We absolutely loved our experience at The Parkside! Driving there was a breeze thanks to the super convenient valet service. As for the food—the Italian cuisine here is fantastic. The dining room has a lovely ambiance, and we had several standout dishes:

Eggplant Rollatini: Perfect for sharing if you’re looking for a rich, comforting bite of eggplant, cheese, and sauce.

Mushroom Pasta: Incredible flavor with just the right touch of cream in the sauce.

Shrimp Cocktail: Features truly super-jumbo, fresh shrimp.

Meatballs: Absolutely great. The cheese flavor is beautifully pronounced.

Bolognese: Simply perfect.

I absolutely loved my experience here! The food was incredible, beautifully plated, and came out quickly. The staff were so kind and attentive, which made everything even better. The restaurant itself is beautiful and very clean , I especially loved our table setup. I’ll definitely be coming back for sure !
One of my favorite restaurants to visit the steak was phenomenal. I love this place. It's a true icon. The food is always out of the park. The staff is super friendly. They over accommodate us. It's the best.
I had my daughter’s baby shower there yesterday. Parkside you did not disappoint! The food was over the top!!!! Delicious from antipasto to penne ala vodka to salad to the numerous choices for dinner❤️ the veal chicken salmon all delicious!!! Alfredo, thank you! Xoxoxo and the cake! It was beautiful! All of our parties are yours from now on.
Best dinner in New York City. I came here to celebrate my Girlfriends Birthday. She loved it and we will definitely be back. Food was so good and the atmosphere was 10/10. Great Christmas vibes too. Get the seafood
Update on my review as of 12/1/2025:

I have to update my review. I wanted to take my family there to Parkside restaurant tomorrow so I called to make a reservation and again, this gentleman answered and I asked when is Christian working again so I make sure we can have him again. Instead of giving me a direct answer, he acted like it's a joke and said Christian can be assigned to work tomorrow but can take off any day. Really?! Is that really the case? It's unbelievable and this is the SECOND time he said this to me (I have called another time, about two weeks ago and he answered the call too. I believe his name was Mike/Jimmy). Why do they make it so difficult to get the server we want? Even Christian said to ask for him thr next time we plan to dine there.

