My husband and I enjoyed an amazing meal (Guacamole/chips, chicken tacos, and the mamasita Pollo a la parilla). The strawberry margaritas was delicious! We will definitely come back!

I stopped into this restaurant to get some food. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted and served by Victoria. I ordered:

Spicy Margarita
Amor Latino Spiked Coffee
Seafood Vegetable Soup
Grilled Chicken Burrito
Rib Eye Steak Fajitas
Mamasita Pollo a La Parilla

The food was tasty but the fajitas were my favorite! All in all a good experience!

We accidentally found Mamasita while out doing some other errands, and what a great find it turned out to be! The food was so good, the service was amazing, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The owner also really pays attention to the guests, which made the experience even nicer. We had the chicken enchiladas and they were truly delicious and they also have tons of vegetarian and vegan options. Definitely recommend!

This place was so chaotic when we went albeit it was cinco de mayo but still. It was so loud inside I had to yell to speak to the person I was sitting with. Also the staff completely moved our table halfway through the meal because I presume they forgot about a reservation? The drinks were insane though I don’t know what they put in those because I was stumbling out of there after only a couple rounds. Food was 10/10 tho (spicy enchiladas) and the chaos added to the vibe.

Really the best Mexican place near Broadway! With every bite it was clear that the dishes were made to order with freshest of ingredi! Amazing flavourful food, plenty of options and vegetarian and vegan friendly. Well priced, quick service! Excellent choice. Absolutely no regrets other than the fact that we didn’t have time to try this place twice!

The sauces and bases are made without lard or animal fat; Soups are well labeled and described; Rice is not boiled in chicken stock etc. so unlike other places you don’t need to check each dish to make sure there is no animal products!

Firstly, food was pretty good…but does not offset everything else. I got a small portion of fajitas that were 23 dollars. My (POORLY BREWED) iced tea that tasted like dirty water was 5 dollars with NO free refill. We got guac for 2 and it was the TINIEST hard shell with about 4 TBSP of guac for 14 dollars. The SMALLEST side of sour cream was 5 DOLLARS!!! The up charge on getting guac and sour cream was 6 total, so naturally I got that instead which is INSANE. It was slow, one other customer with 3 servers in house and we were there for an hour and a half. Lastly, the don’t tell you, but automatically add a 20% tip charge and 3% charge for using a debit card. Personally 2 people with a shared app and each with a meal and a drink came out to 108 dollars total and for me I would NEVER come back to a place with prices like this. This is not an upscale restaurant in the slightest. I can see the kitchen and there’s racks of towels and the owners desk in the back. For these reasons I would rather go some where with a better atmosphere and better food even if they’re the same portion for the price I paid.

Such a delicious and welcoming restaurant!! Bina (owner) and Caitlyn (waitress) were so attentive and had the best food and drink recommendations - the mango passionfruit margarita and garlic shrimp platter were AMAZING! My friend and I had such a fun night here and they were so nice to let us finish our food and drinks a little past close without rushing us - truly amazing service!! The restaurant is also decorated very cute and the themed drinks for Valentines were so amazing!! So delicious and all very reasonable price! Highly recommend if you’re in the area :))

This drink was the bomb - Mango Margarita. We ordered two. The 4 meat fajita was also slamming (good). My friend loved the fajita. I wasn't in the mood to eat mexican tonight with my friends but after coming here I was good. Atmospher, music, service (friendly), anf food was awesome. One issue is the place could be bigger, but wasn't crowded tonight. THANK YOU!!!

Had a great experience at this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful with menu recommendations. The cheese dip was very good and quite different than any I've had before. I shared the enchilada combo and it was good, though the rice and beans were pretty bland. Another weird thing is they automatically include a 20% tip to your bill and then prompt you to tip even more.

Drinks are very expensive: priced like a cocktail bar. Michelada for $15. $18 ‘top shelf charge’ on top of what you pay for a margarita. While the ambiance feels very ordinary

Also, they add gratuity to the bill amount in a sneaky way (20 % even if you order just drinks). So be sure to not tip again, unless you really want to

And add another random 3% tax in sneaky way (which seems like a credit card charge, but it was never mentioned )

I paid $92 for 4 drinks even though I visited during ‘happy hour’

Response from the owner

Thanks for your review and business. The menu is wide open with prices. Gratuity is for staff members and they share. 3%is a credit card processing fees. All these policies and procedures are standard at any given restaurant in New York so please thanks for coming my friend

They have 25+ margarita flavors and I’ve tried 4 on the rocks or frozen and they’re all delicious! Dinika was amazing explaining each margarita and has great food recommendations! I definitely will be returning with friends. Happy hour is from midday to late night. $10 margaritas $1 additional for flavors.

I came here after work for happy hour drinks with my girlfriends. The vibes were amazing and the prices were right. Dinika provided such great and knowledgeable service, and had such good recommendations for drinks and food. PK was so welcoming and fun! They had such fun season cocktails. We will definitely be back!!
