I come here for Kimbap all the way from Jersey City. The owner is very hospitable. Sometimes all you need for lunch is a simple meal - the Kimbap here is packed and delicious.

They are so kind and prepared the food so fast. Highly recommend for people who want to eat some convenient food while working or who want to try authentic Korean kimbap.
I am really happy that I stumbled upon this place. It’s small but does have seating and the vibe is bright. The woman working the front (I believe owner?) was absolutely lovely and welcoming. The food was fresh, flavourful, and filling. The food is also at the perfect price point. This place proves good Korean food doesn’t have to break the bank. Will definitely be back.
Have been meaning to stop by here and finally did on my lunch break today! I got the bulgogi bowl and everything tasted fresh - from the banchan, veggies, and meat. The mushrooms are my favorite and they make their own kimchi which is a nice touch! Love the fact that it’s ran by a mother and son duo. Very adorable ❤️
If I could give this place a 6 out of 5 stars I WOULD!! Not only is this food healthy but it is DELICIOUS! I got the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl and I am not exaggerating when I say it was some of the best chicken I have ever had. And the server hooked me up with heaping piles veggies which added to the deliciousness and flavor profiles. You are doing yourself a disservice if you never go to this place. And to top it all off the customer service is amazing! Super friendly and loves to explain how all the ingredients are prepared (tip: ask how the kimchi is made :) ). Cannot wait to come back here
I’ve been going to this location since their grand opening and I really appreciate them becoming available. It’s a great place to get diet friendly meals. You can get your carbs, protein, and veggies all in one delicious meal. The service is great with friendly staff and quick service. If you’d like to make a vegan or vegetarian version of the bowls, you are able to do so. During a busy day at the office or on the go, this is an amazing place to grab some fresh food.
Super nice workers, i cannot recommend this place enough. It’s run by a mother and son, and they are incredibly welcoming. They make you feel comfortable right away and take the time to explain all the dishes. The owner even checks with you to make sure it’s okay to add certain vegetables/kimchi to your bowl.

The kimbap is huge and very filling. I will definitely be coming back. Everyone should come here! The food is extremely filling for great prices! I truly can’t stress this enough. They make you feel like family.

Got the spicy pork bowl and bulgogi kimbap! 10/10 also milkis drink is always delicous
I love this place! The bulgogi beef bowl is the best around. Generous portions, freshly made kimchi and SO many authentic toppings. And the best part is they’re FAST in a crowded lunch area for work. Small size bowl option makes it nice for a craving if you’re not starving too. Yum!
Update: I can confirm this is still the best chicken and rice in the area! Super fresh, high quality, and zero gristle!!! They also make the best spicy mayo ever 😍

—————————

A new hidden gem in FiDi! The Chicken Teriyaki is fantastic, fresh, excellent quality, and cooked to perfection. Delicious rice too! Silvia and her son are amazing & it’s clear why the food tastes like a home cooked meal!

P.S. Definitely get a side of spicy mayo sauce! 🙂
Love this cute Korean hole in the wall that's nestled in the heart of FiDi. The owner was so warm and caring to us, and made sure that we were satisfied with our food. She seemed genuinely passionate and excited about the cuisine even as she was serving us. I will definitely come back here for a quick bite.
What a find. I was on my way to my usual spot in fidi when I happen to pass this place. I think they're new?

- super fresh ingredients
- happy and helpful staff
- must go find and talk to Silvia (speaks English, Korean AND Espanol!)

I'll be back soon to try your other bowls 🍚
This bowl was actually quite amazing. The bulgogi meat was very tender and seasoned to an extra degree. The spices were very pungent and strong and the aroma added an extra flair to it all. Even reheated and cold stilled seemed as good as it would be fresh because let me tell the amount of calories that I received from this one bowl made up for a full day of fasting and working out. I actually found this place randomly on some corner of the block and I’m glad I stumbled onto it because the low key food areas are the best to explore. They offer unique perspectives and personalities into the world of food and best of all I never expect what is to come. The menu itself was somewhat basic and there selection of drinks wasn’t the best but the service I received in regards to the food as well as the introduction to an Asian cuisine I had never seen actually changed my whole opinion and made my world just a tad bit bigger. The portions they had wasn’t the best considering the prices since it’s only a small and large bowl and they offer other items other then bowls but not so much that it’s got its own spot more of an appetizer to the main meal. They did give me a generous 20% discount when I told them I do google maps reviews of places such as this and for the most part they listen pretty well at what the customer asks for. The woman that works there is pretty fluent with English and knows how to communicate well. The food was actually made fresh and well preserved and the meal time came down to a matter of seconds all though when I sat down to eat the actual bowl I couldn’t finish it one sitting which actually made me bump up the rating even more.
I’ve stopped by at this lovely Korean restaurant twice this week. As a native Korean, living in New York City for 12 years, this is the best spot for kimbab and their rice bowls (I promise you).

I don’t really write reviews so I wanted to really take time writing this - hoping that this restaurant will get more customers and attraction. So here I am, uploading a photo of my amazing Shiba pup that also wants their kimbab (I promise my pup didn’t eat the kimbab).

The owner here is absolutely amazing and packs your bowls with their homemade kimchi and extra side dish. The Korean food here tastes so authentic, reminded me of home.

I’ll definitely be back again (maybe with my Shiba pup).

P.S. If you’re having a hard time finding this spot, there might be construction going on the street so look behind the signs/ fences.
I loved how healthy and quick and easy this korean take out is. The owner Silvia and employee Nelso were so welcoming and kind. She explained everything. We ordered a melon Korean milk drink. Delicious. We ordered the kimchi and beef mandu dumplings. The kimchi was the best 👌. So fresh, good flavor. The side dishes were fresh and tasty. The Kimbap rolls were delicious. I ordered the pork and beef. Best Ive had in NYC. Tender meats and fresh ingredients. My spicy pork bowl was fantastic. I loved everything morsel. Big portions too. So many fun korean snacks to try next time. Will definitely be back.
I happened to walk by this place and decided to give it a go— great decision, because Power Bowls is amazing! I ordered the spicy pork kimbap and the bulgogi kimbap. While I waited for the food, I got to chat with the owner. She seems so sweet and was very welcoming, letting me know about the specials and ability to text ahead if you need to pick up your order in a hurry. The restaurant itself is bright and cheery, and has plenty of good snacks to buy as well. Food was ready quickly, tasted extremely fresh and delicious~ I loved both so much and will definitely be back to try out the bowls as well and the weekly specials :) this place is a hidden gem and I’d definitely recommend you check it out.
