The empanadas were delicious. Ceviche I give 7/10.
I love Peruvian food and visited other Peruvian restaurants. only thing is HEADS UP THEY charge an automatic 18% gratuity fee. Which was insane because it was only me and my husband. According to this automatic charge this only applies to parties of 6 or more. Won’t be coming back when I can go to a way better place and not be obligated to pay gratuity.

The lunch special of quarter chicken and your choice of fries/yucca/platanos ($15.50) comes with a really fresh salad including avocado, and their crispy tender chicken really hit the spot! Great atmosphere with lovely music and a pretty space. Would love to be back.
This is a Peruvian restaurant chain I did not know before visiting this location. We went there for an early dinner / late lunch with a group of colleagues (who know The Bronx well). The outside of the restaurant does not really draw attention. It is next to a few other businesses in a typical street in the Bronx, Inside it is a nice, family style restaurant that invites for true dining.
The service was fast and friendly. We started with an opener of fried calamari to share. One of my colleagues took a dish with shrimp in an excellent yellow sauce (Camarones Cuzco). He was very pleased with both size and taste.
Our other colleagues went for chicken. (which is one of the specialties) and all 3 of them were very happy with their choice.
I had the Lomo Saltado, which was simply superb. The meat was excellent quality and the dish was prepared with a nice tasty combination with good size onions/ tomatoes and fries. I finished with an espresso , Very good tasty dinner. Recommended if you are in the area.
The food was phenomenal, so much so that I forgot to take pictures hahaha.

My group of six ordered the Matador combo which was a total of 76$, and a Lomo Salteado. Our bill came out to approximately 178$.

The chicken, immaculate, the salad was crisp... the tostones crispy, and the maduros sweet. At first glance the meager amount of rice and beans they serve is a bit ridiculous if you're a big backn but split evenly among everyone in my group, everyone was satisfied nonetheless. The chicken was tender, juicy and seasoned to perfection. The lomo was cooked perfectly medium, juicy and delicious.

Overall I will come here again. Wishing many blessings to the business owners, so that the may continue providing such great food.
Me and my wife was going to eat here as a romantic date I always saw it from the outside in. After all that I decided to do a order to pick from door dash I went inside through some long curtains the place looked ok nothing special a little small. Now the food was packed well but didn't have much flavor.
I literally love thos location sm, the food at any pio pio is super good! but the food and service was super good! Highly recommend
Honestly, this place being walking distance to my apartment is the best discovery I’ve made since moving here 2 years ago. Their ceviche is incredible, but the Chupe Camarones?! THE CHUPE CAMARONES?! That’s one of the top 5 best bowls of soup I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve been thinking about it ever since. Service is also super, very friendly staff!
Food was excellent, ceviche mixo was delicious. It was very fresh and served Marvin was extremely attentive and friendly.
This was a great restaurant. Our group was pleased with everything that we ordered. The service was also very professional. Their appetizers were delicious. Their drinks were tasty. The steak was cooked just right. I would definitely recommend this place when you are in the Bronx area.

I recently dined at Pio Pio 4, a cozy Peruvian spot that completely blew us away. From the moment we walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere greeted us.

The chicken was what stood out the most. They gave an ample amount of food and checked in on us periodically .

If you're looking to explore authentic Peruvian cuisine with bold flavors and heartwarming hospitality, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Our server Marvin took very good care of us!
Great family restaurant. Limited options on the menu but the options are tasty. We had the baked chicken lunch special with rice and beans and the steak with peppers white rice and French fries. The chicken is so good. Much tastier than the Lechoneras. But I wish they had some garlic sauce. The steak was really good. Definitely had lots a grill flavor which came through really nice. They have their own house wine which was good. Overall great spot would definitely come back even though they forgot to give me my bottle of water with my chicken lunch special.
The waiters were nice and friendly. The food was awesome! It was my first time ever eating at the restaurant. I think the UFT had did a reservation for 20 + people as a holiday dinner treat for all of our hard work throughout the school year! I plan on bringing my family there to eat one day there.
Food is super delicious! Everything on the menu is good. Drinks are amazing and strong here too. Waiters are nice and very quick. Even when the place is packed, things run very smoothly.
This place was great!!! Staff was super friendly and food was amazing. We got the Matador combo and shared family style. We also got the orange juice. The rotisserie chicken and rice and beans stole the show. We also got the plantains and it was yummy:)
