Overpriced, mediocre food. 93degree heat and the restaurant was hotter than the outside. Spent around 34 per person. A drink and sandwich. 10 dollars for a drink each. 10 dollars for a matcha that was simply sugary milk. And 10 dollars for a mango drink. Fries were soggy.

I paid for two plates with bacon omelette with goat cheese and "home fries" and toast. SMALL PORTIONS !
omelette was overcooked
Potatoes were mostly boiled and seasoned but lacked actual flavor. not grilled like expected.

We also ordered 2 sunny side up eggs with potatoes , with a sausage link and a bacon slice , salad and toast.

Eggs need flavor!salt and pepper please! lol
Potatoes need salt as-well,
Side salad was delicious with a balsamic vinaigrette.
Chicken sausage was a bit under cooked(careful!)

Chill atmosphere, plenty of staff around.
The cashier was good at her job but not friendly.
They have a great iced americano and the lattes are nice too with pretty latte art.the banana milkshake was amazing!
The banana bread was also amazing , thumbs up to the bakery that sells it to the establishment.

Bathroom was very smelly, there's a lack of cleanliness there.
I wanted to try it this place out but first impressions weren't good.
Owners need to pay more attention to the kitchen, train accordingly or hire
Someone who can be in charge of this, in terms of flavor and cooking times.

Just an honest review (owners, don't try to explain why something isn't up to par to your customers, actually put time and effort to make things better) good luck
Food is very good. Because it was a little crowded and they were probably a bit understaffed, service was just okay (not bad at all, but I can understand they looked like they were working really hard). Other than that it's a good place and I would definitely try other things on the menu.
Went in with high expectations to have brunch with my husband. The service was slow, no water served to us, coffee was cold and then all of a sudden all three entrees were brought out. Ordered rustic pastrami sandwich-was okay. Ordered the chicken flatbread-was really bad. The chicken was undercooked and my husband threw up. Shouldve taken that as a sign before trying the creme brulee french toast. Im allergic to blueberries and asked to have them removed and only keep bananas. It came without the bananas. Whatever. I tried it and immediately i wanted to throw up. There was such a bad sour taste in my mouth that i physically could not eat it.

Im extremely disappointed and will not be relying on tiktok hype anymore. Good thing is the girl who served us apologized and said she would escalate to her manager to have a refund given to us.
Response from the owner
Hello,
We’re sorry to hear that your visit didn’t meet expectations, that’s never the experience we want for our guests.
We do want to clarify a couple of points so we can be fully transparent. During your visit, the concern that was brought to our team’s attention was regarding the French toast, and we addressed it right away by issuing a full refund. The additional concerns mentioned in your review, including the flatbread, were not raised with us at the time, which would have allowed us to look into and correct them immediately.

We also want to reassure you and anyone reading this that our chicken is always fresh, handled carefully, and cooked thoroughly to proper standards. Food safety is something we take very seriously, and we would never knowingly serve undercooked food.

That said, we take all feedback seriously. We’re reviewing this internally with our kitchen team and reinforcing service standards to ensure consistency with things like water service, timing, and order accuracy.

We appreciate you acknowledging that our server apologized and escalated the situation, that is the level of care we expect from our team.

Thank you for your feedback.
The pizza was delicious, with great flavor and excellent preparation. However, the service was not as good. I asked what their best dish was, and the response was simply pointing at the first thing they saw, without offering a real opinion or recommendation. Even if the place works almost like self service, I expected at least some proper guidance since it was my first time there.
One of the best cafes in NYC! We tried a few different things and were impressed across the board. The steak sandwich and flatbreads are 10/10. Coffees were also good. Everything is Halal.
So my daughter called and ask me out for breakfast and if your daughter is buying why not. She took me to Milk and Honey we waited no more than 3 min. The waiter came very nice young man I forgot his name took our orders. I ordered the Mexican breakfast I forgot the name and forgot to take a picture of the menu my daughter ordered something of cause I forgot that to, ( look I was hungry I was not thinking strait ). My Mexican wrap was ok I was expecting it to come with Salsa but nope none 😩😩 so I just asked for some hot sauce. I also order hot tea which came in a glass bottle and from the look it did not look strong and thats the reason I walked with a tea bag from home, I put it right in that bottle which made it taste so much better. My daughter ate some of the 2 meals she ordered I took her sourdough bread which I felt was missing that sourdough smell that I crave that drives me to learning how to make it at home yeap I love the smell that much and have been trying from last year but it's cool I would get it right one day. Ok so it's an ok place not somewhere I would go again as it's small and the tables are very close like there was a guy sitting next to me that was coughing and I was thinking lord please don't get me sick. There is one toilet that does not have a name on it it was ok the seat was a little lose but ok. Parking can be a challenge and if you use a wheel chair I guess they will remove a chair or 2 to accommodate you. It is nicely decorated and has seating outside I guess in the spring and summer. Which for me would be a big problem with 1 bathroom ( shh am diabetic so at times sugar needs to get out via the bladder) . But hey try the place at lease one time I saw a baby high chair there so parents don't be scared just GO.
I returned to the Brooklyn location after about two years and noticed they’ve renovated the space. The dine-in area feels smaller than I remember, and there’s no table service, you order first and then find an open seat or wait for one to free up.

