Great premium set menu, just Maka sure you att the fried chicken and tuna tartar with nachos. Romantic and upscale. Make sure you book in advance.

Great experience! Our waiter was very friendly and the hand rolls were great. We ordered the set, which was served individually by the chef at the counter.

We also ordered the wasabi cucumber and spicy tuna dip. I highly recommend the spicy tuna dip if you’re here. It’s a balance of spice, tuna, and crisp with the rice chips. It was my favorite dish!

Great meal! The spicy tuna dip appetizer was great, fantastic hand rolls. Really liked the churros and matcha cheesecake as well!

Zen hand roll eating experience. Everything here is great quality and at a decent price. I have been to this location four times and they always deliver a consistent product. I wouldn’t sleep on their spicy tuna dip or their tempura. I recommend getting a seat at the bar. The eating experience here is pretty quick since the seaweed can get soggy if you’re caught up in conversation.

One of my favorite spots in NYC to stop in for a quick and delicious lunch!
For first timers, starter temaki set is a great way to get a variety and add on individual rolls if they are not enough. I’ve tried nori chips (yum!!) and shishito peppers (they give you a lot and it’s good but I prob wouldn’t order again next time - more of a personal preference).
Not the cheapest lunch option but awesome if you’re looking for a nice spot to eat with friends or looking to dine solo and sit at the bar!

James and Tedd were absolutely amazing! Their skill and attention to detail really made our experience special. The sushi was fresh, beautifully prepared, and some of the best we’ve had. They were also incredibly kind and welcoming throughout the meal. To top it off, they surprised me with a complimentary dessert for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful gesture and not even something normally included. That extra touch made the night even more memorable. Thank you both for the outstanding service and incredible food! 🍣🎉

This place is sleek, the food is fresh, the tamaki counter is a delightful experience - worth every penny! Everything here is gluten free, I couldn't go wrong. I would love to try their Williamsburg, BK location.
All of the items we had were fantastic, but we especially loved the salmon! The food was so good, I forgot to take more photos....Sorry!

Good food!! I liked the appetizers better than the temaki, personally. The spicy tuna dip and fried chicken were both great. I loved the salmon sashimi.
The rolls were good!! They taste like.. sushi. Idk, I don’t have the most refined fish pallet.
One big minus was that the churros didn’t come with enough custard, so we asked for more. And then they charged us extra for it (even though our original serving was really small).
The atmosphere is super bright and well lit.
They did a great job of timing out our bites.

A favorite we go to regularly and for years has never disappointed. So delicious, fish and shellfish quality always fresh, inventive dishes. Highly recommend eating at the counter and getting your tenaki handrolls fresh one by one. Love the fries, the spicy tuna dip, and even the churros. Wonderful staff from the host to the bus people.

My friend and I made a reservation here on whim while visiting. SO glad we did! We did have to wait about 15 min after our reservation time as the table was still occupied. The host was fabulous thought and was working hard.

The starters were incredible (miso soup and spicy tuna dip), the temaki delicious, and the matcha cheesecake was a perfect finish. Can’t wait to come back!

great food experience. great vibes. super hype of course but still it feels cozy and natural. chefs are masters in temaki and the combination of flavours is magnificent. i suggest the rice crackers one after all because it adds crunchiness to your bite. all sea food is high level and prices are adequate at the food and service level.

This is a new favorite of mine! The service was good and the food was all fantastic I truly did not have one thing that was not very well executed. I highly recommend getting the signature or starter platters with a side it’s miso and fries (great take on fries btw)

The food was incredibly fresh and delicious 😍🍻— the flavors were so clean and naturally sweet that I was impressed with every dish. What truly surprised me, and what I can’t stop thinking about, was the wasabi cucumber tataki🥳. Who would have thought that something as simple as a cucumber dish could taste that amazing?

I’ll definitely be coming back!

From the moment I rang the restaurant, the service stood out — the gentleman on the phone called me back multiple times and made sure every detail was taken care of. That level of responsibility and care is rare.

Once I arrived, the atmosphere was stylish yet welcoming, and the hand-rolls were beautifully made and fresh. It’s clearly a place with both flair and quality.

If I’m being completely honest, a couple of the more experimental rolls were a bit too over-the-top for my taste. But overall, it was a very good experience — one I’d recommend when you’re looking for something a bit special and well-handled.

I visited this place after hearing from Korean students that it was the best meal they had in New York. The interior is clean and minimal, and the prices are relatively reasonable. The dishes are well-presented and neatly arranged, but the flavors and aromas are quite strong.
I ordered the signature set, and I still remember the sharp wasabi hit from the first bite and the overpowering ssamjang (fermented soybean paste) flavor on the sauce over cucumbers at the end. Although it’s a fusion Japanese restaurant, the taste was much bolder than I expected, which left me a bit disappointed.
As I walked out, I couldn’t help but wonder, was it really necessary to wrap such crisp, fried ingredients in seaweed? It’s a place worth trying once, but I wouldn’t say it’s a must-visit.
