Amazing food here! Stopped for lunch and they were super quick and it tasted great. I recommend doing chicken and lamb together. The flavors will literally change your life
Get away from the tourist trap that other food carts are and try the authentic chicken shawarma from this spot. Chicken is super flavorful don’t even need the sauce. Fries are crispy. Each sauce blends in so well. Brother Ahmed is pushin quality not quantity and he’s been doing it right. Give these guys some love they working hard to get good quality food to the city.
Stopped by Mo Eats and honestly one of the better halal carts I’ve had in a while. Chicken was fresh, seasoned well, and the portions were solid. Rice and sauce were on point too. Fast service, good prices, and everything tasted fresh. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re craving halal food late night or just want a quick good meal.
Great service, asked me my sauce preference and executed beautifully, on top of that he made me a fatty wrap. Delicious food 10/10
The waiting time was too long. Only one person was working, and I placed my order at 1:25 PM but didn't receive my food until 1:45 PM. The food was average at best. I ordered chicken over rice, and the rice was undercooked and very hard. The chicken portion was small, the rice was generous, but the fries were very little. Overall, it's worth trying once, but for me personally, it's not worth it given the price and the wait time.
The Best Kept Secret in Midtown Just Got Exposed: Why Moe Eats NYC is a Game Changer

Let me tell you about Moe Eats NYC. It is a halal food truck at 120 W 49th St that is redefining what street food should be. It’s not just good for a quick bite; it’s good, period.

The Mixed Shawarma Platter is the real deal. I’m talking about chicken that’s impossibly juicy and lamb so flavorful it’s almost dangerous. Then there’s the yellow rice. Fluffy, fragrant, and bursting with spices, it blows every other truck’s rice out of the water. And the fries? Super crunchy, even with all the sauces on top. Throw in a creative touch like fresh spinach leaves, and you’ve got a meal that’s as balanced as it is satisfying.

What seals the deal is the hospitality. Meddy, son of the owner, is as warm and welcoming as they come. He treats every customer like a guest in his own home. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to ditch your sad desk salad and take a real lunch break.
Seriously good food and good service! The guy working was very kind and made everything to order, asking me customizations along the way. It’s best to pay in cash, and my chicken gyro was huge. Highly recommend!
Seriously, the best falafel I’ve ever had! Not only was the pita fresh and soft, and the falafel, moist and delicious, but it had french fries on it and crispy green salad. Did I mention the sauce? Tzatziki and hot sauce, just the perfect amount! So good! No, here’s the interesting part. Not to mention the fact that the guy (let’s call him Moe‘s son, because I didn’t catch his name) in the truck was incredibly busy and had orders backed up, but couldn’t possibly have been any nicer with his great big smile and his warm and caring manner. I can’t wait to come back to NYC to eat here again!
This guy runs the truck solo and somehow makes it look easy. He is genuinely kind, takes his time with every order, and makes you feel like a regular from the first visit.

The mixed platter is generous enough for two meals. Fresh chicken, flavorful yellow rice, and the white sauce is perfect. Best halal in Midtown, no competition.

If you're near 49th Street, stop by. You won't regret it.
Moe’s Eats was one of the best Gyros I’ve ever had! We stopped by his truck after passing by a huge line of people for another cart. We decided we would stick to the shorter line and take a chance- I am so glad we did! Moe was so nice and friendly and
made sure we got exactly what we wanted. The Gyro was SO good, the meat was tender and juicy. The sauce was literally the best sauce we’ve ever had, no joke, and we have had many Gyros. Moral of the story- Skip the line! Do not wait an hour for mediocre food and service! Go to Moe. Thanks Moe!!
Ahmad’s food was exceptional, with outstanding taste and quality. I do not understand why Adele Halal is so highly overrated; despite the long lines, the food is not worth the wait or the price.
MO Eats, on the other hand, deserves much more recognition. Although only one person works there, the service is accurate, humble, fast, and clean. People should give such businesses a fair chance instead of automatically waiting in long lines elsewhere without exploring better options.
So glad we stopped by for lunch, we got the mixed combo and it easily was enough for 2 people. On top of the generous serving, the food was so flavourful all the sauces complemented the chicken and lamb. If we lived in NYC I know this would be a regular

Next time you are in NYC don’t forget to stop by 🙏 Thankyou so much for your kind words!
Three of us got mixed platters- the fries were so crunchy and flavourful! The addition of spinach leaves was super creative. The chicken was tasty and juicy, lamb was insanely flavourful. And the vendor himself was extremely hospitable and kind!!!! Definitely get this over any other truck. The food was clean for sure, and the yellow rice was so fluffy and flavourful unlike other trucks I’ve tried platters from. (It was $45 for the three platters).

Thank you so much for the amazing review! We’re glad you enjoyed the food and service. Hope to serve you again soon!
Met Moe for the first time after seeing and reading the great experiences. I took my bowl home to eat because it was a long day and was ready to head back. I had the combo bowl with fries on top. I finished the bowl within 20 min because it was that good and I was excited for the next bite each time. I will have to make it a point to get over there once a week since its a good 10-15 min walk from my office. Excited to go back and eat from Moe again and will share to friends and family.
Response from the owner
Really appreciate you stopping by and sharing your experience! Glad you loved the bowl, can’t wait to serve you again soon!
