They now have weekday lunch bento box for only $14! Very very very good price , and the bento box includes miso soup, soba noodles, rice roll, and choice of vegetable tempura/salmon/chicken! Good portion and taste good
The food is genuinely good! Try their new lunch bento box, it’s only $14 and salmon one is $16 so pretty nice price in town🫶 I recommend the chicken bento, you can get rice onigiri 🍙 , chicken, soba salad and miso soup coming together!! Their matcha tiramisu and matcha ne drink is so delicious as well, must-try, not too sweet, but fresh grassy feeling!
Lunch special here is a great deal! I came with a friend and everything was delicious. Prices start from $14, and each set comes with miso soup, soba, and a rice ball. You can choose from options like fried chicken thigh, salmon, or vegetable tempura. Amazing value for the quality—highly recommend!
LOVE this place! This is my go to for great ramen and Japanese dishes. My boyfriend and I come here all the time and its one of our date night spots. Great food, great staff and amazing ambiance. Definitely come here!
Great lunch special! The bento is only $14 and comes with miso soup. The portion is good and the box includes several sides like soba salad, vegetables, and rice onigiri. Everything tasted fresh and the presentation was nice. A good and affordable lunch spot in Manhattan.
Went here for some lunch and I absolutely loved it, I got a salmon poke bowl and was t expecting anything too crazy but it was really good! It’s super cute and cozy inside too!
Delicious ramen with rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. definitely will visit again.
One of the best ramen spots in New York 🍜. Meijin delivers rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and generous portions every time. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and consistently amazing quality. A must-visit for ramen lovers.
This place is an absolute joy. You can find real handmade food and amazing flavors at an incredible price. The service is exceptional; this is a true 5-star restaurant for those who value good food.
Waiters camped my table of three. Usually I appreciate when a restaurant takes the time to check in on me, but for some reason today, three different waiters came to my table to ask if we were doing okay. These three did it on rotation as well, but only to our table or so it seemed. My friends and I (three girls in total) were coming to celebrate a birthday, and this happened after a long day of classes. As you can imagine, we weren’t the most dressed up. Otherwise, I don’t think we stood out too much, but it felt like we were being extra watched by the servers.

This constant attention and our conversation repeatedly being interrupted by the waiters made the meal slightly unnerving. Hence, the low score on service. Otherwise, they did a good job ensuring our time was nice with constant supply of water. To be honest, if they simply asked how we were doing while refilling the waters, I wouldn’t have minded. But it felt strange having multiple waiters go out of their way to ask us “is everything okay?” every 20 minutes. Imagine being constantly checked up on to the point where I was asking myself, should something not be okay?

Okay onto food review, I got the chicken chashu ramen, my friends got the salmon poké and spicy chicken ramen. Soup was very good! Not too salty, which is something I worry about when ordering ramen. Ramen noodle, mushroom (especially the mushroom), egg, and corn on my ramen bowl hit hard! Unfortunately, the main element, the chicken chashu was disappointing. The chicken was dry, lacked flavor, and felt a little rubbery. Portion size was amazing though.

Last miscellaneous detail service tip was set to 20%, but that might be the norm for upper east side.

Apparently the restaurant is celebrating their 10th year anniversary, so congratulations to them. Overall, nice restaurant but nothing extraordinary.

Dear Selina,

Thank you so much for coming today. Thank you for leaving us a review.

First of all, Happy Birthday to your friend.

So sorry if we made you feel interrupted, but we just want to make sure that you guys were ok while you dine in with us.

Anyway, we are happy to hear an honest review and hope to do better next time.

Have a nice night
Beautiful atmosphere and delicious food! Came across this place and was not disappointed at all! Super good. Everything was a bit more expensive than my go-to place in Kips Bay but 100% worth it. The ramen was so good. Broth tasted amazing. Everything we got was perfect! Calamari, sushi all great.

I was a big fan of the seating area too. The paper cranes on the ceiling were a cool addition! Staff was also very nice. For a Saturday Lunch, there was no wait.
the washu beef ramen was so delicious it tasted like steak soup with noodles! they accommodated us when we went through the bar door. the matcha tiramisu was so soft and fresh. i would like to come back.
The atmosphere is so cute! Service was good. The shredded pork ramen was really tasty and we loved the gyoza and shishito peppers.
Me and my daughter came on a Friday night. The wait was about ten minutes. We were entertained by the paper cranes hanging from the ceiling. The food tasted wonderful! We ordered the seared scallops, soft crab buns & their chicken chasu ramen. The seared scallops were cooked to perfection and the soft crabs were crunchy and seasoned just right. The broth for the ramen was creamy and delicious, and the noodles were cooked well. As for dessert, we had Vanilla crepe cake - it was divine! Excellent finish to our dinner.
