A great dinner with amazing food. I loved everything we got: starting from the potato pancake, going to the Pranakhon Pad Thai, following with the Short Rib Mussaman, finishing with the Crispy Duck Green curry.
Food was tasty, delicious, even if slightly spicy.
Service was great and quick (it felt a little like they want for customers to leave quickly).
Atmosphere is good when looking at the design, but terrible with the acoustic: we could barely talk with each other for how loud it was. However, food was so good that it was worth the uncomfortable noise.

Loved our experience at Pranakhon. The restaurant itself is beautiful and feels inspired by Thailand, with charming decor and a warm atmosphere that adds to the experience.

Food was delicious and authentic. We especially enjoyed the vegetarian options, from the fresh rolls and curry to the noodles and Thai iced coffee. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and packed with flavor.

Big shoutout to Nat for the exceptional service. Professional, warm, and attentive from start to finish. Service like that always makes a meal more memorable.

Would definitely come back
Dangerously delicious! high potential for repeated visits and more Michelin stars ⭐️
Every single dish we had was spectacular. Couldn’t stop eating. The showstopper was the whole fish. Incredibly tasty and fresh. The noodles were super satisfying. I can keep on going. Service is very efficient and fast. The cocktail menu is just as exciting - loved my Green Forest cocktail. It is a loud and colorful space by design - harkening to streets in Bangkok and the street vibe and foods. If you are a fan of Thai and Asian food - this is a treat!
Wonderful experience and DELICIOUS food!!! Best pad Thai I’ve had. The crispy duck was a personal favorite of mine.

We had reservations and were glad we made them! We ate at 4:30 - a very early dinner, and there was already a line outside when they unlocked their doors.
One of the top classic Thai restaurants in the city and best in the neighborhood. Still very affordable, we were seated in a mezzanine booth this time, place was packed. The dishes all came out at once filling the entire table, then not much interaction from the wait staff. The crispy belly, ribs, curries were all fantastic with good amount of heat.
Fantastic spot for authentic Bangkok-style street food with a lively atmosphere. The hostesses were incredibly accommodating despite our late arrival and the restaurant being busy truly appreciated.

Our server, Ben W., was excellent and guided us to great choices. Drinks (Ga Run and Sci Fa) were a perfect start. Appetizers like the Larb Gai Grob, Curry Pancake, and Moo Grob Kua were all flavorful and well executed.

For mains, the Crab Fried Rice was the standout definitely a must-order, alongside the Khao Soi Haeng and Green Curry. Dessert-wise, the coconut cake was light and delicious, while the pudding had great flavor but an off texture, eating it with a folk didn’t help either..

Overall, great food, great service, and definitely worth a visit!
Highly recommended! The fish dishes are must-try. Crab rice was good! Service was amazing (and definitely looking for their recommendations if you have never been there before). Sundae was made of corn, peach and sticky rice with coconut ice cream. Big bite would be enjoyed. Great treat if you walked whole day. Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee are both good for spicy foods while I do see many people who come here often order cocktails (from I have observed)
Also I usually do not enjoy sitting on the bar and this time I would say the people who serve on the bar make this experience great!
There were so many options it was hard to choose. We got the pad thai and mussaman short ribs. Both were delicious. The short ribs were very tender with a nice sauce. The pad thai was also really tasty and had a fun presentation. Although, it was not the best pad thai I have ever had. Looking around at other tables’ orders, the presentation of many dishes looked really good. For a popular place, the restaurant was huge and had plenty of seating, so there was hardly any wait time during a busy hour.
Pranakhon was an amazing forray into Thai Street Food Cuisine! Everything was so flavorful and tasty! The energy and atmosphere is infectious and fun. Highly recommend!
I came here with two others on a very cold Saturday in early February for lunch at 12:30pm. We made the reservation a few days in advance. The restaurant was very lively and seemed mostly full but I did see open tables and space at the bar. I would generally recommend a reservation.

We were seated in the upstairs dining area which is less open feeling than the main floor dining area. Overall, the restaurant has a great vibe and decor. The servers we had were mostly attentive and nice, but they didn’t outwardly seem concerned whether not you had a good experience. The food we ordered all tasted somewhere between mediocre and good. The portion sizes were pretty reasonable.

I wouldn’t resist going back to this restaurant, but I likely wouldn’t seek it out again.
Pranakhon has amazing service, food and drinks! They have seasonal cocktail menus- so I ordered (from the winter menu) a boozy thai iced tea which was delicious. I also ordered the Pranakhon pad thai and it was so yummy. There wasn’t any excessive oil in this dish- it had an assortment of fresh ingredients on top that you can mix in yourself. The mung beans, peanuts, and soft scrambled egg on top were the highlight. Also- the food came out in less than 8 min! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy night inside and in need of some comfort food.
So good. All the food hit. Not too oily or salty, but strong flavors and good spice. Underrated starters were the curry pancakes. They had an Indian profile and the sweet sauce on the side paired so well either way it. Khao soi was a dry dish which was interesting. Steak was cooked to perfection.

Service was fantastic. Server came up periodically to refill in the water. She was present but never pushy despite the long line of people waiting for weekend dinner.

Interior vibes are cool and take me to Thailand.
I absolutely loved this place. From the moment I walked in, it genuinely felt like being back in Thailand. The staff were dressed like Thai motorbike taxi drivers, which was such a fun and authentic touch.
They were also very friendly and welcoming.
I ordered the Tom Yum Goong (shrimp) and sweet basil minced pork, both at Thai spicy level, and they were perfect-bold, aromatic, and truly authentic. The spice level was real Thai spicy, not toned down at all. No wonder this restaurant has been recognized by the Michelin Guide.
The atmosphere was great, free Wi-Fi was available, and even the restroom was impressively clean and well maintained.
Every detail, from the food to the ambiance, made me feel like I was dining in Thailand.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Thai food in New York.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pranakhon NYC

I went on a Wednesday night and the place was pretty busy, but there’s plenty of seating so it still felt comfortable. The decor is cute and the space works really well for group dinners 😊.

I ordered a Thai iced tea and it was delicious. The Pad Se Ew with chicken was the standout for me, super flavorful and comforting 🍜. I also had a brisket curry with chickpeas that was rich, cozy and perfect for a chilly evening.

The food came out very fast, which I appreciated, though I did feel a bit rushed. Overall, Pranakhon has great energy, tasty dishes and a warm atmosphere. Definitely a spot I’d go back to with friends 🍛✨
It’s a two-story restaurant that’s absolutely gorgeous, but the tables do feel a little smushed together, which I didn’t love. That said, the place was packed - practically every table was full - yet the service was impressively quick. We barely waited for our food despite how busy it was. I would highly recommend getting a reservation and being on time for it, as they do give the table away if you're late.

For the size of the space and people it holds, I definitely think the restroom situation isn't handled well, as I saw a line outside the restroom pretty much all the time I was there.

For food, I tried the curry pancakes and the fried chicken, both of which were really good. For my main, I played it super safe with a red curry, but it did not disappoint in the slightest. It was spicy, and comforting, basically a warm hug in a bowl. I also had some of the crab fried rice, and the portion was surprisingly generous for a “small" size.

I loved the food here and honestly can’t wait to come back and try more.
