We came across this place the night before a cruise out of Cape Liberty, NJ and today's lucked out. We got in late after travelling and were able to order 10 minutes before last call. The salads were good although there was no way to avoid the arugula and spring mix stuff in it. I just picked all that out and there was still enough salad to enjoy.

The best part of the meal was their version of chicken fingers: zingers. They had the perfect amount of thin, light breading on them and they were delicious and tasted like chicken. They are tied with the best chicken fingers I have ever had in my entire life. Seriously. I wish we had a Miller's Ale House up in VT or NH. What a great place and sports bar. I'm so jealous of civilization...

I went there last night with my boyfriend and we both had a great experience! The vibe was super chill and welcoming. On top of that, I accidentally left my bag with my wallet, and when I called the next morning, the manager had it safely in his office. Everything was exactly as I left it, even the cash. That really says a lot about the place and the people. Highly recommend!

Thank you for making our day, Patricia!

I had a great experience dining here! We came in with a large group on March 4th, Scott and staff were incredibly accommodating from the moment we arrived. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The service was excellent throughout the entire meal, it really made the visit enjoyable. It’s always nice to go somewhere where the team genuinely cares about the customer experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Response from the owner

Another Raving Fan! Thanks for sharing, Sabrina.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was my first time at Miller’s Ale House, and I was honestly impressed. The service was friendly from the moment I walked in, and the food came out fast, fresh, and full of flavor. The vibe was relaxed but lively, making it a great spot to unwind. For a first visit, they definitely set the bar high. I’ll be coming back for sure.

It's my first time coming to Miller's ale House with JCC. I guess you could say I had a weird, but good time there. And when I say weird I meant the people who I was with that had other feelings towards their self. When I went inside, it looked like more of a bar than a restaurant. Everything is made up of wood and gloss paint. There were a bunch of fish plaques and neon beer signs all over the place. I was trying to enjoy myself but I didn't felt like I did. Other than that, i did have some good food that was like post super bowl stuff, fan favorites. I ordered a western bacon blue cheese Burger with fries 🍟🍔 I did say before I got here, I want no know drink with my meal because I already have it. But I got it anyway. When I got my meal, there was no ketchup in one bottle of the table where I sat in. I asked the waitress for another ketchup bottle. She came back 5 minutes later with no ketchup. I mean it's not her fault that she was pretty occupied with other things. The food was pretty good 😊 but the price is here was totally expensive. $15.99 for burger and fries and $3.99 for a drink. All of that was equal to $21.00 plus service fee and taxes is now $25 in total amount. 🫢 I don't know if someone added a tip or maybe the meal was a higher price than the menu. If I came back here again, maybe I'll let myself pay it and choose a better option. My experience here didn't make me mad in silence. I was a little disappointed with the company I'm with and did. 😊😐😤

Response from the owner

Thank you for sharing such detailed feedback, Micah. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your meal!

We apologize for the mix-up with the drink and for the delay in getting ketchup to your table. Even when our team is busy, we know those small details matter and can impact the overall experience.

Regarding your total, we do not automatically add gratuity to guest checks. Menu items are individually priced, and taxes are applied at checkout, which can change the final amount. If you ever have questions about your bill during your visit, a manager would be more than happy to review it with you.

We truly appreciate you giving us a try and hope that if you decide to visit again, we’ll have the opportunity to provide a smoother and more enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Solid spot for sports and eats on Staten Island. Went for wings (Zingers were crispy and saucy—great flavors), a burger, and cold drafts while catching a game. Food was tasty and portions generous, service friendly and quick despite being busy, but the vibe is typical chain sports bar—lots of TVs, loud during games, not super cozy. Good value for a casual hang with friends or family. Around $25-35 per person. We'll be back for game days!

Response from the owner

This made our day! Thanks for sharing, korra!

We had a great experience at Miller’s Ale House, and Peter truly made the visit exceptional. From the moment we were seated, he was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, checking in at all the right times without being intrusive. He made sure everything came out exactly as ordered and was genuinely invested in us having a great meal.

The food was outstanding—everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell care was put into the preparation. The overall atmosphere was comfortable and enjoyable, and the service really elevated the experience.

Huge thanks to Peter for top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back and will ask for him again!

I've been coming to Miller's for years and it's disappointing to say it's really gone downhill.
On this visit and a couple of recent ones l noticed a big change in the overall atmosphere.I personally witnessed a shorter female manager speaking aggressively and belittling employees, which was uncomfortable to watch as a customer. The place used to feel lively and welcoming, but now the energy feels off. The servers are always great and do their best, but they look miserable lately, which makes me think the issue is with management. On top of that, the food quality doesn't seem as good as it used to be. I've always loved Miller's, but after today I felt the need to leave a review. I really hope things improve because this used to be one of my favorite spots and unfortunately I don’t feel the urge to return to eat here.

This is one awesome sports bar, TVs everywhere, they had hockey on-screen, too! I took my mother there for brunch and everything was excellent - my mother was very happy. We are definitely going back there.

Miller's is a bit old school but the food and service never disappoints. My Caesar salad was well dressed! Most places splash your salad with dressing. My zinger mac and cheese was so good I forgot to take a pic.

I once had a Niçoise salad there, SO GOOD! Best I've had at a restaurant. The fries are well seasoned and zingers are good. The osso bucco is good as well. Honestly they are a bit better than 🍎 🐝.

The place was not busy it was Thursday late afternoon.
The chicken wings were amazing with 3 choices of sauce. Honey mustard, that's chili and bbq peach. The first batch of honey mustard was watery, but the young lady exchanged it for us, so it became perfect.
I had the iron flat with fried shrimp with mash potato as a side and steamed veggies. All good except for the gravy which I found was salty.
My husband had the ribeye, baked potato and a salad, he was very happy with his meal.
The environment was great not so loud and the server was amazing she was attentive to our needs she kept checking on us.

Response from the owner

Thanks for the great review, K! We appreciate your support and can't wait to see you again at Miller's Ale House - Staten Island!

We have eaten at different Miller’s Ale house locations and we’re never this disappointed. First the waitress only brought out the meat and waited to give me my vegetables. The same pasta dish my husband got a week ago , looked undercooked and sadly unappetizing. We both left very disappointed and unhappy with our food. So sad that this location is not worth going to.

We ordered food to be delivered through a food delivery app. So we got chicken quesadillas it was good actually. But check the photos for the steak which is of course the most expensive plate that we ordered, I am not sure how a steak burned like that went out of the kitchen, unless they didn't really care since it's a delivery order "how can a customer complaint". Even the sides the fries and the vegetables were so bad, the fries were very greasy and mushy, the veggies were bland and mushy as well. We also ordered the zingers which is supposed to be their signature but we got zingers that seemed to have been fried at least 8 times over and over again. The pictures actually have the food some color it was really a bad experience. It's worth to mention we ordered at 9 PM so don't order late apparently you get food that's been sitting in their kitchen all day.

We arrived in NY from CO after midnight. Seeking a [local] restaurant that was still serving, and found Miller's. What a wonderful place! I had the snow crab legs with mac & cheese & house made kettle chips, my husband had the Zingers salad. The food was wonderful! Our waitress Rosemarie was so lovely .. She was friendly, personable and attentive. The place is much bigger than we had anticipated. Lots of seating & tons of televised sports. Loved this place!

Response from the owner

Woo-hoo! Go, Rosemarie! So glad to hear about your awesome experience, Sharon. We can't wait to see you again and serve you another Raving experience! - Miller's Ale House - Staten Island
