A gem in New York.
If you like Thai food you have to visit this place. The atmosphere is amazing and the food delicious. The employees are all very friendly, Popeye especially deserves a mention, she was the best of the night in addition to the food. If you don't know Thai cuisine you have no excuse, this is the time to discover it. This site deserves an award. The price is reasonable and the atmosphere spectacular. 10/10, believe me.

Probably the best restaurant I’ve visited in New York — they genuinely deserve six stars. The service is flawless, the atmosphere beautifully curated, and the menu showcases an impressive range of regional Thai cuisine.

We started with the grilled marinated chicken, which was simply sumptuous. For the mains, we chose the Krapraw Moo Sub and Pad Se‑Ew from the street‑food selection; every dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with authentic flavor.

This place is absolutely worth the visit. Reservations are essential unless you’re dining after 9 PM.
Wonderful food especially the fried fish with mango salad (PlaTod Yum MaMuang)—fish fillets were light & fluffy and the fresh tangy mango salad balanced it out perfectly! Sai Krok Isan sausages were tasty. Khao Pad Nam Prik Kak Moo (fried rice with pork belly) was a little on the sweet side. Thai tea ice cream sandwich was yummy! Our waitress Opor was Friendly and attentive. Trendy Thai decors.
Was here for an early spring weekday lunch - needed somewhere quick and food and found this place on Xiaohongshu. We arrived before the lunch crowd and the place filled up quickly after. It was spacious with a 2nd floor for the main crowd. We had pad see ew, duck fried rice and crispy duck and dumplings - the food arrived quickly and tasted really good. Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants we’ve tried in the US.
What an AMAZING restaurant! Had no reservation but joined line at 4:45 and was so fortunate to get seated at 5:10! Waitress was amazing and recommended dishes after we said no pork or beef. We ordered all three recommendations and loved them all. Enjoyed a Thai ice tea - very enjoyable! Started with Roti Massaman - dipping sauce was so tasty and just a touch spicy. We ordered Kao Soy Gai - chicken drumsticks with egg noodle in coconut milk broth soup bowl presentation. Meat fell off the bone! Also ordered Phuket Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken - oh my, it was delicious! Ended our meal with Thai ice cream sandwich - chai ice cream atop a sweet bun filled with sticky rice, peanuts and coconut jelly bean like treats. This was off the charts! DEFINITELY our favorite restaurant meal in quite some time - will be returning! Wish we lived closer to door dash - they had to go packages heading out often!
Amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. You can really tell the quality and care in the kitchen.

Our server, Cream L, was outstanding. Super attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Great service truly makes a difference, and she went above and beyond.

Definitely a place I would come back to and recommend!
It was our first time at Mitr after a recommendation from a friend. The entire experience was great and the food was fresh and amazing! Our group was mostly vegetarian and our server had the knowledge of what can be without the fish sauce, chicken broth, eggs or any substitutes and that helped with the overall experience. We ordered, Roti Massaman, Mango Avocado Salad, Pak Mor Puk, Phuket Pineapple Fried Rice, Green Curry, Basil Fried Rice and Massaman Curry.

Among all these, Roti Massaman, Green Curry and Basil Fried Rice were my absolute favorites!
Mitr Thai is easily one of the best Thai spots in the city. The restaurant has a modern, stylish vibe while still feeling warm and welcoming — perfect for both casual dinners and date nights.

The food was outstanding. Every dish was packed with authentic flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The spice level was well-balanced and customizable, which I really appreciated. Service was friendly and efficient even during busy hours.
Today was my first time at Mitr Thai and I enjoyed the food so much. My server Pawi recommended some of their popular dishes and we ordered the larb khor moo for a starter and it was one of my favorite dishes. We also got the kao soy kua neur, in which the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the Khao pad nam prik kak moo, which had the perfect amount of crunch. I also ordered a mocktail called Counterpunch which was delicious. 10/10 food and dining experience and will definitely be back!
The food was outstanding. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of authentic Thai flavors — vibrant, balanced, and incredibly satisfying. You can truly taste the quality and care in each bite.

A special thank you to our server, Cream L. She made the night even more memorable. Cream was attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful throughout the entire evening. Her recommendations were spot on.
Our server Gina was meticulous and fantastic! I live great service with an excellent meal.
The meal was fresh and delicious and service was quick. Highly recommended! Had the crispy pork and noodles and the shrimp fried rice. Add on steamed dumplings! Also green tea for two!
Can’t say enough about how good the food was. So flavorful and authentic! No complaints about the food!!
Pictured: Green Curry (very hot even for someone who can eat hot food), Basil Fried Rice, Massaman Curry.

Only complaint was the drink - the Bittersweet Treat. It tasted straight up like alcohol and was probably one of the worst cocktails we have tried. They look great but taste like surgical instrument cleaner.

The place is buzzing and we highly recommend a reservation! Great service and kind staff!
Our waiter alex was amazing. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and was very quick with out requests. It was pur first time there but he made it a great and better experience. Food was great quality but nothing out of this world which makes me think it's a tad overpriced given that I got. Again, the quality was amazing but flavors were signature but lacking that x factor thag makes me think it's amazing
I highly recommend Mitr Thai Restaurant, but be sure to get a reservation. The place is beautifully decorated, and the amazing food truly justifies the high ratings. The curry puffs melted in our mouths, while the roti massaman and chicken pad see-ew were both incredible. The green curry and fried rice were also good, though the khao soi gai was just okay.
Just a block away from Time Square! Love how convenient it is located. So glad we made the reservation in advance. Nice atmosphere and the hosts were welcoming.

Our table was ready when we got there. (They would only bring you to the table if everyone in your party had arrived). When we sat down, we were told that we have 1.5 hour dining time, a little pressure to decide what to order from the extensive menu, especially when there are no pictures next to the dishes names! Our server was helpful when recommending the dishes and he asked us multiple times if anyone has food allergies. We appreciated that!

With the dining time limit, we decided to order a few simple traditional dishes like Pad Thai and Pineapple fried rice. The mango salad was quite tasty though the avocado on the top had brown patches. The sautéed prawns and squid was delicious, definitely everyone’s favorite. Would love to try their curry beef next time!
