I had a reservation for 6:30 pm and was waiting for the host to assign us to our table, we were the only ones waiting to be seated. The wait was fine, the bartender was kind enough to reassure us that someone was going to seat us. What soured the experience was that when the host came he bypassed my group (black and white interracial couple and family) and catered to the two white women who just arrived and had a reservation for 7:30 for a graduation dinner. The experience was unnerving, from being bypassed to the lack of eye contact from the host. The food was ok, and the waitress was attentive to us but I wouldn’t come here again.
An outstanding dinner of four including three meat plate, a chicken plate and sides of collards, coleslaw, cornbread and keylime pie and ice cream brownie for dessert. The brisket and chicken were fall off the bone tender and pork ribs smokey and savory. Key lime pie was tart and not overly sweet. The service was excellent and helpful friendly and professional. Got two brisket sandwiches to go. Dinner for six filled to bursting with a doggie bag fit for two was $340.00. I left a 30% tip because it was so reasonable. All this in a packed pre-Springsteen concert at the Barkley Center. Definitely coming back.
Came here to eat as always food is spectacular. We ordered the tinga Mac and cheese and the pork ribs. Everything was delicious but what made the experience even more enjoyable was our waiter Eddi.Eddi was so kind charismatic and understanding, he did his best to ensure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying ourselves. Thank you.
This BBQ spot definitely had its highs and a few misses, but overall it’s a place worth checking out.

Starting with the sides, the cornbread was solid and a great way to kick things off. The greens were also well done, but the coleslaw didn’t quite hit the mark for me—it could’ve used a bit more oil and flavor. The beans were just okay, nothing too memorable.

For the meats, the chicken was decent but leaned a little too heavy on that smoky BBQ flavor for my taste. The pulled pork and brisket were both okay—the brisket had a nice texture but was lacking that deep flavor you hope for. I have a feeling these might shine more earlier in the day when everything is fresher.

Now, the standout: the ribs. Easily the best thing on the table—tender, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a good BBQ joint.

And don’t skip dessert—the seasonal apple pie was absolutely amazing and a perfect way to end the meal.

On top of that, the service really stood out. The servers were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience more enjoyable.

Overall, I’d definitely come back, but next time I’ll aim to get there earlier to catch everything at its best.
Ordered takeout. Loved the pork ribs and fatty brisket. The chicken wings were small and the pulled pork a tad bit dry. The BBQ and blue cheese sauce helped it. All dishes were tasty.uber dropped it off on time.
We absolutely loved the Food we went to go have a sample of the food because I wanted to book them for catering for my birthday party. Eddie was so awesome. He helped us out so much. The food was amazing and we just had an overall great experience. We definitely will be going back.
Delicious American bbq , briskets etc. Eddie was very friendly and accommodating. Also cozy atmosphere. Loved it! 😍

Thank you Dorel. Glad you joined us. Hope to see you again soon.
A great find! Holy trinity platter + the nachos with brisket, everything was very tasty. Huge portions so took half away with us.

We weren’t checked on at all during the meal and didn’t enjoy the cold air every few minutes from the door which will effect every table except those around the corner I imagine
Food 2/5
Service 5/5
Ambience 2/5

This barbecue restaurant was on my list for months. Now that I was in the area I finally decided to check it out. Sadly, many items on the menu were not available. The original macaroni and cheese was absolutely disgusting. It was so watery literally 50% water no cheese. There was only cheese at the top. It didn’t even stick together. Not to mention it lacked flavor. Not even salt and pepper. You know it’s bad when a three year-old refuses to eat it. The pastrami short ribs 3/5. The coleslaw and fries were surprisingly good. The smoked chicken was ok once you added their in-house sweet bbq sauce. I will not be returning or recommending this place because of that but also they have some sort of plumbing issue a possible leak that is not being addressed. As the restroom smells like mold. Not to mention due to the set up of the restaurant a burst of cold air will hit you every 2 to 5 minutes due to the door being open so you’ll have to wear your coat while dining or freeze.
On a positive note, the entire team is very friendly. My waitress was amazing. The host was kind so was every employee we came across.
I ordered the pastrami beef rib which was shipped to my home. It is one of the ten best items of food I have ever eaten. Flavor and tenderness beyond description. Thank you!
I had a great time at Morgan’s BBQ! Everything was pretty solid across the board — food, drinks, and service. Our server Tim was excellent (no surprise he was “Employee of the Month”), and he made the experience even better.

The buffalo wings were hands-down my favorite dish — perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The mac & cheese was creamy and comforting, while the steak and chicken were both cooked well and satisfying. The collard greens could’ve used a bit more seasoning for my taste, but overall, the food was enjoyable. I’ve been to a lot of BBQ spots around the country, so I tried to keep my expectations neutral, but Morgan’s definitely holds its own.

Drink-wise, I absolutely loved my frozen margarita — refreshing, flavorful, and perfect for the atmosphere.

Speaking of the atmosphere, it was just right: lively but relaxed, with a great outdoor vibe. I enjoyed being in the mix of everything while still feeling like I had my own space.

I’d definitely come back — especially for the wings and margaritas!
We came for saturday early dinner and the space is intimate and quite small in terms of table size. The kale salad had good crunchy but the croutons wasnt too yummy. The service was nice, bbq table sauce was sweet, and the pork ribs was better in glazed.

My mocktail drink berry fizz was yummmmy but my friends' cocktails wasnt too good they didnt have a lot of liquor in them. We also ordered the half smoked chicken and I was surprised it came with green sauce It was so yummmmyy i love green sauce!!

The bathroom is nice, i didnt get to explore downstairs which the sign said has additional restroom. A bit sadd the collard greens didnt have any turkey bits in there. Coleslaw was alright. Overall, it was just ok.
I came to Morgan’s during restaurant week, and I was really impressed! For $30, their prix fixe menu was totally worth it—such a great deal considering the quality. The meat was the star of the show: flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. The smoky depth and seasoning were spot-on, and it paired well with the sides. I loved their mac & cheese, which complemented the BBQ nicely.

The atmosphere was chill, service was friendly, and the portions were generous. If you’re craving good BBQ at a solid price, this place is definitely worth checking out. I’d be back for sure!
