Renae provided outstanding service! She was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable with her attention to my food allergies. I had their Hot Ginger Tea which was a fun experience and was really yummy. She also provided a little history lesson on ackee and then brought some out for us to taste. The oxtail stew was so good but her service was even better!

From the beginning of my & my daughter experience at Negril village atmosphere a 10 & Martha the (host )was very welcoming & accommodating not to mention her beautiful smile 😊 to sit us at a comfortable booth downstairs to Jessie (bartender) who came to us & wished me a happy mother's Day & asked what we will be drinking her style & energy was inviting not to mention her rum punch was amazing 👍& last but not least was beautiful Seaan M(waitress) made us feel like we were on the island of Jamaica. Seaan was not only professional but bubbly at the same time. She definitely deserves a raise 👏 she recommend the oxtail sauce it was tasteful compliment to the chef. I will definitely be back.
Renae was amazing! She was very attentive, kept a smile on and was very graceful - all the right ingredients for a good night out. My girls and I could t be more happier. I had fun. Food was great. Music was story telling. The night is one to remember.
Christina was amazing and the service was incredible. It was our first time at the restaurant and everything was ON POINT!!! We had the Tasting Plate with the Mac and cheese, and the Rum Punch. Everything was AMAZING!!
I didn't have a reservation but they accommodating me, table for 2. Food was 7/10 but im picky. The Esco fish was 9/10 the festival too much cinnamon but definitely edible n the bammy too soft n not golden brown overall meal for.me was 8/10. The rum punch was 10/10. The ambiance was good music with live dj.
Everything was sooo delicious. I tried a bit of everything and I honestly give it all a 10/10. The ambience and the music was great really kept the vibe up. Customer service was very on point. I will be back!
excellent service and wonderful ambiance at negril village! the food was definitely delicious. very tender oxtail stew and nicely spicy jerk wings (which are on the happy hour menu)!

also really enjoyed the ginger drink--it packs a punch and makes you feel like you'll never be sick again. the prices make sense for the ambiance and food was great, so I definitely want to be back!
I came here for my birthday with my partner and I can safely say it was the best dinner I've had in quite a while. The appetizers were delicious ESPECIALLY the empanadas!!! The entrees were so yummy I had the oxtail ragu riggatoni and it was the best pasta I have had in years. YEARS. My partner had the chicken roti and it was also DELISH. The atmosphere was awesome and the service added to it. Shoutout to Anthony (our waiter) who was incredibly personable and attentive. He went the extra mile for me by putting on a jamaican birthday song for me and giving us a free dessert to share. Best restaurant experience I have had in a long time.
Haven’t been here in a while, so we came back for dinner—and I’m so glad we did.

Starting with the service: Anthony was our server and truly did it all. He was the first to greet us when we walked in, made our drinks at the bar, and served us at the table—all with a big smile. He was friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout the night.

The ambiance was lovely and welcoming. For food, we ordered the oxtails, which were incredibly tender and delicious. It’s rare to find oxtail that isn’t tough or overly fatty, and these absolutely exceeded expectations. We also had the seafood roti, which was full of flavor.

The drinks were excellent as well. Overall, an amazing experience from start to finish. Highly recommend.
Negril Village is truly one of my favorite Caribbean restaurants. From the moment you walk in, it feels like home. The restaurant is owned by the amazing Ms. Marva, and while her story deserves its own spotlight, the food alone keeps me coming back.
I started with the jerk shrimp skewers served with ackee & saltfish tostones, and they were absolutely delicious—full of flavor and perfectly cooked. For my entrée, every bite was so good that I left my plate completely clean.
For drinks, I ordered the strawberry lemon drop with tequila, and the bartender really put love into it. Perfectly balanced and one of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while.
If you’re looking for authentic Caribbean food in a space that feels welcoming and soulful, Negril Village is the place to go. And if you’re lucky, you might even get the chance to meet Ms. Marva herself. Tell her I said hello.
Renae, was AMAZING. Best server ever! Definitely recommend literally ANYTHING on the menu. I’m from the south and honestly didn’t know If I was going to like it. I LOVED everything and im a very picky eater and everything was amazing 🥰🥰🥰🥰cooks were amazing and so sweet omggg! Definitely recommend coming here. The hostess was very sweet! Soon as she started talking to us it felt like she’s known us foreverr! Definitely would come here everyday. & don’t forget the oxtail empanadas I couldn’t even get a pic I was so ready to eat them. 🥰🥰😭😭😭😭
This was our first visit to Negril Village and I must say it definitely exceeded my expectations! The greeter was very polite. Our server Renae was amazing!! I presented her with my allergy card she was on point she made sure to instruct the chef of all of my allergies and double checked if it was ok to use vegan butter to prepare my meal. I had the curry seafood and I must say it was chefs kiss. I used to have the seafood stew and Negril Bk but this meal was top tier. My husband throughly enjoyed his snapper meal. Ms. Marva was kind enough to step out from the kitchen so I could personally thank her for the care she took with my food and the fact that it still turned out absolutely delicious. This was a great first experience and we'll definitely be adding this restaurant to our list!

Cool atmosphere and beautiful design. The Jamaican dishes were tasty and well presented.

Prices seemed a bit high from our perspective, but maybe that is typical in the US.

Unfortunately, the waiter service was not great that day, which affected the experience slightly.
Response from the owner
We're glad to hear you enjoyed the atmosphere, design, and the presentation and flavor of our Jamaican dishes. We're sorry to hear the service fell short during your visit, that’s not the experience we aim to provide, and we’ll be addressing this with our team to ensure better consistency.
Negril never disappoints! As returning customers, we were once again blown away by the bold flavors, vibrant atmosphere, and warm hospitality. The food always hits—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. On this visit, we were thrilled to see they got their liquor license back, and every drink we tried was smooth, tasty, and perfectly crafted. A special shoutout to Anthony, who remembered us from our last visit and delivered exceptional service with a personal touch. Highly recommend Negril if you’re craving amazing Caribbean food and a laid-back, welcoming vibe. We’ll definitely be back again soon!
