This is the least deserving Michelin star I've been to yet. Though the food was good, it wasn't so much better than other Mexican food I've had (particularly in places like Arizona and Texas) to justify the star and price tag. The service was good and I liked the decor, it felt bright and a pleasant place to dine, even seated at the bar. The bathrooms were super fun!

Being very honest, I did not see the value.
Extremely overpriced for the Knickknacks they serve.

The beet tostada was ok, but not great. Profit margin on this was may be 99%

Mitake tacos were good. Light and fresh. They only serve 2 per order which was a let down but still decent.

The lamb tacos at 27 were the best value but were average compared to the mitake tacos.
Oxomoco – Michelin-starred Mexican food. We found this restaurant on YouTube. The restaurant has a nice, casual atmosphere, but it's noisy inside, but that's fine here. Delicious food and cocktails. Friendly service. We went for dinner the first time and returned for lunch a few days later. Highly recommended!
Best tacos I’ve ever had! We came in for a couples night to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and everything exceeded expectations.

The platter of salsas and the homemade tortillas were a standout—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We ordered both the steak and chicken tacos, and each was just as good as the other.

For dessert, we tried the chocolate cake and the citrus ice cream, and both were amazing. We loved it so much that we came back again the very next night!

Highly recommend—definitely a spot we’ll keep coming back to.
We had an incredible experience at Oxomoco with John B as our server. Everything on the menu was absolutely sensational and some of the best Mexican food we’ve had, and we’ve been to Mexico a few times.

Would highly recommend the Tuna Tostado, Guacamole and Steal Tacos.

The Zorro cocktail was also a winner which John recommended to us.

We’d 100% come back!
No notes. Food was incredible.

Living in California I had a lot of chilaquiles and was never the biggest fan. The ones here were INCREDIBLE.

Mackerel and octopus aguachile which blew us away. It was super spicy in the best way possible and so flavorful. The chilaquiles were so fresh and the mole crumble was super unique and so good.

Did not order the tacos but saw a bunch of other people’s orders of them and they looked great.

Ambience is great. Went during lunch and it was so nice, can imagine it’s even better at night. Friend and I kept bringing this place up throughout our trip after we tried it.

Bathroom also has a little disco thing going on so that was fun.
Everything gets 5/5 from me. The quality of the service and the food made for a memorable and delightful experience. The ambiance of this restaurant is gorgeous, and it illuminates a youthful glow from the creamy white decor and warm lighting. The drinks for refreshing and delicious, and the food was out of this world!!! Oh my!!! All of the seafood dishes I highly recommend, and also ask for the desserts. The flourless chocolate cake was to die for. I’ll be back for sure!!!!
Cute interior, vibes on the outdoor patio not quite the same, but that’s why you should plan ahead and aim for indoor dining. Loved the meal, menu had so many yummy things to choose from and the white wine the server recommended was sooooo so good. Sorry I don’t remember what it was but that means they gave me enough wine not to worry about it. Some of THEEEEE best guac around town, they put all the goodies in there and it’s perfect and looks beautiful to boot. Caesar salad was gorgeously gushing with gobs of good cheese just snowed all on top of it, exquisite. Bathroom lighting was selfieable. Very lovely dining experience - would recommend.
Editing to add that my FAV item on the menu was the soy/sesame crusted tuna tostada, can’t remember how close that is to actual name of the dish on the menu but if you see shoyu something tuna tostada please order three and do NOT share with anyone at the table they can get their own.
This Mexican place is fusion but has its own character. We enjoyed the twist in octopus and fish ceviche because the charred octopus added more flavor. The catch of the day tacos are amazing, with Thai basil and other fresh herbs make it so refreshing to balance the fried fish! Beef cheek tacos are also very flavorful and tender :) Lastly dont miss to finish with chocolate mousse with espresso ice-cream, you won’t regret that!
We went to Oxomoco for brunch and had a great time. We tried the Pork Tacos, the chilaquiles and the salsa con chips. Everything was very tasteful. The atmosphere and the place is great I recommend it
We felt genuinely welcomed from the moment we walked in, almost as if we were dining with family. My daughter, who is usually a very selective eater, ended up having one of the best meals she’s ever had thanks to the thoughtful recommendation from the team at Oxomoco. The service, the flavors, and the atmosphere all exceeded expectations. Highly respected, highly recommended, and I truly can’t wait to go back.
Michelin Star restaurant for good reason! Excellent food and excellent service. Had the Wagyu beef cheeks and their current special lamb tacos. Both stellar !
My boyfriend and I had an amazing dinner at Oxomoco—our second visit, and it felt just as special. Chef Maria and her team were wonderful. We started with the guac and chips; the tortillas were perfectly crisp and the guacamole was vibrant and flavorful. The soy-marinated tostada was a standout—the aguachile salsa had a spicy kick but was incredibly addictive. For tacos, the maitake was deeply savory, the shrimp tacos were crunchy and well-seasoned, and the pork carnitas were fun to assemble and packed with flavor.
Went there for Lunch and had an amazing. Our waiter John did an amazing job explaining the offerings in the menu and recommended things we ended up absolutely loving. The bar had an incredible selection of quality tequila and mezcal. Great for connoisseurs. The food is $$$. But worth every penny with how delicious it is. Will definitely go back again.
Came with friends and was blown away by the ambiance. The lighting and ascetic was beautifully curated. Every dish was well balanced with incredible flavors and textures. The presentation was beautiful and the service was perfect. Dont skip on the desserts, well worth the indulgence. Oh and check out the bathroom, Disco ball!
