Amazing & phenomenal first experience at PS Kitchen.
We landed to NY, left the bags in the hotel and went straight to Ps Kitchen for dinner around 10pm. Glad they are open until late.

Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff. Shoutout to Luna our host, server, bar tender.. she was doing it all👏👏
As for the menu, the vegan food was spectacular. Everything was fresh, packed with vibrant flavors, and clearly made with care. Our order: Lasagna, chik'n pot pie, crab cakes (delicioso)
When it came time for the sweet course, I was a bit torn, but the server gave some great suggestions for dessert that hit the absolute spot. You can tell they really know and love the menu they are serving.
Tiramisu... a must must try! You will come back for more! Kudos to the chef🤌👏

A totally amazing experience from start to finish. Incredible food, great vibes, and hospitality.

My daughter is 11 and vegetarian. When we say down, she was by far the youngest patron. The waiter asked right away, looking at her, you do know this is a vegan restaurant?

But we don't have a lot of strictly vegetarian restaurants near us. So this was amazing that she could order anything and everything on the menu.

The food itself was delicious with fresh ingredients. It's nice to have healthy food when you're traveling. For the quality and the fact we were in New York, I felt the pricing was reasonable. It arrived quickly and we were on time for our show.

The restaurant was clean, but worn. Buttons popping off the seats and getting upstairs was tricky.

Despite the number of tables our waiter had, he was quick and didn't make us wait.

Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you're here for a show or in the area.

Response from the owner

Glad you enjoyed yourself! We also knew it was time to replace the upstairs booths and are happy to report our new chairs arrived today that will serve as replacements. Thanks for taking the time to review us and for the support! Hope to serve you again soon! - Jeff

I had the best dining experience at this lovely restaurant. I took the train to NYC to see a musical and had an exasperating time with the late train!

The moment I sat in the theater things settled down. Ending the day with a dinner at PS Kitchen was perfect.

The service was outstanding! The waiter made sure to pick out the perfect wine to go with my meal. The hostess suggested the best dessert and even shared their house made vegan Cream Whiskey with me. Both were amazing! (I am sorry I don't remember their names-I suck at remembering those details!)

I had the spinach and artichoke dip for an appetizer, the Linguine Fini with the Alfredo sauce, and the tiramisu with coffee (with the cream whiskey) for dessert. The portions were very generous! I nearly had to be rolled to the train station because I was so full!

I highly recommend eating here when you visit NYC!

That was truly an amazing evening and we tried first time vegan food was soo good! . Luna was incredibly kind and attentive, helping everyone in the restaurant ( bussing tables, hosting guests, cleaning, managing online orders, or preparing delicious drinks). She maintained such positive energy the entire time, and my husband and I were genuinely wondering how she manages it all so effortlessly.
. Everything was wonderful, and the chicken pot pie was absolutely delicious. Drinks was soo good!

Incredible to find a fully vegan and not-for-profit restaurant in this location!

We came without a reservation at 5.45 pm on weekday and they were able to seat us at the bar. Maybe my expectations of the food were too high, but we all enjoyed it for sure. I would just say the choice of music could be better.

The server asked us immediately if we understood the menu was vegan and whether we were seeing a show. Between 2 people, we split the Smoked Tofu Spinach Salad and Sweet Potato Fries with a side of BBQ sauce.

Hands down the most flavorful tofu we had ever had. We wished we hadn’t ordered the fries—not because they weren’t delicious—but because we couldn’t finish.

If I had any negative — the lighting was so low that I almost felt sleepy.

They made sure we received the food promptly with time to eat and pay the bill before making it to our evening show on time.

As we paid, we noticed that the bill indicated the restaurant operates as a nonprofit. What a pleasant surprise!

Amazing and phenomenal. Fresh ingredients, upscale vibe with casual staff, tasty food. I got the sweet chilli Maitake Wings and truffle fries. The prices match the portions in my opinion. Don’t be afraid to splurge a bit if cash is tight, you might even have leftovers.

PS Kitchen honestly surprised me in the best way. The vegan food isn’t just “good for vegan”—it’s genuinely delicious. Everything we ordered was full of flavor, satisfying, and beautifully prepared. You can tell they really care about what they’re serving.

