The food is amazing. I got fries as an appetizer and it almost filled me up. The rice and beef was delectable. Personally the egg had too much oil but it was still great. The pho was absolutely amazing and nothing like I had tasted before. Definitely recommend.

I don't know about the atmosphere as I ordered delivery, but my god have they perfected the pho delivery. It came so cleverly packed and what a brilliant take out pho container. Stayed pipping hot despite a far delivery. And the flavor is divine! Do your self a favor and order your pho here. Today is my birthday and I made an EXCELLENT choice.

Perfect meal for a cold day. The grilled pork chops are a must try. Other favourites would be the Calamari, shrimp and crab cakes in the appetizers. The broth is delicious and honestly reminds me of home. Definitely my go to pho place.

my first mistake was coming in with high expectations because of all the 4-5 star reviews. my boyfriend and i spent $115 on 3 dishes that we couldn’t even leave a dent in because of the lack of flavor. starting with the duck buns , i had to put it down after one bite and my boyfriend who loves duck couldn’t even get past one bun. i had the beef with flat noodles (the picture posted) and i could barely get myself to finish it because of how bland it was. we somewhat enjoyed the beef short ribs (kalbi) but then again 3/4 of the plate was rice and random veggies. the only thing i can comfortably say i enjoyed were the crab rangoons but come on, for $115 good crab rangoons are the bareee minimum. i soon realized that almost all the positive reviews that are posted are incentivized with free boba or some type of free food which is unfortunate.

There's plenty of seating area and space between each seat. The food is also super good and portions are huge; well worth the price. I particularly love the beef brisket noodles. They make the brisket so tender it melts in your mouth. Each portion comes with multiple briskets and a hefty amount of noodles. The soup itself is so full of flavor, it kinda overwhelms other blinder dishes.

The pho is good. I tried their rangoons and fried fish, they were exceptional. Try the Vietnamese affogato! Beware that they automatically charge the gratuity($9.87 on a $51.00 bill😒) even though it was only 3 of us.

I’ve tried their curry mixed food noodle. It was so good! The fried tofu skin was very crunchy and adds a great texture to the food.

PHO FANTASTIC 🥇🥇

Spotted a 200 person queue for a FREE holiday giveaway meal. It was quite the spectacle with police & barricades to ensure there was no stampede.

The energy was vibrant and I can feel it as I was driving by. Parked my Cybertruck up the block and decided to investigate further.

The PHO XE LUA is the people’s choice for $15.95, extra Pho noodles for $2 more. In hindsight, the portion is quite big already. 👍👍

18% gratuity is added to bill. I don’t mind since the owner is giving back to the community. But I think customers should have the option to tip between 15-20%…

RUN!!!!!! Don’t get fooled by the reviews!!!
This place is a scam. They sneak a so-called “gratitude fee” onto your bill without telling you how much it is — and it’s way higher than you’d expect. Who does that? Absolutely shady.

The duck bun was disgusting , drowned in salty sauce so strong you can’t even taste the duck, not that there’s much duck to begin with. The meat looks something in the picture but it was actually very tiny and full of jjustthe skin, barely there, like they’re rationing it. And the menu says $2.50 each, but guess what? You’re forced to order three. Total bait and switch.

Then there’s the durian smoothie - watery, bland, and tastes like someone waved a durian near it but forgot to actually put any in.

Honestly, this place is a rip-off. Overpriced, deceptive, and the food is terrible. Don’t waste your time or your money - you’ll just walk out annoyed and hungry.

Been looking for a place that had grilled chicken pho ever since i had it about 7 years ago in VA. this place was worth waiting for! Delicious. Good flavor on everything. Yummy Peking duck buns too. Can't wait to try more menu items in the future!

Good Food, Great Drinks, but Service Needs a Small Tweak

Overall, we had a good experience here. The main food dishes were enjoyable, and the drinks were absolutely tasty. The service staff were generally good and attentive.
However, a friendly heads-up to first-time visitors: some of the meat options have a strong, distinct scent. If you are sensitive to that, you might want to ask the server for recommendations first.
The only real issue was that our meal was repeatedly interrupted by staff insisting we leave a review while we were still eating. We prefer to focus on our food and write an honest review after the experience is complete. This was a bit off-putting and distracted from the overall enjoyment.
I will definitely come again to try other.

Great spot that offers both vietnamese and chinese cuisine. Prices were reasonable for generous portions and quality provided. Service was attentive and friendly. I recommend the soy sauce chicken, roast pork, grilled vietnamese chicken. The only complaint was the crispy pork was on the fattier side, which is common. Would return to try the dry hong kong noodles and banh mi.

The best vietnamese restaurant in Flushing!! Service is quick and efficient. Food is consistent and always delicious. Have tried 1/4th of the menu and every single thing was great. A must visit in the neighborhood!!

Pho hoang is a decent restaurant with good pho. I’ve been here more than ten times, ordering takeout & dine in, although I do have two complaints.
Their pho is delicious, but often times the flavor of the broth is not consistent. Some times it’s watery, other times it’s very flavorful, it’s rlly just a hit or miss. But when it does come out good, it’s delicious. Ofc I know this happens because they are making everything from scratch , but it’s just something to be mindful of.
Another thing is their other dishes. I only ever get pho but I did happen to get a rice and meat dish, the three meat choice over rice . The food came out and 90% of it was bone. It was very frustrating. Meat had no flavor whatsoever. I was disappointed since I do come here from the Bronx to sit down and enjoy a delicious comforting meal.
Other than that, everything else is good and waiters are great and food comes out quick. I haven’t tried any other dishes so I won’t speak on the rest. Also, they do take gratuity automatically from the check which I just became aware of a few trips ago. Other than that, it’s a good place with authentic food, but it could be better.
