Absolutely the best diner in NYC I’ve been to. Amazing menu and food quality. Highly recommend this diner to all New Yorkers that want a authentic experience.

I dont know if i was more disappointed with the food or the illegible reciept provided. Ordered vodka penne pastsa w salmon. Scored a 0. Also my daughter had a chicken parm. It was terrible. I ordered a lemonade. They served it in a plastic cup. I was appauled. I wont be returning. Highly priced garbage in my opinion. To top it all off i was given a reciept i could not unerstand because it was a hand written mess. No formal reciept was generated or available. It felt so illegal. Scored 0 out of 100.

Classic delicious American diner style breakfast with great prices, huge portions, wonderful service, and quick service!! A perfect spot near Columbia university for a quick, filling breakfast and a huge menu to choose from!!

Absolutely terrible experience. The service was beyond rude from start to finish. Our waiter had a nasty attitude, wouldn’t make eye contact, and acted like we were an inconvenience just for being there. I took my mother out for breakfast and we were treated like we didn’t belong.<br><br>To make things worse, as we were leaving, another staff member bumped into my daughter and didn’t even apologize…just shook her head and walked away. Completely unacceptable.<br><br>I’ve never experienced such disrespect at a restaurant in NY. Clearly there is a serious issue with how staff are trained or managed. In a city where everything is big price small plate, it’s refreshing to see how much you get for. The pictures do not do it justice. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Salad which was massive with a huge amount of tuna, greens, and sauce on the side. I thought the sauce on the side was a nice touch. They do make the tuna medium rare, so if you don’t like that then tell them to cook it well done. Then I ordered the Salmon Rigatoni (in cream sauce), the salmon pieces they give you are absolutely huge and it’s all top quality salmon cooked to perfection. There wasn’t a little either, there was a lot. Both dishes I had were created perfectly in flavors, textures, and doneness, and were uncommon for typcial diners to have but more than welcomed in my book. The service I received during my visit was nothing short of excellent, the server I had was attentive and never let my cup of soda go empty and brought my food out very quickly. Also it is worth mentioning, the decor of this place is very beautiful. It’s both modern and retro, while being modest. In short, this is one of the nicest experiences I’ve ever had at a diner in the city.

Perfect diner setup on the UWS. Walked-in at prime time on a snowy Saturday and got seated right away.<br><br>Arnie, our server, was friendly and welcoming. Our order included small coffee ($2.95) with unlimited refills thanks to their attentive staff, California Omelette, Berry Waffles, and Huevos Rancheros.<br><br>Food was as per expectation, pretty tasty and perfect portions! Noise levels on the lower end, easy to have conversations, and bright ambiance.<br><br>Will be our go-to diner!

Went Twice with my husband and we absolutely loved our food. One of our orders did come back wrong but they quickly fixed it and sent us a fresh order. Very accommodating!! So cute for a classic diner spot , not expensive at all!

What a menu! It was hard for me to choose what I wanted for breakfast when we visited here. The diner is lovely and clean and the staff are so friendly and polite. If I didn’t live across the ocean I’d come here every week.

If only they were open late.<br><br>It’s solid diner fare. Nothing is amazing but nothing is bad either. The pastrami is above average for a diner. Burgers are solid as is most breakfast. It’s $$$ for what it is.<br><br>Weekend breakfast will be packed, especially before noon.<br><br>Service is fast, indifferent and efficient.

After a doctor's appointment, we wanted to eat breakfast. We google to find a place and this was the result. There was no wait time. The server was quick to serve coffee immediately. The location was clean, and the decor was nice. Tje food was served quickly, and it was good. I will definitely return.

Classic old school New York diner in the heart of the Upper West Side. If you’re looking for that real diner feel this is the place to go. Booths with mid century modern and vinyl coverings, Formica or faux-woodtop tables. Everybody enjoyed their food which included banana pancakes (a big hit), waffles with strawberries, chicken tenders, a salad, and the veggie burger. There are not many choices here for vegans (hence the four stars) but the veggie burger was decent, though it came dry with neither lettuce nor tomato. Coffee was hot and service was fast and friendly. Prices seemed a touch on the high side but if you want a diner with all the traditional diner fare this is a great choice.

Whenever I travel to America I have to visit a traditional diner - this is my ‘go to’ on visits to New York and one of my all time favourites- the food is totally unpretentious, traditional and fabulously delicious. It maybe a little off the beaten track for most visitors to the city but it is 100% worth a visit - you will not be disappointed.

One of our top 5 diner experiences and tastiest food selections in NYC. My first time, sure won't be my last. The Cream of Turkey soup was a hit, the Chicken Scampi dinner was tasty, that strawberry Cheesecake was ahhhh-mazing, and the hot chocolate with Whipped Cream was flavorful (and satisfying on a cold day) 😋. The lemonade was great, homemade too! Fresh food, freshly prepared, attentive service, great location (within walking distance of trains) and not overly expensive. The foot traffic confirmed this place is a gem. 😌

Good food for a coffee shop. Too bad you cant get a medium rare burger. Came out medium but still good. Generous pour on the house red that wasnt bad and for under $10. Service on point though no one looks happy there. Barely a hello and they avoid eye contact.
