clearly someone who takes pride in what he does.<br><br>He made great recommendations, checked in at just the right times, and created such a positive vibe at our table. You can tell he really cares about the guests having a great time.<br><br>Honestly, I hope if I come back, I get lucky enough to have Chrystian as my server again. Amazing service. Greeted immediately by Christopher and he was a funny guy with joke and a welcoming demeanor. Definitely treat you like a neighbor, Christian had great food recommendations and was quick to fill drinks. Highly recommend the vibes and the food and cocktails were phenomenal.

There’s a reason why this place is empty during lunch…the food is mid to below. The sushi itself is great and fresh. The actual food such as miso soup and chicken hibachi burrito don’t have much flavor. It’s deft a place that prays on tourists. The fried sushi rolls are so deeply enriched in oil that all you taste is fried not even the fish. The server was nice and super attentive. He’s really personable and passionate. It’s one of those places where you think cause it’s a franchise that has upscale pricing you’re getting amazing quality so you believe the food is gonna be great and you try to convince yourself the food is great when in reality it’s mediocre.

Was planning to see a show and knew my stomach would be growling if I didn’t get somethin in me before. Found this spot and had a wonderful dining experience before goin to the show with my theater tickets! The fish was incredibly fresh and high quality, you could really taste the difference right away. Cassidy was absolutely phenomenal, easily one of the best servers I’ve had anywhere. She was so so knowledgeable about the menu, gave thoughtful recommendations based on what we liked, checked in at the perfect times without ever hovering, and had such a warm like upbeat kind of energy that made the whole experience better and brought a little bit of sunshine to this rainy day. You can tell she really cares about her guests having a great time. Yasss I’ll definitely be coming back to eat and to see Cassidy again!

I was visiting New York and wanted to get some habatchi or sushi! This place is great because they had both. Everything I ate was so yummy. If you’re a lychee girl like me the sangria is actually better than the lycheetini. High prices but for sure worth it. The service is pretty good also, Bri was my server & she made sure I had everything I needed and gave great recommendations.

Today was my first time being there. I heard about it from a friend of mine and had to try it for myself. I brought a few friends and I must say the food was delicious!! I have never been much of a sushi fan but I can guarantee you this, everything from entree to dessert was amazing. Our server Marcus was professional in taking our orders and getting it right, which is rare with a larger crowd. He was professional, courteous, and as I like waiters to do, check back ever so often to make sure we were okay. It's not easy taking care of a larger table but he did an excellent job. Your restaurant is very fortunate to have him. I would definitely come back just to see his smile😊

Great location, just steps away from Times Square. The interior is stylish, and the red tones give the restaurant a really cool, vibrant atmosphere. The food was delicious and definitely worth trying — I would absolutely come back.<br><br>My only suggestion is about the music. The day I visited, there was a DJ playing, and while the music itself was good, I was expecting something a bit more in line with Japanese vibes — softer and more relaxing. The volume was also a bit too loud for my taste.<br><br>Overall, a great experience and a place I would definitely recommend.
