Had the perfect meatball pasta. Exactly what I needed for a cold nyc day. So tender and great flavor. They also have a great atmosphere in terms of being very friendly and attentive

Didn’t love any of the dishes. You can find much better Italian spots in the city and west village specifically.
We ordered the eggplant parm sandwich and the truffle mushroom rigatoni.
It is also a tight space, they have only a couple of tables.

We stopped by for dinner and had three great plates of pasta! The Meatball and Bolognese pastas were both delicious. We also asked if they would make a vegan pasta with tomato sauce, basil and even asked for mushrooms added which they happily accommodated. All three pastas were great and the interior was also very cute.

Such a great find while roaming through the Village. The food was excellent, very fresh and light. We had a baguette sandwich and a caesar salad. Marco, our server was so nice and friendly and we had such a great conversation. Would highly recommend!

As soon as he walked in the front door. We were welcomed with amazing energy, and we felt part of the family instantly. we went with the chefs choice. with the chicken Parm in a fresh Americano with roasted turkey organic tomatoes in organic, freshly sliced mozzarella. And the top it all off to cannolis. Definitely you would give this place 100 stars every time the staff is friendly. The music is entertaining great great great atmosphere.

The BEEEST Italian restaurant in NYC. I had the Caesar salad and the Bruschetta al Pomodoro and it was better than I even expected. The recipes are authentic, the vibes are so nice and comfy, the food is presented beautifully, the portions are MASSIVE (you’re definitely gonna have to get some to-go) and everything tastes amazing, and they have the kindest and friendliest staff ever! They also have an amazing wine selection from all over Italy, you won’t get these wines anywhere else! If anyone in the city wants to eat Italian, they definitely have to come here.

Stumbled by this hidden Italian spot in the West Village — very intimate and the kindest staff members. I ordered their cooked ham and mozzarella baguette sandwich, the red onion focaccia, and eggplant parmesan. All were so fresh and flavorful, made in house. Highly recommend stopping by!

Some of the best sandwiches around! Pictured is a new one I tried, the Cremona (mortadella, burrata, crushed pistachios). I ordered it hot on focaccia and it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The Fresh Truffle is decadent, but not cheap. Some of the classic sandwiches are very affordable ($11-13) and tasty. We’ll keep coming back!

After a summer trip to Italy, we were craving some authentic focaccia sandwiches and this place hit the spot! Really great, quality bread and a lot of options to choose from. Will definitely be back.

The food was amazing! We ordered the pasta and meatballs and the peppe sandwich. The pasta sauce and meatballs were delicious, and the sandwich ingredients were all very fresh. Liza was also very helpful and split both of our entrees to share, which was very thoughtful.

We were looking for a sandwich spot after our visit to the nearby Whitney Museum for the museum Friday nights. It was about 930 pm and this spot was still open. We were lucky to find a free parking spot just around the corner.

First impression, as others have said, it is very cozy. Pleasant welcoming environment inside, there was plenty of tables inside and we decided to take a seat. A lot to look at in the restaurant. Much merchandising and a Tv in the corner playing scenes from Italy. All very beautiful and nostalgic. Did I feel like I may have been transported to Italy for a minute? Yes, I think so.

The sandwiches are reasonably priced and we went with a Chicken parm and meatball parm. I didn’t go with one of the bread options for an extra cost. We also went with the Italian sodas.
The sandwhiches were bountiful and very filling. Artisanal if that makes sense. Delicious too.

Now the criticism. As I always point out. I have a thing about restaurant front doors. This one stayed open and it was cold and windy outside. I’m glad I decided to sit on the bench seat but if I hadn’t I would have the wind blowing on me. Another gripe. These delivery drivers picking up orders. They ruin the dining vibe coming in, leaving the door open, talking on their phones, dressed like dirty slobs. All in black, helmets on, face covered, did I say dirty, and no regard to diners. It really takes away from the experience.

Amazing cozy itallian spot. The food is really incredible, the staff are friendly. The pesto is super fresh. Light, balanced anf filled with flavor. We got their Mushroom truffle and it is by far my favorite pasta. The flavors are mellow they allow the mushrooms and truffle to really shine through. Their tomato sauce is bold and bright. We got the tasted eggplant pasta with tomato sauce and it hit the right spot. The garlic bread was also really good especially when used to soak up that remaining pasta sauce.

This place is really a hidden gem. Their menu have a variety of options for every person. The waiter and waitress are both so nice and make you feel like home. They have seating inside and outside in a one street way making everything less chaotic. I came with my dogs and they gave them a water bowl, and made them feel very welcome too. This is a plus to the city, because there’s so many dogs but not so many dog friendly places. Loved my rigatoni pasta, and for desert I had cannoli with an espresso and it was amazing. It makes you feel like you are in Italy!!! Loved my experience here and would recommend to anyone that loves a good vibe and good food! Keep up the good work!
