Omega Diner Restaurant

Overall it was a great experience. Service was awesome. Food was decent. My only complaint I would never waste money to order buffalo wings again. Absolutely shocked to see 7 tiny pieces of wing parts on a small bed of lettuce, no carrots or celery sticks. This cost is $13!? If I knew it is this sad, I would have ordered another breakfast instead of appetizers. What a rip off!

Went to this diner at 3pm for the first time. Waited less then 2 minutes, waiter less then a minute. My waiter was Mr. Mohamed very nice and pleasant very attentive and make sure when received my food that I was satisfied with my food. Everyone in the diner was very nice and pleasant will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Clean with good food and service. We both got paninis which were large and well stacked. We saw others breakfast meals which looked really good as well. We got the mozzarella sticks which were nice and crispy (can’t stand soggy breading). The staff was friendly and welcoming.

Love this place, I go to the NICU everyday so usually I stop here and get food. Service is awesome and the greeting staff is very thoughtful and sweet.

The food was delicious, the service was expected, our waiter was extremely pleasant and friendly. I had a fun time here, I wish to return. Today was my first time coming here and eating here, I was welcomed and I felt comfortable, happy, peaceful. The diner has delicious food and variety with good prices. I loved it here, I will return soon. Thank you Omega for your service and food, I am satisfied.

Second time visiting Omega Diner. First time was with my mother for brunch and we had a very pleasant experience. Food was good, service was courteous and pleasant.<br><br>Today, because of my previous positive experience, decided to take my wife and toddler for brunch. Upon being seated, our server (I didn’t get his name, but was wearing a white button down, older man, white hair). Gruffly asked us if we wanted a high chair. My wife and I are always respectful and courteous to our servers and thanked him.<br><br>He came back a few minutes later and asked us if we wanted more time, which we replied yes. After taking our order and dropping it off, not once did he ever stop by to ask us if we needed anything, if the food was good, etc. but he did so for every table next to us in his area. He was so pleasant to the table that was seated next to us (4 elder white patrons) that it made us wonder what we did to get on his bad side (my wife and are Asian).<br><br>Because he never checked up on us, and when we were done with our meals, when he was checking up on the table next us, I asked “can we have a to-go box please?” He turned and never acknowledged us, even though he absolutely heard what I was saying. I followed up with “I know you heard me”.<br><br>He comes back with the takeout box, gives it to me and says “yeah I heard you”. Well, if you heard me, maybe you should acknowledge your patrons instead of treating them like they owe you something.<br><br>This experience will absolutely affect my future decision to visit Omega diner.

I have come to this diner every single time I come back to visit. Ive been frequenting this place since they had smoking and non smoking sections in the 1980s and I was a little kid. I've always loved Omega.<br><br>I visit my family here once every few years and eat here at least twice every visit. I can't wait to come back.<br><br>Best burgers in the world. Fries are great. Service is the best in the tri-state area. And I buy cookies to take with me on the flight back home.<br><br>Omega is one of the best diners I've ever been to in the country. Its worth every penny and then some!

This Diner is really good the food tasted great with reasonable prices and the people working were super nice! They were very quick too I've been here two times and I definitely want to come back.

I asked for well done fries and mozzarella cheese on my burger. Didn't get either. This has to be the worst diner that they dont listen to ur order.

Me and my friend came in, got our own drinks, and shared some onion rings. The guy and woman were friendly at first, but then that same lady who checked us out had such rude energy. Maybe she’s just naturally that miserable. It’s just fake, I’d honestly rather someone be rude all around than be fake nice for business. I’ve seen other reviews comment how different they act when the customers are white, so that says a lot. Servers were genuine and pleasant though.<br><br>I’m guessing they were annoyed we didn’t order more food. Unfortunately, overeating is so normalized in America that us not ordering 5 meals at once probably came off as offensive to them. And as if people don’t share appetizers all the time?<br><br>To top it off, the onion rings weren’t even cooked right. some were fine, but others still had raw batter. You’re better off going to another diner, nothing special about this place.

The last time I came here I gave 2 stars. Why did I come back! The place was packed at lunch time. The only reason why I found parking is because the car in front of me missed the spot<br><br>We sat and I ordered challah and old fashioned French toast. I prayed over the food my request was to take out all impurities.<br><br>Well I looked closer as I buttered it up and found a long string of hair. I'm bald so it wasn't from me and it was a long string. I had short curly. This is very disturbing and disgusting why is it that the waiter could see it when I pointed it out but not while he was bringing it to me. My partner sat across the table and saw it. I'm never coming back here and this was my suggestion. Last visit was a mess and this one a disaster.

This diner is a hit or miss. I had a mixed experience while I was here; their mozzarella sticks and French toast were really good but the rest of the meal was not. They messed up my friend’s burger and their fries were just eh. Another small but annoying issue was that they cleaned the table after we sat down instead of before, which meant we had to move everything just so they could wipe it down. Overall the place isn’t terrible but there are better diners out there with more reasonable prices and better food.

This is a hot spot for locals and after coming here, it is obvious why. The service is fast and the waiter was very accomodating. The coffee is strong and piping hot. The food is reasonably priced, fresh and served in large quantities. I enjoyed my dining experience here and will be back!

Best diner food I have had in my life! Quality ingredients, fresh, made to order, tasty, huge portions and nice staff. Food comes quick even when the place is busy and it is clean and worth it!
