We visited Manhatta on a Saturday for my birthday and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is located on the 60th floor of 28 Liberty Street and offers breathtaking views of Lower Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty, Staten Island, and New York Harbor.

Before our table was ready, we waited in the lounge area and enjoyed the incredible views. A thoughtful touch was the personalized birthday note waiting on our table when we arrived, which made the occasion feel extra special.

The atmosphere was elegant but welcoming, and it was interesting to see that many other guests were also celebrating birthdays and special occasions there.

We came for lunch and ordered the two-course lunch menu. To start, we had the “Beef Tartare” and “Fluke Crudo”, followed by the “Grilled Sea Bass”, “Dry-Aged Burger”, and “Lobster Ravioli” for our mains. For dessert, we enjoyed the “Coconut Mousse” and paired the meal with red wine and the “Land of the Sun” cocktail. The restaurant has an excellent selection of red, white, and sparkling wines.

The service was friendly and attentive without ever making us feel rushed.. We took our time, enjoyed the food, the drinks, and the stunning views, making it a memorable birthday celebration.

tl;dr - One of our absolute favorites in the city. The full menu is a triumph.

Manhatta has earned a permanent spot on our list. The views are spectacular, but it's the kitchen that keeps us coming back. Sit at the kitchen counter if you can to see the chefs working their magic all night.

On our second trip the kitchen started us off with a DELICIOUS bite of a mind-blowing tart. It was so good, we told our waiter that it should be a full meal.

The Fluke Crudo is a clean, elegant opener. The Bluefin Tuna and Tempura Fried Octopus both hit. I got both the Homemade Lobster Ravioli and Butter Poached Lobster which were rich and precise and exactly what you want from a kitchen operating at this level. Flavor all through the meal.

My partner got the the Dry Aged Duck which was phenomenal. Super rich, and elegantly done.

And the desserts! Both the Cream Coconut Mousse (with Campfire Caramel and Smoked Cacao Nib Ice Cream) AND the Lemon Verbena Semifreddo, were a perfect close to what is consistently one of the most satisfying tasting menus in Manhattan. This place is special. We mean that.

Beautiful place! You feel transformed into a special place right when you enter the lobby. We went twice in one day, one for pre dinner drink, and after dinner we came back for a nightcap! It was really cool to see the views in daytime with the overcast foggy skies (still stunning) and then the evening dark views. I had a glass of Lassalle champagne and it was amazing. My friend had a dirty martini she loved. The service was also very kind. We almost didn’t make it in for the nightcap but they kindly squeezed us in right before we walked out. So we appreciated that. Overall beautiful place to go! Luxe vibes, stunning views. Can’t wait to go back for a summer sunset. Thank you!

The entire experience was seamless. From checking in downstairs to guiding us to our table and everything in between. I think this is the highest server to patron ratio that I’ve ever seen. Commendable. The portion might be slightly on the smaller side, but the food was very delicious. And the view is simply unbeatable.

Absolutely stunning rooftop experience in New York City. The skyline view was breathtaking, especially during sunset when the city lights started coming alive. The atmosphere felt elegant yet relaxing, perfect for a date night or special occasion.

The food was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the entire evening feel welcoming and memorable.

Sitting above the city with panoramic views of Manhattan created an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for a rooftop restaurant in NYC with amazing food, great service, and incredible views, this place is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommend for both locals and tourists visiting New York City.

Manhatta absolutely blew me away. From the moment we walked in, the service was on another level, thoughtful, seamless and genuinely attentive without ever feeling over the top. You can tell every detail is intentional and it makes the entire experience feel special. The food? Unreal. Every dish was beautifully executed and somehow even better than it looked (which is saying a lot). Flavors were bold, balanced and memorable, I’m still thinking about it. And then there’s the view… sitting high above the city on the 60th floor is already incredible but Manhatta somehow makes it feel even more magical. It’s one of those places where everything just comes together perfectly. Already planning my next visit, I cannot wait to be back!

Found a hidden gem in NYC ✨
60th-floor fine dining with skyline views… and lunch is only $78.

Booked in advance and mentioned it was my dad’s birthday 🎂
They gave us a window table — best seat in the house.

Sitting there, enjoying a 3-course lunch while overlooking Manhattan 🏙️
honestly feels way better than squeezing into a crowded observation deck.

And let’s be real —
NYC observation tickets aren’t cheap 🎫
but here, you get the view + a full fine dining experience for almost the same price.
Such a win.

We were a group of four, so… we basically ordered the whole lunch menu 😂
and surprisingly, almost everything was good. No misses.

.

A few years ago, I went to the Top of the Rock —
way too crowded, not the best experience.

A friend just visited the Empire State Building,
and the wind almost blew her away 💨

So this time, traveling with my parents and kids,
I had a random idea:
skip the observation decks, find a high-rise restaurant instead 🍴

Best decision ever.

.

Also kinda funny —
looking around the restaurant, it was full of people in suits from Wall Street
quietly having lunch…
and then there was us, clearly tourists 😂

but somehow, that made the whole experience even more special.

We had an absolutely incredible experience at Manhatta for my friend’s birthday! From the moment we walked in, the entire staff made her feel so special—everyone went out of their way to congratulate her. We were lucky enough to get a stunning window seat with a breathtaking view of the city. There was even a thoughtful birthday card waiting for us on the table! The food was of the highest quality and the service was flawless. They truly know how to make an occasion feel grand. Highly recommend!

Incredibly charming experience. The staff are incredible and the food portions blow other high-end dining out of the water. Quality is remarkable. Strongly recommend the Counter seating and the Octopus. As others note, beautiful views. All around recommendation.

Great spot for a special occasion or a nice night out. I (very politely) requested a table by a window when I made my reservation and we were seated at an amazing booth for two. Service was lovely. Coat check available before you head up in the elevators. We will be back!

One of a kind dining experience with an amazing view. The true contemporary cuisine represents NYC beautifully. I personally loved the subtle touch of Korean flavors mixed in. The cocktails were amazing too.

10/10 all around. Went here for Valentine’s Day without a reservation and was ok for standing room initially. Within 30 mins they sat us at a small table and the service was excellent. Staff was so friendly and very polite.
The views were breathtaking, such a romantic and intimate restaurant and bar setting and great for conversation.
The cocktails were some of the best I’ve had in the city, truly. And food/cocktail prices were honestly pretty standard/reasonable for NYC fine dining if not less.
Overall really enjoyed my experience here and we’ll definitely be back again soon :)

Absolutely incredible experience at Manhatta! It’s rare to find a spot where the food actually rivals the view, but this place nails it. Being 60 floors up with a 360-degree look at the city is breathtaking, especially as the sun goes down.

The meal was standout from start to finish. I highly recommend the ribeye and the honey toast with Asian sweet potato dessert was unbelievable. There was flavors on top of flavors in every plate.

The service was unbelievable and they have it down to a science. If you're looking for a "wow" spot in New York for a great meal, this is definitely it. Can’t wait to come back!

Nice restaurant with view from 60 floor. Best to have window seat tho. You can expect about $200 pp. There is coat checkin on ground floor before going up. Staff are service were attentive and friendly. Food was salty and the sweets too sweet for my taste. This was during their taste menu as of jan 2026

This location elevates your dinning experience to 60 story heights and levels. My family and I did the 4 course meal with cocktails. The drinks were excellent. The dishes were all very good to great. The raw shrimp, tuna, lobster and steak were my favorites. Get ready to drop $1k for family dinner, so make sure this is something everybody will enjoy.