The service is just as impressive as the food. Pedro is the best—attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming. Luna and Fernando were also wonderful, and the entire staff creates such a friendly, positive atmosphere.

It’s one of those places where you feel cared for from the moment you walk in. Highly recommend!

Perfect place to eat before or after a show! The chicken pot pie is absolutely comfort food, and so delicious. Friendly service (super appreciated being asked about our show time) and the food arrived quickly. We will be back!

A group of 5 of us traveled into NYC to see a show and being a mix of vegans and vegetarians, we decided to try P.S. Kitchen for lunch before the show, great choice and great food.

I ordered the P.S. Burger which consisted of a Beyond Burger, queso, lettuce, tomato and red onion, Thousand Island dressing on a pretzel bun, with a side of fries. The burger was fantastic, loved all the flavors. The fries were not hot, so thumbs down for that.

My partner ordered the Thai Chicken Sandwich with Crispy Chicken glazed in Sweet Thai Chili Sauce, lettuce, tomato, red onion, mayo on a pretzel bun, with fries. He loved the crispy chicken sandwich.

Our friends ordered the Smoked Tofu Spinach Salad, the Crispy Caesar Wrap and the Thai Chicken Sandwich loving all the food.

For desert two of us ordered the Tiramisu and the Carmel Apple Cheesecake. Both deserts were a hit.

Service is attentive and a large help with the menu.

Overall, great plant based food.

While staying in a Times Square hotel, my wife and I decided to try out P.S. Kitchen for dinner on a friend’s recommendation. It was a good choice—fortunately the restaurant’s interior (we sat upstairs) was no reflection of it’s food, the former being bland and the latter flavorful. We started with an order of the ‘Crabby Cakes’—normally I’m not a fan of plant-based food that pretends to be meat; however, these delicious apps were better than some crab cakes I’ve had that have been made from real crab meat. The texture was similar to crab, and the flavor enhanced by a lemony zing. I followed this dish with a bowl of the Colombian Potato Soup, which was served up in a classy fashion, the waiter setting down a bowl containing some red onion, jalapeño, fresh lime, avocado, and micro greens, and ladling the soup on top. It was a tasty precursor to my main dish—the Beyond Burrito, without the Beyond Meat (instead they increased the amount of the other ingredients). This was a bountiful dish consisting of a stuffed flour tortilla cut in half and bursting with black bean salsa, fresh-tasting rice, mixed greens, and tomato. It was by no means an authentic Mexican burrito, but it wasn’t trying to be—it’s taste was original; this burrito was a product of the vegetable garden, boasting a fresh flavor offered up by the addition of the garden greens and spices (cilantro?). I gobbled it up. For dessert, I ordered a cup of decaf and the Triple Noir—a chocolaty pastry with a glazed exterior and smooth, moussey interior and sliced strawberries on the side. P.S. Kitchen is a great place to grab a plant-based bite before a Broadway show.

Great vegan spot in the Theater District. I had been here a couple of years ago and ate at the bar before checking out a show.
This time I went after seeing a show. The restaurant wasn’t busy so we were seated right away. The waitress was friendly and explained the menu to us. We ordered the Smokey bbq burger, Chicken caeser wrap and sweet potato french fries. We also ordered the hummingbird cake and peach cobbler to go.

The burger was delicious. It was a little messy, with the bbq sauce but it had great flavor. My Mom is not vegan and she loved the wrap. She was only able to eat half and took the rest to go. We shared the sweet potato fries. I was happy they were shoestring and not steak fries. They had a good crispness to them on the outside but still soft inside.

We got our desserts to go. The peach cobbler was yummy. The peaches were seasoned well and the crumble was tasty. My mom is still talking about the hummingbird cake so it was delicious.

I definitely recommend this spot if you are in Times Square.

Decent vegan place in a busy area with like limited other vegan options nearby. They serve alcohol and food was decently tasty. Friendly service but nothing more. Recommended but no need to go out of your way to come here. Caesar salad was tasty (I added vegan “chicken”).
