Called for a delivery for my grandmother who can’t leave the house by herself. We live 7 minutes away from the restaurant (by bike) and they said it’s too far and can’t make it. Will never order from here again.

The meal is wonderful the service is great.
Everything there is always tasty and well cooked. Well, prepared presented well. The only thing I can complain about or maybe hope they change a bit is sometimes the young lady in the front and all the waiters seem to have an attitude. But overall, there, good prices are a bit higher than they were about a year ago.But what can you do?Food's always good lots of it.I'll recommend eating there. If you have an opportunity
The food is very delicious and the atmosphere is nice. Unfortunately, our experience was affected by the service. The waiter, Jeisson, rushed us from the moment we arrived, showed a bad attitude, and at one point made us feel like we needed to leave the table.

What bothered me the most was that while I was in the restroom, he made an inappropriate comment about my partner, calling them “very intense.” That is unprofessional and unacceptable. I still left a tip, but the service did not match the quality of the food.
Of all the Pollos Marios, this one is my favorite. Service is great, food done perfectly, Sangria A+. Updated the menús photos. Highly recommend.
Used to both eat in person and order from them and the food and service has always been good. However who ever is answering the phone now is absolutely rude. I understand if the restaurant no longer wants to deliver where I'm located but rudely telling me no they never did and have no record in a nasty tone is wild. I told them its strange that they said they never did. If decided they dont anymore that is fine and could have said that. But the woman on the phone needs to learn how to speak to people and work on her attitude. No lie I am tempted to go in person to now to tell her how to speak to people. Change your staff so you don't lose another customer.
Pollos Mario, located in Woodhaven, NY, offers a straightforward dining experience, particularly suited for a casual family meal. Upon entering, the ambiance is quite pleasant, providing a nice setting for enjoying their Latin American fare.

The food at Pollos Mario is generally okay for its price, offering a decent value for what you pay. The serving sizes are quite generous, which is a definite plus, ensuring everyone leaves satisfied. We also enjoyed the alcoholic drinks, which were commendably strong and a good complement to the meal. However, one notable point of contention was the green sauce; despite asking for more, it seemed to be rationed as if it were "liquid gold," which was a bit frustrating.

From a practical standpoint, finding parking around Pollos Mario can be quite challenging, so it's advisable to plan accordingly. On the positive side, the restaurant does accept credit cards, offering convenience for payment.

In summary, Pollos Mario provides a reasonably priced option for a family meal with good serving sizes and strong drinks, set in a nice ambiance. While the green sauce policy was a minor drawback and parking can be difficult, it remains a viable choice for those seeking a casual dining experience in Woodhaven.
Great atmosphere... We were seated on the sidewalk area, which opened up to the main dining area. It was warm, so no complaints there. We ordered some drinks, and the portion sizes on their plates left us with takeout. The Bandeja Paisa was excellent, the fried pork was super crunchy while my wife had their chicken platter, with soup and salad.
The food is delicious and the portions are huge. My son and I shared a guacamole app which was so good. You can get it with chips or tostones and we shared the churrasco steak plate and it was literally enough for three people (we had a whole portion we took home)and it was delicious. Subbed out the potatoes for Maduros and they were left in one piece sliced in half lengthwise so it was all cooked perfectly
Colombian food is comfort food... It's a lot, so come prepared to eat or take it home. We had a huge bday party here, 20+ folks. It took 90min or so to sit us. Dealing with large parties is tough, but the staff was up to it. Once drinks and apps orders were taken, we had to decide what our entrees are, the menu has a lot of choices, look closely and you will notice that almost all the prices have been modified, if this is a common occurrence, switch to an online menu instead, scan a QR code and get the menu with the right prices, some of the menus has different prices for the same plates, they also had specials on separate menus... We ordered successfully and then the wait. We got our salads, if you share you only get one salad, maybe have a share cost and you get salad and rice and beans for two?

The kid orders came 1st this was a smart suggestion by the staff... Our orders trickled in soon thereafter, surprisingly, no issues, no send backs. Food was hot and we were hungry.

The food was on point, everyone enjoyed their food. Since we were celebrating a bday, they handled the cake for us and sang us a song.

We gotta go back here, it was packed, but I am sure we can fit smaller party without too much issue. Worth going!
This place looked nice as we drove thru queens, and we were hungry so we decided to stop, the food was good, the service friendly and I enjoyed it although I had better bit definitely worth another shot at it, so I will come back to try different choices
We had a fantastic time at this restaurant last evening. The food service and atmosphere were all great. If you're looking for an authentic Colombian restaurant experience, don't pass up the opportunity to visit Pollos Mario. You won't regret it. We found a jewel of a restaurant right in the heart of Queens NY.
Gone here to eat on May 12, 2022 with my friend. Good place to eat with family and friends. My dinner was very delicious. The portion was huge. This was enough for two people. The waiter wonderful. When crowded can be a bit under staff. This place gets very crowded for dinner. Been here about five times. Will definitely come again to eat. Thank you for a good dinner!
This place is pretty good. Service was friendly and a but under staff. The portions were huge and would try again. If you have 4 or more people, there's no need to order the same dish. Try ordering different dishs to share and mix it up.
The wait for a table is long but the food is great. The price are affordable. There is not a big drink selection but the drinks are strong. But the food is very good and the portion are big. The atmosphere is very family oriented.
