⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Love this establishment! The staff is friendly, welcoming, and provides wonderful service from start to finish. The food is always freshly prepared, delicious, and served in a clean, sanitary environment. The shish kebab was especially outstanding—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. You can tell they take pride in both their food and customer experience. Highly recommend Memo Shish Kebab to anyone looking for great food and great people!

Several serious problems. I came to have dinner. Very few people there but after requesting menus we waited 10 minutes and were given an an attitude. We finally got our food after an additional 25 minutes and the meat items were severely over cooked. Sent back 2 items. One came back with several strands of hair on it. Brought this to the attention of the manager. Clearly appears she could care less. Didn't try to accommodate us in any way shape or form. Absolutely deplorable. Paid the bill and they had the never to charge us a service fee for using a credit card. While leaving and walking to our car we saw two large rats coming out of the back of the restaurant. Took a video of all of this. Ask yourself one question. Do you want to go through this? Do you want to possibly be subjected to getting sick??

I love Memo. I’ve been coming here for around 20 years. The food is great, the bread is great, and they have the best hot sauce anywhere. Anytime I bring someone here for the first time they fall in love and come back again. You can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu. I hope this place stays open for ever.

Food was excellent, the young waiter was very friendly.

Only thing is he never came to check to make sure everything was ok and I say that in case he sees this, to help him.

The portions were a nice size, especially the falafel 🥙 pita. Hummus was delicious and so was the Shepard Salad.

Oh, and the bread they give was also fresh, warm and delicious.

Very clean and a nice presentation overall.

I ordered the lamb doner kebab and I do think this is the most authentic Turkish cuisine you will find in New York City I enjoyed the Donna kebab I thought it was made perfectly well very fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend checking this place out in Brooklyn New York.

Unfortunately, the food seemed spoiled. It also had excessive oil, strong spices, and too much vinegar, which made it feel like the taste was being covered up. The dish was unpleasant and impossible to enjoy. Very disappointing experience. I hope the restaurant improves freshness and quality.

If you would like to experience a true Turkish diner, you should definitely go there. It resembled an Istanbul restaurants for me, the way the tables are, the service and also the food. It’s not a posh or a fancy place, I wouldn’t go there on a date, but for sure visit this place here & there, whenever I miss and crave something Turkish.

Had been here for the first time. We got hummus with bread, chicken gyro and kebab platter and lamb gyro and chicken gyro platter. Also got baklava. Really liked the flaky and fresh baklava but the main course was pretty average. Chicken and lamb gyro meat was tasteless not even salt added. $25 for a bland meal. On top of that, they also charge for water. Imagine not even getting water for free to wash down the tasteless meal. Decent place for desserts but stay away from entrees.

The chicken adana was amazing, and i loved how it was a tomato/cucumber/red onion salad instead of a big leafy one bc the fresh acidity paired well with the rest. the kunefe was good as well, but the menu showed it with pistachio and they served us one with walnut instead so i was a bit disappointed by that. No picture, but the calamari is very tender and it’s served with a cream sauce instead of a tomato one, and it was a different but tasty change from the usual

I am not from Brooklyn but was looking for a good place to eat after my meeting around the area. I stumbled into this gem and was delightfully surprised by how amazing everything was! The place is spacious and clean. The food was fresh and delicious and the service was so warm and wonderful! Sezen took good care of me and made me feel right at home. I ordered lamb Adana - it was very juicy and flavorful. I’ve been craving for some caffeine too and tried the Turkish coffee for the first time - it was perfect and sure hit the spot. I also loved the baklava and hot tea they graciously offered after paying the bill. The hot tea really helped warm me up before I headed back in the frigid, snowy weather. The location is convenient to commuters, is close to the train and some parking spaces around the block. I would highly recommend to those who happen to be in the area and would like to enjoy a warm, delicious and comforting meal and hospitable service.

Terrible food, dry and tasteless. The service is at a very low level. I don't recommend eating here to anyone; everything is not fresh, some of it even spoiled, I have suspicions!!!

A Five-Star Feast at Memo Turkish Grill!
Memo Turkish Grill and Restaurant has truly mastered the art of Turkish cuisine, earning every bit of this five-star review! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by incredibly friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The restaurant itself is spotlessly clean, creating a welcoming and comfortable dining experience whether you choose to sit in, take out, or have your delicious meal conveniently delivered.
What truly sets Memo apart is its large variety of dishes. The menu is a delightful journey through Turkish flavors, offering something for every palate. Every dish we tried was clearly made with fresh ingredients, a commitment to quality that shines through in every bite. The flavors are, for the most part, wonderfully authentic, transporting you straight to the bustling streets of Istanbul.
Whether you're craving succulent kebabs, flavorful mezzes, or traditional pides, Memo delivers. The attention to detail, from the perfectly grilled meats to the vibrant salads, is evident. It's rare to find a restaurant that excels in so many areas, but Memo Turkish Grill does just that. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking a top-notch Turkish dining experience. We can't wait to go back!

If you like a Turkish cuisine you definitely will enjoy simple but always fresh, well seasoned and delicious dishes in this restaurant. My most favorite meal is pita with meat mix. Before your order you will get a warm and delicious homemade bread as a starter which is nice. Pita bread is thin and filled with enough meat and veggies to make you feel full. In addition you will get two kinds of sauce: tomato based and tzatziki. If it is not enough there are other kinds of seasonings on the table for your choice. You can get meat with pita, wrap, home bread or on plate with rice on the side. Good choice and fair pricing. The restaurant also offers variety of desserts. We tried cream caramel and it was fluffy, not too sweet and tasty. Your meal can be complement with authentic soda drinks which is refreshing. And of course I must admit that the service is great.
