Midnight Express Diner

Very successful. I really liked it. It was the best breakfast I've had in New York in a long time.

Used to order from here on a weekly basis. The past three orders I’ve placed were simply a bacon & cheddar omelet. The first week I got broccoli and American cheese. The second week I got only American cheese. The third week I got ham and American cheese. On top of that my girlfriend ordered pancakes and over easy eggs. When she got, it the eggs were stacked on top of the pancakes and the yolk broken.<br><br>The more obnoxious part is that they ask me to double check the ticket EVERY time and the ticket is correct.<br><br>They used to be reliable, but now seems they need to step up their quality control…especially when you’re charging New York prices.

Shouldn’t be as expensive as it is but food and service always good. Nice people there and their meals are consistent. Delivery always packed great too with everything you need.<br>Also the BEST chocolate milkshakes!!

I don’t always write reviews but I really loved my experience at Midnight Express. It’s been really hard to find a good diner these days, but Midnight Express impressed me in several ways. First, as soon as I sat down I was asked if I wanted coffee, and my cup was never empty, they were always refilling it. Next, I ordered eggs over medium, rarely does this order get made correctly but the eggs were perfectly cooked. And I would say my favorite thing about the meal was real home fries! Not the soggy potato lumps. These were crisp and flavorful. That is really rare at diners these days! The staff is great, the food is great, and also a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful time having breakfast with a friend at Midnight Express!!! Its a great diner with all the classics you'd expect. My only complaint is a minor one - please add a single pancake side to the menu!!! We really wanted a table pancake to split with our eggs Benedict and we were told it wasn't an option. You are seriously missing out not offering a solo pancake upsell!!! Otherwise it was a delicious visit!!

Ordered a burger for pickup and it was the worst experience. Tried to convince me they didn’t do toppings on burgers and had to order them all as “sides” only to not put the toppings I was charged for but layered on onions. Also got the milkshake order wrong. 0/10 experience and overcharges with zero follow through.

Very nice place... Good food, good service, nice atmosphere.. Omelettes, pancake, French toast, coffee.. these were very tasty and liked the big portions and loads of French fries with them, reasonably priced, the waiter was good at his job, very friendly and gave good advice on menu, will surely go again and recommend to others, on the menu he described each kind of omelette and other menu too.. Pleasant experience, atmosphere was nice and cozy, not noisy.., coffee was good and was served two three times (topping up). It is close to our place we could easily walk there.. service.. overall experience..

We found this place by chance and decided to have dinner here. The place looks really good and the atmosphere of the diner is old fashioned but in a good way. The food was pretty good and the portion is nice. I highly recommend if you want to grab a good and hearty meal.

Midnight Express Diner never fails to provide me with a fantastic and warm experience. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming, with cozy lighting and comfortable booth seating. Their service is quick and on point. The menu contains every possible craving you could have. Definitely a favorite late night spot. Thanks for all the good experiences!!

It's nice.<br>To see some things don't change in a good way. I haven't been to this diner in ages.And bringing my son with my grandmother until here.For breakfast.2 days in a week was awesome.The food was fresh, large portions and amazing.Amazing service can't have enough good things to say

The ambiance is more fresh and modern than the old-school diners.<br>The soup was delicious. I had the chicken noodle soup, they could have added a little more chicken. Service was very attentive and friendly.

I visited this gem at midnight on a Saturday night. It was busy but not packed, and I was greeted and seated immediately. The two waiters who helped me were very sweet guys. The food was amazing, and they serve generous portions! I got the breakfast platter and wasn't disappointed with anything. Chocolate chip pancakes, breakfast potatoes, eggs how I want them, and turkey bacon. They have milkshakes too! I'll be back anytime I'm in the area.

This place always hits especially after working a night shift! I love that it’s 24/7. You definitely get your money’s worth because the portions are big and shareable. The farmers omelette and Nutella banana pancakes are delicious. The crepes are also great. One of my favorite breakfast spots.

It was my first time here, and only because it was the only place open at 4am in the morning without walking too far.<br>I ordered pickup online. I got a chicken caprese panini. It smelled good and looked good with green lettuce, red sundried tomatoes, and white grilled chicken breast. However, the chicken was extremely tough and dry. You can see the stringy fibers in the photos. The bread was alright. The flavor was okay with the fragrance of pesto. The environment was clean. The staff were alright, but again, what do you expect before dawn. Even so, I’m still quite disappointed.

My adventure to New York has lasted 6 days and every day, I have come to this dinner. It is that good, no joke. Good food! Wonderful atmosphere! The Jewish parts of the restaurant where very wonderful. Kind employees! Although sometimes they are tired because they are open 24/7. But overall a wonderful place and am so glad that I found this place! And thank you so much to the staff it was a wonderful experience and I will 100% be coming back next time I am in New York! ❤️❤️🕎🕎
