Meant to right this awhile back ago. I had my baby shower here in January. The staff were super great and accommodating. The manager Victor was AMAZING and so helpful. Everyone had a great time and the food was amazing. Would recommend 10/10.

I celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday here and everything was amazing. It was a surprise and our host Anthony was so attentive and took care of everything. He and the staff were pleasant and welcoming. The customized prefix menu I requested was done perfectly. I recommend you have your next event here.
Food was great, service was good. But I got charged $29.00 dollars auto gratuity for two people having late night dinner and drinks only because their policy if your bill is over $100 , its automatic gratuity.
1st time here to celebrate a friend's birthday. When we arrived, they were just starting to decorate for Christmas. The atmosphere was great and the music was good. However, at times, it was hard to hear. The staff were friendly, accommodating and made us feel welcome.
The food was fantastic but all the appetizers filled me so I took my steak dinner home. I had 3 drinks with the lychee martini my fav and the coconut mojito my least favorite. We wanted Pina Colada, but it wasn't frozen 😔. Hopefully next time, it will be.
Anthony, our sever did well with the 10 of us. I will definitely go again. It was a fun night.
Great food and buzzy Latino vibe. Expect (loud even outside!) music, as the fun well-dressed crowd passes by their patio cafe. Love their appetizers, especially the plantains stuffed with crab and the croquettes. The paella, salmon stuffed with crab, and lechon are always good.. And the sangria and mojitos, a winner.
Came here with my girlfriend on a Sunday afternoon. The brunch buffet and unlimited selection of certain cocktails for 2 hours was amazing. The service kept coming with the drinks and the food was amazing. Drinks were very delicious and strong. Highly recommend for brunch.
Came for lunch with my daughter and ordered the Puerquito. One service was enough for both and it was delicious. The “Cuerito” was crispy and right on point. We also ordered the Mojito de Coco and the Sangría Mamajuana. Very delicious! The service was decent and polite. Totally recommend if you’re in the area. The restaurant is very nice.

Thank you for your visit! Looking forward to seeing you again soon.
Came here for happy hr since Papasito was closed for renovations. I’m glad I did come here, I had a great experience. I was worried the mofongo wouldn’t taste authentic because it was so beautifully presented, but I was wrong. It was delicious as was the happy hr drink I had, I forgot the name but it’s Jack Daniels and fruit punch. The hookah was the best I’ve had in a very long time (40 cash). The server I had was great. I’ll be back soon 😊.

Thank you for your Visit !! Hope to see you again Soon!!
I have been to a few of the other locations, so I was looking forward to this visit. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted by Leaha, and she was great. I sat and started with the limitless brunch, and the food on the buffet was good, and the sangria was ok. I was served by Yuri and Anthony, and they were great. I ordered the octopus for appetizers, and it was delicious! I then had the stuffed red snapper, and it was good but a little sweet! Lastly, I had the brownie dessert, and that was delicious! All in all I had a good experience!
This was a great place to eat and chill. My girls took me here to celebrate my birthday. It turned out to be a beautiful day, so we ate outside. Our food was delicious and the service was great. There was some kind of event/concert going on that day, so the street was closed off, and we got to enjoy the music while we watched people go by. I will definitely go back. I recommend it!
Visited on a Sunday. We did the All You Can Eat buffet for $39. It included the unlimited drinks. Great vibe, and music. The music wasn’t too loud where we couldn’t hear each other and the food was good. Drinks were strong, no complaints. Our waiter was great! And there’s hookah available too. Just remember to bring cash if you don’t want to use the ATM.

There was a few people celebrating their birthdays and Mamajuana certainly helps with the celebration. It was nice to see. Def recommend.
If you're a fan of authentic Latin American cuisine and killer cocktails, Mamajuana Cafe in the heart of Dyckman is a must-visit spot. This unassuming restaurant packs a punch with its flavorful dishes, and their signature chicken and rice is nothing short of a masterpiece.

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with vibrant colors, friendly staff, and the unmistakable aromas of spices and slow-cooked meats. But the star of the show here is undoubtedly the chicken and rice.

This is not your average chicken and rice. It's tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, and pairs perfectly with the fluffy rice and flavorful beans. It's a comfort food classic that's been elevated to new heights, and it's no wonder that locals and visitors alike rave about it.

But it's not just the food that makes Mamajuana Cafe special. Their cocktails are expertly crafted, with a focus on fresh ingredients and unique flavor combinations. From their signature Mamajuana cocktail to the refreshing mojitos, each drink is a work of art in its own right.

And if you're in the mood for something sweet, don't miss their homemade flan. It's creamy, decadent, and the perfect way to end a satisfying meal.

But what really sets Mamajuana Cafe apart is the sense of community that you feel when you're here. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the vibe is truly authentic. It's not just a restaurant, it's a gathering place for friends and families to enjoy delicious food and good company.

So if you're looking for a taste of Latin America in the heart of NYC, head to Mamajuana Cafe. You won't be disappointed.
Outdoor and indoor seating avaliable - very spacious. Our hostess/server Donna was attentive and answered all of our questions. Very relaxed setting for a Saturday afternoon. Good for all party sizes including families, dates or small groups. Passion Fruit Mojito pitcher was full of tropical flavor and enough for 4 drinks. Ordered a Henny Colada and it was really good but pricey. Food was flavorful. I recommend the Chicarrones, Rabo or Paella. There's hookah available but didn't get to order it this visit.
The food was presented beautifully and it tasted absolutely fantastic. I’ve never tasted anything like this before and I would definitely come again. Everything was cooked to perfection!! The service we had was splendid and we were waited on by Francina and she made the experience incredible. She was extremely kind and I have absolutely no complaints!! Great job Mamajuana Café, I would definitely recommend everything here!!!❤️❤️
Let's just say my experience at The infamous Mamajuana was interesting. We got seated and while my party chatted waiting for our drinks and appetizers it started to rain so we had to run to the covered area of the restaurant. Yes, seating is outdoors and no umbrellas 😡. Ok with the outdoors part but damn you can't invest on umbrellas, smh. Nonetheless, while we waited for the rain to stop; the manager was talking about shutting down while we wanted our food to go. At first she didn't want to take our order because she said she had to close the cover we were under. Mind you it wasn't just my party under it. It was good 10 patrons that were under it as well whom were there before us waiting on their food. So we decided to wait it out because first of all parking is a true luxury by Mamajuana and if you're not lucky to find one on the street be prepared to pay for one at a garage.
Once, the rain passed and sun was peaking out the clouds the waitors wiped down the tables and chairs. We sat and finally placed our order for drinks and food. We had a paella, snapper stuffed with seafood and tres leches cake for dessert. The food was amazingly delicious the portion is actually for 2 people, as you can imagine the amount that we took home for that second serving, 😆 🤣. Bon appetit Mamajuana patrons!

We apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused due to the rain but we are just as confused as you are with these new NYC guidelines, according to them we can not operate during inclement weather and umbrellas or any type of covers are not permitted to be used during inclement weather (makes no sense to us either but let’s thank our great mayor for these rules). We are glad you waited it out and joined us for dinner and that you enjoyed your food. Hope to see you again soon!