We ordered the Chef Brekkie Pan and the Rustic Pastrami Arugula Melt, and both were excellent. I’ve tried several other dishes in the past, including through Uber Eats, and everything has consistently been delicious. The food here never disappoints.
I had such a wonderful experience here! The staff was incredibly welcoming and provided excellent service from start to finish. The food was delicious—fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. I have been to both locations & the atmosphere is amazing as well, with a cozy, relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay longer. Whether you’re grabbing coffee or sitting down for brunch, this place is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back!
Came to visit because they are opening a new location in my building. The food was pretty good but i was disappointed that i got mayo on my Croque Madame instead of bechamel sauce. The place was really dirty. Almost left because of it. Also the employees were cleaning the tables with window cleaner. Im a Senior Assistant manager in a restaurant and this looked pretty disappointing. Hope ots different on the new location.
Response from the owner
Hi Julie,
Thank you so much for stopping by and for sharing your honest feedback with us. We’re really glad you enjoyed the food, and we’re sorry to hear that some parts of your visit didn’t feel as smooth as they should have.
Your Croque Madame should definitely come with béchamel, not mayo, that was our mistake, and we’re making sure the team is aligned so it doesn’t happen again.
For the cleaning products and the dining room, we hear you. We always use food-safe sanitizers on tables, but we understand how it could be confusing if a bottle wasn’t labeled clearly. We’re fixing that right away and also reminding our team to keep the space looking its best at all times.
We truly appreciate you taking the time to point these things out. Feedback like yours helps us grow and make sure every guest feels comfortable and cared for. We hope we get the chance to welcome you back soon, and we’re excited for you to see the new location when it opens.
Had a lovely brunch at Milk & Honey Café! The French toast was absolutely amazing. We also tried the croissant sandwich, salmon Eggs Benedict, and the Habibi breakfast plate—solid 8/10. The Egyptian egg sandwiches had a bit too much spice for my taste, maybe a 6/10. The atmosphere is great, though! I do wish they had a kids’ menu.
We found this place off TikTok. It was such a cute vibe. When we decided to actually view the place, the service was fairly short. But overall, the atmosphere was very nice. Overall, a little bit left to expect it. But we will come back
• We chose this café because it looked very nice, clean, and elegant in the Google Maps photos. Unfortunately, the reality did not match the pictures.
• The place was not well organized or very clean, which was disappointing.
• We had friends visiting from another country and invited them here, but when we saw the atmosphere, we even thought about leaving. We decided to stay only because we were short on time.
• The cashier gave us the menus and said we could sit anywhere and come back to the counter to order. There were six of us, so my husband took everyone’s order and went to pay at the counter.
• The food came quickly, and it tasted good — thankfully! The food was halal, which we appreciated.
• However, we had to go to the counter every time we wanted coffee or even water, and we had to pay separately each time.
• Despite having many employees, no one paid attention to the tables. The service system and management really need improvement.
• Prices were a bit high for the quality and service level.
• Parking was also difficult. Even on a Sunday, we had to park quite far away on another street.
• Around lunchtime, it became very crowded.

👉 The food was delicious, but overall, the experience was not comfortable.
Next time, I would only order takeout, not dine in. Still, thank you.
Response from the owner
Hi Diamond!
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We’re truly sorry to hear that your visit didn’t match what you expected from the photos, that’s never the impression we want guests to leave with.
We take pride in keeping our space clean and welcoming, so it’s surprising to hear this and we’ll be reviewing it closely with the team. Our café is designed for casual dining with a self-service style, but we completely understand how that might have felt inconvenient during a larger group visit.
We’re glad you enjoyed the food and appreciated that everything is halal, that means a lot to us. We’ll also look into how we can make the experience smoother for guests, especially those dining in groups.
Thank you again for visiting and for being so thoughtful in your feedback, we hope you’ll give us another chance to make your next experience a more comfortable one.
It was horrible, having spent over $60, and the food was below average. The chicken club sandwich was very dry and bland and the French crème brulee was so dry, and it was like they tossed two bread pieces with a spoonful mushy
berries, no cream or banana, not sweet just plain bland.
I called many time no one picked up, I am so disappointed at the take out. And even at the store the wait time was over 40 minutes for takeout, which would be fine but not with this quality of food.
The only okay thing was the steak
Panini sandwich. I tried reaching out numerous times but no one picked up and even the voice mail was full that I couldn’t leave a message.
Response from the owner
Hi Urooj,
We’re truly sorry your takeout experience fell short, especially with the wait time, difficulty reaching us, and food that didn’t meet expectations. That’s not the standard we aim for, and we understand how frustrating that must have been.
We’ve shared your feedback with our kitchen and front of house teams to make sure quality, portion, and communication improve immediately. Since many guests love our crème brûlée French toast and chicken club, it’s important to us that you experience them at their best.

We’d like to invite you back for a complimentary dish of your choice so we can make things right and give you the level of quality and service we’re proud of.
This is definitely a hidden gem. We went here on Father's day on a whim. We were pleasantly surprised to find some seating on such a busy day. Despite being so busy, they managed to get our orders correct and provide us with delicious flavorful food. Everything on my plate was a home run! My coffee was even perfect. I could see this being the most perfect place to have a nice quiet breakfast on a weekend or weekday morning. We will definitely be back!