How can you hire someone like him to take reservations and be so rude? I don't care if he is the owner but wow. Simply unbelievable. Yes, you can be busy now but the way you act and speak, don't cry when guests start realizing his attitude and condescending tone of voice. Does anyone in the restaurant realize he can simply ruin the business by the way he handles these reservations? Unbelievable. I'll take my business elsewhere. Good luck.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's been a while since we've been to Parkside restaurant and wow, the service and the food is still as good as we remembered it. We were seated upstairs and our server, Chris (Christian) was attentive, kind, friendly and professional. The food was so delicious. We ordered the baked clams, crab cakes, porterhouse for two and the penne ala vodka. As for desserts, the tiramisu and the cheesecake was perfect. The house red wine was always the highlight of our night.
And special thanks to the runners as well, Alex, Fernando, and Dario. Thank you all again. And we will definitely ask for Chris again! We tried to go yesterday but the reservation host does not know the staff's schedule? We understand it's very busy but it would be nice to have Chris again.
One of my favorite restaurants in NYC I go there for lunch or dinner, I never had a bad experience there so 5 stars well deserved
The owner gave us a warm welcome and seated us immediately in the beautiful, high-end restaurant, which is rumored to have a dramatic 30-year history. I was excited to be there.
Unfortunately, the waiter's service was consistently poor. He was pushy about the daily specials, placing both hands on our table every time. When I ordered the $23 angel hair with meatballs (to stick to my protein diet), his face showed clear disapproval. He only approved of my friend's $37 filet, commenting, "This is nice," which felt like a slight against my less-expensive dish.
The service became bizarre when a kitchen staff member was thanked for a side dish but responded with a strange, negative head shake and finger wag. The worst moment was when my friend politely asked the waiter for extra white sauce for her dry spaghetti; he refused and, without asking, aggressively put cheese on her plate instead. We chose not to create a scene, despite my frustration.
Dessert was mixed: my friend loved her mousse, but my favorite crème brûlée was a disappointment—the crust was burnt, and the cream was tasteless.
On the way out, I shared our experience with the owner, who was sincerely apologetic. Despite the beautiful setting, the bad service overshadowed the evening. I still recommend the place, hoping others get a server who values good service. I left a 15% tip after noting a circled "20" on the bill, a choice the owner understood.
One of the best Italian Restaurants I’ve been too. There is only one other that I know of and that’s Michael’s of Brooklyn! Their Arribiata sauce is out of this world. Alfredo the gentleman up front is incredible. He has lots of stories to tell. Lots of famous people have gone here and it’s based around a Marilyn Monroe theme. Truly beautiful and food is really Incredible and fresh.
My Review of Park Side Restaurant (Corona, NY)
Today was my first time visiting this restaurant — and I was truly impressed. You can feel the special atmosphere right away. It’s clearly a classic, long-standing place: there were many older guests, probably regulars for years, and also a good number of younger people too. That says a lot about the quality — this restaurant brings generations together.
The service was excellent — attentive, polite, and fast. The interior has a cozy, traditional charm. It honestly feels like being at home or in a good Italian movie. 🍝
The portions were big, and the food was delicious. Real Italian cuisine, simple but full of heart. I especially enjoyed [insert your dish here — for example: “the fettuccine Alfredo” or “the chicken parmigiana”
I definitely want to come back again and would recommend this place to anyone who values great food and a warm atmosphere. Thank you to the staff and owners for creating such a welcoming restaurant. 🙏
A Queens staple. Been in the neighborhood forever. The funny thing is. The demographic inside the restaurant is a sharp contrast to the demographic just outside. But the people still go there for that authentic ‘Queens Style Italian food.’ Come for the great food and also enjoy the ambiance. Plenty of characters in there. Loud talking tables with that Queens, Long Island accent. Very ‘NY Italian’ if ya know what I mean. The food was good. Not 1000 percent gourmet, but very delicious. I went with the seafood dish over linguini. Huge portion. Very yummy. Had lobster, shrimp, mussels. I also recommend the shrimp pasta dish. Check the pictures. Presentation is fantastic. The food looks just as good on the plate as it does in your mouth. Not a fan of the baked clams. They came out burnt. Look at the photo. Surprised they sent them to the table that way. Also a very very small portion. Not what I would expect for 15 dollars. Again. Stay for the meal but enjoy the atmosphere. Lots of characters in there. All straight outta a wise guys neighborhood sitcom. I guess they just can’t help it.
Plenty of parking with valet. Convenient
The pistachio dessert was tasty. Left with enough food to take home. No regrets.
The service was a bit slow at first, but once we placed our orders, we were treated like kings and queens. The food was all top-notch. We had the Tbone steak, Carbonara, seafood fra diavolo, Mussels with a killer marina sauce, baked clams that were gone as soon as they put them on the table. Crispy Calamari, and you absolutely have to try the broccoli rabe. We had a blast with a family of 4 ordering everything a la carte.
I recently had the pleasure of dining here and I am happy to say that it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance set a welcoming tone—charming, yet contemporary, with soft lighting and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive without being overbearing, making the entire dining experience feel personalized and comfortable.

As for the food, it was nothing short of spectacular. I started with the penne vodka, a perfect balance of flavors that was both refreshing and indulgent. For the main course, I had the chicken scarp, which was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The flavors were bold yet harmonious, and the portion size was just right. The attention to detail in every dish truly stood out.

To finish, I tried the desserts, which were a delightful end to the meal—light, yet satisfying. The wine selection was also impressive, offering a wide range of pairings that complemented the meal perfectly.

Overall, Park Side provides a top-tier dining experience that combines excellent food, great service, and a relaxing atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal out.
Had a delicious Sunday dinner here!! Very nostalgic ambiance, but it’s my favorite kind. I had the swordfish and it was cooked perfectly! very happy with the calamari and crab cake appetizers as well. the service was okay. we felt a little neglected in a corner of the restaurant but we still managed to get everything we needed
I haven’t been here in years. Their crab cake is toothsome😋! Fresh, lumps, sweet.
My guest enjoyed her Seafood Combo.
Attentive service and nice ambience with the greenery along the windows.

They serve you a variety of complimentary bread that they wrap for you to go and biscotti.

If you would like to have dinner here, make a reservation weeks in advance or they’ll tell you they have tables available at 4:30 or 8:30 p.m. But if you aim to have lunch, they’ll likely have a table at the time you want.
