Between 2 AM on 4/26, I went through the drive-through and specifically requested a tote of fresh cookies. I repeated the word “fresh” to ensure there was no misunderstanding. However, I only waited about five minutes before receiving the order, which I found unusual, as in my previous experiences fresh cookies typically take closer to 10–12 minutes.

After receiving the order and driving off, I realized the cookies were not freshly baked, but instead appeared to have been reheated. Given the short wait time and my clear request, this did not come across as a misunderstanding, but rather as an intentional decision to provide what was already available instead of what was requested.

I was fully willing to wait, even in the pouring rain, to receive exactly what I had asked for and paid for. There were no other customers behind me, so volume or timing does not appear to have been a factor.

I did attempt to call the location twice shortly after to address this with the manager who specifically handed the order to me, but my calls went unanswered. If you have caller ID, those calls should reflect within that same timeframe.

While the staff, including the manager, were polite and respectful, I do not understand the urgency behind providing something that was not requested instead of fulfilling the order as specified.

Overall, the experience felt misleading and discouraging. I believe there is a need to reinforce accountability at the management level, along with stronger follow-through with staff, to ensure customers receive exactly what they request.
