Had a great experience here! The food was absolutely delicious with great flavors. The service was very fast and attentive, even though the restaurant was quite busy. Just don’t expect a quiet or relaxed atmosphere during peak hours. The atmosphere was lively. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

Response from the owner

We appreciate your honest note about the lively atmosphere during peak hours as well. Your support means a lot to us, and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon!

Great food, nice waiters, efficient and good prices!
I usually don’t order crab and pork soup dumplings at the risk of small pieces of shells but here I can! The wrapper is thin and has some bite instead of soggy. We ate them so fast only have a photo of one left.
Also like the congee with century egg with the fried dough stick.

Response from the owner

We come here pretty often and usually like the food, but yesterday was a bit disappointing. We ordered two portions of uncooked wontons for the first time, but only ended up getting one. Seems like a simple mix-up between the front and back that should’ve been easy to catch. Hope they double check orders more carefully next time.

Response from the owner

Dear Customer,Thank you for your continued support and honest feedback. We’re sorry about the missing order and understand how frustrating that must have been.We will share this with our team to improve order accuracy moving forward.Thank you again, and we hope to serve you better next time!

We went here three times during our stay! The soup dumplings were one of the best we’ve ever had. Pot rice was also great. Complimentary tea! Great service and great prices. Highly recommended!

When I arrived, I was quickly seated and handed a menu. When I was ready to order, I tried to get the attention of a waitress, but she walked past me twice. I was finally able to get the attention of another waitress who took my order. I ordered the Shrimp & Pork Wonton with egg noodles and the Steam Shanghai Pork Soup dumplings. The wontons were big, juicy, delicious, and filling. The noodles were all tangled up in a bunch and difficult to separate and eat in strands, so I had to take bites out of a round mass of noodles. The soup tasted like steamed crab/lobsters, which I have had many times, so the uncanny resemblance of tastes surprised me. The dumplings were flavorful and satisfying.

As I began munching away at my noodles, they became easier and easier to untangle. As I untangled the noodles, I noticed a short piece of hair in my noodles and brought this up to my waitress. I did not end up finishing my noodles after this. The waitress was apologetic and kind enough to offer a discount or a free dessert.

Response from the owner

Dear customer, thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the flavor and quality of the wontons, dumplings, and noodles, as well as the overall atmosphere. We sincerely apologize for the incident with the hair in your noodles — this is not the standard we strive for. We appreciate that our staff addressed it promptly and hope your next visit will be flawless from start to finish. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to welcoming you back.

Authentic wonton soup base, you can smell the 大地魚&艽黃aroma。 curry brisket is pretty good.
Check out the cute turtles(Happy, Doc, Grumpy, Dopey, Bashful, Sleepy, and Sneezy) in the tank by the entrance.

I came here on February 16, 2026 for a solo day trip to Chinatown, and this spot was one of those popular TikTok places I kept seeing. Right away, I loved the decor—it has a really nice vibe—and the service, especially from the head lady, was warm and welcoming.

The place was packed, but they still managed to seat everyone efficiently. Service was quick, the menu was easy to follow, and I ordered two orders of pork and shrimp soup dumplings (xiǎo lóng bāo). They also serve complimentary black tea throughout your meal, which I really appreciated.

The dumplings were good, but I do think the broth could’ve used a bit more flavor—maybe some garlic, onion, and just a touch more salt. The filling was slightly chewy, but still enjoyable overall. For two orders (6 dumplings each), my total came to $26.68 with tax, and that’s before tip.

It’s definitely on the pricier side compared to other spots I’ve tried. Only reason why I gave it three stars was because of the price point for two orders While it wouldn’t be my first choice based on taste and value, I am curious to go back and try the soup dishes I saw everyone else ordering with dumplings.

Response from the owner

Dear customer,

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed experience with us. We’re glad you enjoyed the atmosphere, our décor, and the service, especially from our team. We appreciate your feedback about the pork and shrimp soup dumplings and the broth—your notes about flavor and filling are helpful for us as we continue to improve.

We understand your concerns about pricing and truly value your honesty. We’d love for you to come back and try some of our other soup dishes, and we hope your next visit will provide a more satisfying experience in both taste and value.

3.75
Near Canal St. Accessible by public transportation. Got seated at a booth, hot tea and our order was taken. The food came out fast; portion is for 1 person; tasted good but would like some vegetables in them. Black egg in the dumplings noodle soup were very little pieces in dumpling. Service was good. Restrooms on the first floor and downstairs via stairs.

Response from the owner

Dear customer, thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the food and that the service was good. We appreciate your suggestions about adding more vegetables and improving the dumpling filling, and we’ll keep them in mind. We hope to welcome you again soon for an even better experience.

Peak Chinatown dining experience on Super Saturday during Lunar New Year 2026 celebrations. All the food was perfect - congee, pork soup dumplings, chicken noodle soup with ginger and scallions and a dragon dance through the restaurant to ring in the year of the Horse! Good fortune, power, and prosperity are all surely en route for the coming year

Our first time to Noodle Village and it was FANTASTIC. This was a new spot for our family for lunch and seeing how busy it was when we walked in was encouraging. The menu is vast with so many choices. We were so appreciative of the owner coming over to our table to give us personal recommendations of what we may like based on our tastes (a personal favorite was the scallion pancakes!). She was wonderful, friendly and a lovely hostess. The food was excellent, the service was stellar and the cleanliness and organization of the entire experience was great. We look forward to coming back!

I have been going to Noodles Village since 2015, and it has been my favorite restaurant in NYC from the very beginning. Every time I walk in, I feel at home. I loved the old, cozy atmosphere, and although they renovated and upgraded to a more modern and elegant look, a part of my heart still misses the original space, as it carried so many sweet memories ❤️

I was pregnant with my daughter when I first started coming here, so she’s been enjoying Noodles Village food since she was inside my belly. Now she’s 5, and every time we visit New York City, this is still our first stop. The food, the warmth, the memories… it always feels like coming home.

Highly recommend: this place is truly special.

Response from the owner

We truly appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming you and your daughter back for many more memorable meals!

I’ve been a fan of Noodle Village since their previous location, and I’m so glad they’ve reopened in this new, bigger space—it looks great and feels even more comfortable. The food quality is just as amazing as before, maybe even better!

This time I ordered the steamed crab and pork soup dumplings, Chinese broccoli and yau choi with oyster sauce, shrimp and pork wonton, deep-fried fish skin, and shrimp and pork dumplings. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The soup dumplings were juicy and full of rich crab flavor, and the wontons were soft and tasty. The deep-fried fish skin was super crispy—such a great snack to start with.

Food came out really fast, and the service was friendly and efficient. If you love noodle soup, this is absolutely the place to go. I usually order their homemade fish ball and sliced fish noodle soup, but it was sold out this time (it’s that good!). If it’s available when you visit, definitely order it—you won’t regret it.

Overall, this new Noodle Village location keeps everything I loved about the old one, with an even better space and the same amazing food. Highly recommend!
