Playa Betty's is the best birthday place. Melissa (host) and Erin (waitstaff) are warm and wonderful. Thanks for making my day super special.

Stopped by Playa Betty last night before a show around the corner at the Beacon and was surprised it took me this long to discover the place.<br><br>Weather was perfect enough to sit outside as we enjoyed not just our meal, drinks and the awesome sights and sounds of New York City, but also the amazing service and ambiance.<br><br>Our server was the best and she and the team made sure we were out in time for our show around the corner but not before we tried the buffalo cauli bites (perfect), we each did a taco dinner platter and loved every taco we had, but also had a spicy margarita that was a little too spicy for me.<br><br>Everyone was having a great time and I hear they do happy hour and play the games. Will definitely have to swing back by for a World Cup match. New neighborhood favorite discovered. See you again soon team!

It was really good maybe not completely Mexican but you can’t never go too wrong sticking to corn as a main ingredient. I loved the food I had two tacos, carne asada and Mexican short rib. the sauce was a little overpowering but next time I’ll get it without it. Overall I loved the environment, I got really nice recommendations from my server Emily, I got a little messy with my salsa and chips and she rushed to help me and handed me a wipe to clean myself very quickly. Is nice area as well I recommend to go for a walk right after

Third time coming here and always impressed with the food, service and, overall vibe. Our server, Justin, was awesome and really took care of us even though it was crazy busy. Happy hour is also worth coming for.

Great experience overall! Sam was an amazing server! She was friendly, attentive, and made the meal even better. The food was delicious too. I’ll definitely be back!

I recently took from my first trip to New York and during this trek I came across Playa Betty's and our amazing bartender, Alexis! I am a west coast fan, so walking into Betty's was like being home! Great atmosphere, an amazing happy hour ($9 Betty's Margaritas and $5 Betty's Burgers), and did I mention, our wonderful bartender, Alexis?<br>I will definitely visit New York again, and I will definitely visit Playa Betty's again for Happy Hour!

Surprised (in a good way!) by the Street Mexican corn on the cob - a first for me!<br>Paired perfectly with the mushroom tacos, which were super flavorful and nicely made.<br>As a vegetarian, i got what I wanted.<br>Would definitely go back and recommend.

Sam was wonderful! Her food recommendations were incredible and so was the food! We will definitely come back !

I must say we went to Playa Betty's for 1 of my Sistha's Circle Candy's Birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈. The food was great and Jordan F.... was the host with the most. He made sure we had everything we needed. It was my first time but it won't be the last time!!!! Yasss Jordan did the damn thing.

A perfect brunch spot 🩷 It’s fun and pretty, and the food is absolutely delicious. Mikayla was our server and was incredible. We love her!!!

This is a cute casual place. It kinda is a beach theme, but also has movie posters. It’s a little corny but it’s a nice laid back vibe and the service is excellent. Everyone was so friendly and the food came out fast. Food is expensive for the portion size but it was tasty. The Coca Cola short rib tacos were excellent. On the small side but the meat was super flavorful and sweet from the cola, very tender. The fish tacos were okay, pretty soggy and not very crispy. Def get the cola taco if you come here! Nice to go to before or after a show at the beacon theater. I also like how they give complimentary chips, and the chips were very good, salty but not too salty.

Anthi is an incredible server, so kind and attentive! Loved the food as well got the Mexican street corn and some drink with the southern girl 10/10! Definitely recommend.

Playa Betty’s is such a fun and lively spot!<br>The food is fresh and flavorful —<br>the tacos are delicious CHICKEN TINGA ENCHILADA , the chips and Austin style queso are a must. Churros is delicious too<br><br>The vibe is casual and upbeat, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. A great place to hang out with friends and enjoy good Mexican food!

Mikayla and Al did a fantastic job and made our evening at Playa Betty’s really special.<br>They were kind enough to treat us to a horchata rice pudding, which was super delicious.<br>The fish tacos and shrimp tacos are a must try and tasted incredibly fresh.<br>The chips were warm and perfect and the drinks were delicious.<br>Thank you Mikayla and Al for the great service and a wonderful experience.

Sharlene was excellent. I got a restaurant often and I hardly ever see the amount of service and attention to detail like I saw at your restaurant. She deserves a raise. I don’t think Reyes would do her justice. Just make her a manager because I think everybody at your restaurant should move and act like she does. She is well trained, and I appreciate her greatly
