An unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. The ambiance at Nobu Fifty Seven is elegant yet welcoming, and the service was absolutely impeccable. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with incredible flavor.
The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire evening feel special without being overbearing. Whether for a celebration or just an amazing night out in NYC, Nobu Fifty Seven delivers on every level. Easily one of the best restaurants in the city — five stars all the way.

We celebrated my 10 year old’s birthday here and she was over the moon with everything. The food, the atmosphere, the waitresses all were so amazing. So glad we have Nobu adm we go there as often as we can for special occasions or in any day when we crave quality seafood.
Highly recommend👏🏻

The food was what you expect and have heard about, but our waiter was a true diva. He came to the table and threw the drink menu on the table, knocking over a glass of water. Then took about 20 minutes to come back and actually take our drink order. After about 45 minutes we actually got to order food, which then came quite quickly and was great. The noise and hustle, plus the warmth inside was quite unenjoyable as an experience.

I’ve had the black cod miso before, and wanted to try something new. We tried their ribeye honey truffle as well as the sea bass karashi su miso. SKIP. Please. They’re ordinary and basic, nothing special about it.

Just stick with the black cod miso. It’s everyone’s favorite for a reason. Now I’m scared to try something new. Honestly anything at Nobu is a hit or miss.

A hit that we discovered that night, was the nori caviar taco, and the cheesecake! It was awesome. Really good.

Two story Nobu on 57th, they have a lot of classic Nobu dishes (wagyu dumplings, firecracker shrimp, and the miso cod are examples) - miso cod was great. Sushi was ok, and the yellowtail jalepeno (spicy!) was good to start. Get the hot dishes here!

I reserved Nobu for my wife’s birthday and it exceeded expectations. The yellowtail was incredibly fresh, the sushi was perfectly done, and the wagyu tacos were a standout. Dessert was just as impressive and the perfect way to end the night. The service really made the experience special. Our waitress was amazing, kind, attentive, and made my wife feel celebrated.

Great atmosphere, great food, and an overall unforgettable night. We will definitely be back.

Had a great experience and would definitely return.
Black Miso Cod, Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna, and Yellowtail Jalapeño roll (not pictured) were all amazing and I’m not a fish person. Rock shrimp is okay.

Nobu Fifty Seven was absolutely beautiful in every way. We booked our Valentine’s Day reservation two to three weeks in advance, and it was still the last seating of the night at 10:45 PM. Although they were running slightly behind, we were seated about 30 minutes after our reservation.

We ordered the Valentine’s Day special bundle, and every course was outstanding. The variety of dishes was incredible, and everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You truly cannot go wrong with any selection here.

From the moment we arrived, the staff provided exceptional service, hospitality, and attention to detail. The entire experience felt special and memorable. We will definitely be returning.

Been here long time ago before covid...

Overheard prices skyrocketed... then... co-worker ordered takeout.

Totally impressed with bento.
Surf and turf. Mero exquisite. Steak not bad. Sushi excellent as well.
Nicely packed as well as utensils.

Bit overpriced for appetizer, tuna tartar.
Guess no plating and all... bit not worth it.

I recently had dinner at Nobu in New York and overall it was a very good experience. We had a reservation for 10 p.m. and still waited about ten minutes to be seated, which wasn’t too bad, but worth noting given how busy the restaurant stays. The atmosphere inside is sleek and modern, and the service was attentive without feeling rushed.
We started with drinks and ordered the Coconut Matcha and the Lychee Martini. The Coconut Matcha was smooth and lightly sweet, and I really enjoyed it. The Lychee Martini had a refreshing floral flavor but was a little strong for me, so I didn’t enjoy it quite as much.
For appetizers, the standout for me was the yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño. It had a bright, slightly sour citrus note that paired perfectly with the subtle heat from the jalapeño. It was easily my favorite dish of the night. We also tried the crispy rice with spicy tuna. The tuna itself was creamy and flavorful, but the rice was a bit too crispy for my taste and left the top of my mouth a little tender. The wagyu gyozas were good but underwhelming. They tasted similar to dumplings you can find anywhere and didn’t have the special richness I expected from wagyu.
The rock shrimp in creamy spicy sauce, however, were excellent. The shrimp were tender and coated in a sauce that had a great balance of creaminess and heat. The portion size was surprisingly generous compared to several of the other dishes, which felt on the smaller side.
We also ordered the chef’s recommendation of the night, a plate featuring twelve different pieces of sushi. Most of the pieces were very fresh and well prepared. A few had a slightly fishy taste that wasn’t my favorite, but overall it was an enjoyable selection and beautifully presented. Lastly I had dessert, it was super yummy! Forgot the name though..
In general, the food at Nobu is very good and the presentation is truly exceptional. My only hesitation is the pricing. Several of the portions feel quite small for the cost, and some dishes didn’t feel distinctive enough to justify the premium price tag. Still, the overall experience was memorable and worth trying at least once, especially if you appreciate refined Japanese cuisine with creative touches. We were a party of two and paid around $500.

A great place to go with friends. Lots of fantastic small plates that can be shared. The sticky rice cubes and the Kobe beef dumplings are a must along with any of their sushi and sashimi. You will need reservations as it is always busy.

My favorite Nobu location of all time is the Malibu location so visiting any other location has high expectations! This location is good it’s cool the service is above average but not excellent. The yellowtail sashimi and tiraditu was the besttttt dishes of the night ofc along with the wagyu tacos. Their black label sake as well was awesome. This experience was above average but not excellent.

Easily one of the best sushi spots in town! The black cod filet was next level … super tender and packed with flavor. Every piece of sushi was fresh, clean, and perfectly made. You can tell they use top-quality fish. Great service, chill vibes, and everything just hits right. 100% recommend.
