I been buying chinchillas for my monitor lizard and caimans since they been picky. The live feeding works as a charm thanks pet smart!

This PetSmart location is consistently clean and well-maintained, which makes shopping here a pleasant experience. I do wish there were a wider selection of cat products, as the focus seems to lean more toward dogs.<br><br>One standout, though, is the customer service—assistance can sometimes be hard to find in stores, but Lynik really makes a difference. He’s friendly, proactive, and regularly checks in with customers to see if they need help, which adds a lot of value to the overall experience.

I loved the experience here because this is in Long Island not in New York City so you can buy guinea pigs here because of the band in New York City of guinea pigs You have to go to Long Island to buy one as a pet we love our new guinea pig he starting to bond with us so you should definitely come here if you want a guinea pig but the cage sizes are way too small here so I don't recommend buying the store cage sizes they can waste your money and they're really bad and hard to clean and they can even hurt your guinea pigs The water bottle might even be filled with microplastics.

This store has a good variety of freshwater and marine fish

I’ve had such a wonderful experience at this location. It all started when my 2 girls wanted guinea pigs. Because an online search said that they are not sold in NY, we took a trip to this location. Although I did return the 2 little piggies 2 weeks later, while I was shopping for them at PetSmart, I was given so much help from the manager! I wish I knew her name. I couldn’t believe how well she assisted me. I didn’t even know she was the manager until I went to return the little piggies who were so cute, funny, remarkable, active and friendly. And I returned them because they poop about 300 times a day! No kidding! And remember, I had two of them. The manager did warn me about getting two, and my girls kept begging for them. But because of how much they poop, I couldn’t do it anymore. Now back to the manager with the blonde hair, and pretty long nails. While I was deciding on if I should get 1 or 2 guineas, the manager took my cart to load it with the supplies that I would need for the new pets. She was also patient and friendly/kind. Isn’t that remarkable? I’ll never forget that. Thanks for all of your help!

Line going around the corner and it doesn’t look like the manager is going to do anything. She’s walking back-and-forth and another girl with long blonde hair is scrolling through social media in the office. If she’s on break, then the door should be closed because the perception is that they don’t care about the customers in the store

My dog went there yesterday for a groom. While I was there a groomer grabbed a small dog by the side of the face so hard that it screamed in pain. No one flinched until the other patrons and I started murmuring and looked horrified. Then someone took her off of that dog. I got my dog and left and filed a complaint. The store manager called me to follow and told me that the salon put her back on the dog once I left! They clearly do not care if they abuse the dogs. Never going back!

I recently brought my dog, a mini Golden doodle in for a grooming session and had a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly and professional, making me feel comfortable leaving my dog there for the first time.<br><br>The team was attentive to both me and my dog. Jules listened to my grooming preferences, and ensured she understood exactly what I wanted.<br>When I picked up my dog, I was thrilled with the results! Leo looked amazing. Jules did a great job.<br><br>I also appreciated how quickly I was able to get an appointment and how quickly the grooming was done—my dog wasn’t there for too long. The prices were reasonable for the quality of service, and I felt that the value was well worth it.<br><br>Overall, I highly recommend PetSmart, Green Acres Mall for anyone looking for reliable and quality dog grooming services. So I've been going to this store for more than 10 years, and I've been using Rachael Ray Nutrish Dish Dry Dog Food All Life Stage - Chicken, Brown Rice for a while now and my pups love it. I went over to the Valley Stream today at 11:30 am and notice that they had no products and specifically the one I use. So I waiting for a manager for 15 mins and she finally came to the front (she acted and look totally unprofessional when I asked her why there is no Rachael dog food?) She basically told me I can go to another store, the other employees told me she is new which made me feel even worse, as a new employee it's your job to be helpful. So I'm deleting my account with Petsmart and I will now be shopping at TARGET for my Pups food. They had all the products and more.

Great experience at the store itself, but there were no staff to help. So I kinda looked around and left. Store, however, is kept clean. Plenty parking available. I might go to a different location.

Just picked up my baby Aries and he looks so adorable thanks to Esmerelda! I brought him in and he was so matted and needed a bath and cut the WORKS! THEY DID GREAT and even though I was sooooo late picking him up due to unforeseen circumstances the front desk girls were so nice and displayed EXCELLENT customer service 👍🏾 thank you I appreciate YOU ALL great job! P.S. this was my first time getting him groomed at this location.

We went to pick up a graduation present for my son. He wanted a hamster 🐹. After calling around and visiting a few shops we ended up here at the Valley Stream location. Our salesperson(Courtney) was amazing (5/5). She was knowledgeable, informative, helpful, and made some great recommendations. Walking around the shop, receiving a care lesson all while picking up the essentials that we needed to set up our home was fun 😀. We then met a few of the hamsters. Mommy began to develop some second thoughts 😱 after the first few cages were opened but when we met Chunks(our Long Haired Syrian Hamster) she was totally on board 😁. Courtney transfered Chunks to a temporary carrier then walked him over to the check out counter and gave us a few more tips. We had an awesome experience.<br><br>Overall the store was pretty clean, well stocked and the staff were friendly. 4 1/2 Stars.

I've never met anyone who loves birds as much as 1 employee. Which was pretty knowledgeable everything about them. He was very helpful. This place has a wide variety of toys an food for birds only thing that was missing was theirs no birdcages. Not even an aisle for them. That's why I gave 4stars. If I wanted to upgrade or buy a bird in the store I'd have no where to put it. Shout-out to the bird guy tho he deserves a promotion✌️
