I really cannot stress how good the pull apart bread was. Well worth the trip. We got the honey butter version, and it really knocked our socks off. Also got the deviled eggs, which we enjoyed. The actual main courses we got were fine. I’m not a big fan of French dip sandwiches in general, and this one didn’t change my mind. My partner got the burger - and she was a little underwhelmed by it as well.

Have been to Maison Pickle about 3 times now! Food is always good and it is a good casual place to go for lunch or dinner. Reservations are reccommended, but not hard to secure. Best french dip I’ve had, definitely a must try!!! Amazing chicken waffle and pull apart bread as well.
Food was incredible and the portions were super generous. We ordered the honey butter pull-apart bread and it was absolutely unreal. The chicken Caesar and tiramisu French toast were both amazing too, definitely shareable (huge!) portions. More than anything though, the service stood out. Kailey was so kind, attentive, and made the whole experience even better! We will be back!!
Came to this place for brunch, because I had heard marvelous things about their layered chocolate cake.
Everything we had was big in size, so we shared a ceasar salad and a french dip sandwich with fries and of course the chocolate cake. Everything was impressive and great and huge!! we have to come back and try everything else!! including the bread, which looked and smelled delicious.
Went to Maison Pickle on a Saturday for brunch. We had reservations but arrived a few minutes early and were seated immediately. It wasn’t busy at 10 AM, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Our server was wonderful and suggested a few dishes for us to try. We ordered the berries and cream French toast, fried chicken and toast, steak and eggs, and the honey butter pull-apart bread.

Service and atmosphere were definitely 4.5 stars. The food was more in the 3.5–4 star range. The steak was very well seasoned, and so were the potatoes that came with it. The pull-apart bread was good, but not quite as amazing as I expected. The toast—okay. Portions are huge — there were three of us and we still couldn’t finish everything.

Despite being full, we ordered the famous 24-layer chocolate cake. The frosting was delicious, but the cake itself was just okay. The alcoholic beverages, however, were very good.

Overall, I’d give Maison Pickle 4 stars. The food didn’t completely wow me, but I still think it’s absolutely worth a visit. I’d love to go back and try their lunch or dinner menu, and I would definitely recommend others give it a try.
Nice spot with good quality classic dishes. Went with a friend and had a wonderful time. Venue is quite large and food is really good but service was amazing (they do wine Wednesday I think it was half off wine). Overall had a couple dishes- salad, spinach dip, French roast, chicken parm, and chocolate cake. Portions were so so big- ended up taking much of it home but so good. Again solid staple and recommend
We came there hungry after BookCon 2026 and left happy. The food is not only delicious, they give you large portions! I went with my close family and we loved it there. The service was great. They would check on us frequently and keep our glasses full. In addition, the waitress Sasha R., was super friendly and helped us pick out items when some of us were uncertain. I'm happy I listened to her recommendation for the French Onion soup and the Patty Melt Burger. I am still dreaming about that Oreo ice box cake I had, it was so good. We are definitely going back there the next time we are in the area. I highly recommend this place.
This restaurant came highly recommended by social media and it lived up to the hype. There was a 30 minute wait for a table, so we sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The bread was similar to Monkey bread but had kt own delicious and unique taste. I had the steak frites and the portion size was perfect 👌. The facilities were well maintained and clean.
Ive been looking forward to eating at Maison Pickle for years now. It was my birthday so I finally got the chance to. My server was Tabitha and she was super sweet and answered my questions regarding the food. I was going to order a mac & cheese but it looked small so I settled for the Fried chicken bacon and toast. I wanted something to get me full but something I could also bring home leftovers with. My Sacha drink was SUPER tangy. I had to drink some water with it! Haha, I would definitely order it again though. Loved the food. I will say, the tables are super close together. Not my favorite type of restaurant seating but I’m not one to put up a fit about where a server sat me to eat.
Excellent brunch spot with generous portions!
The Pull Apart Bread is definitely a crowd-pleaser and a must-order. However, my personal favorite was the Fried Chicken & Toast—it was incredibly flavorful. The dishes are quite large, so they are perfect for sharing; it might be a bit too much for one person. The service was also top-notch. Highly recommend for a group brunch!
So far, this has been one of my favorite restaurants in my neighborhood. The food is incredibly delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly. However, the wait for a table was insane—about an hour (we didn’t reserve a table, it was a walk in). But we managed to find a seat available at the bar, which was perfect. The bartender was very nice and made us a delicious drink. The pull-apart bread is divine. We got the garlic and Parmesan, and it was absolutely amazing. And the Cheesesteak sandwich and the huge chocolate cake slice were simply incredible. I was speechless.
First off, the food was very much something I’d have as a last meal, like if I could pick where I’d want to go for my last last this place is definitely in my top 5. I left satisfied and stuffed. Second, our waitress was named Karen, and she was the nicest lady I’ve ever met there, so polite and recommended us certain things that were just amazing, it was great service all around. And last, the atmosphere was great, they had great 90’s music playing, some really throwback hit songs that made us wanna sing along, but we were also chatting away, it was just lovely.
Agh I really wanted to like this place but I just didn’t… don’t get me wrong the vibe is so so cute but the food was subpar at best.

As a negative start, we got the crispy calamari which tasted like it was 3 hrs old and the Caesar salad which was basic at best. I’m begging you, do not get the calamari, it was truly disappointing. Our saving grace however was the crab, spinach, and artichoke dip which was tasty but not special and the French onion soup… now that was actually delicious, making it the only appetizer I would get again (if I were to go back which I probably won’t).

For our mains, we were all pleased…except for one of us. The eggplant and chicken parm was watery and flavorless but the braised short rib, filet mignon, and French onion steak melt were actually pretty tasty… so maybe this should be called Maison red meat? Have to give a special shout out to the mashed potatoes that came with the short ribs, those were so soft and creamy (especially with the beef au jus).

I was forced to get dessert with the restaurant week menu so you’re welcome for this rare review. The key lime pie was fine, it tasted like every other key lime pie I’ve had and the Oreo icebox was nothing special, just a big ol’ Oreo in cake form.

To drink, I’d recommend the mulled wine (but note, it was on the sweeter side… like me and this review!
Amazing Food and Outstanding Service – Highly Recommended

We visited as a party of two without a reservation and were seated immediately. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us warmly with eye contact and smiles. Even during busy moments, they continued to smile and acknowledge us whenever our eyes met, which made us feel very welcome and comfortable.

We ordered the steak & eggs and the chicken toast, and the food arrived quickly while we were chatting. The sweet and savory combination of the chicken toast was absolutely delicious, and the steak and eggs were cooked perfectly. It was a truly satisfying and enjoyable meal.

We paid in cash and weren’t able to leave a large tip, but the staff never made us feel uncomfortable or awkward about it. Every employee was incredibly kind and attentive, and we genuinely felt well taken care of. Even though we arrived without a reservation, the place filled up very quickly, which clearly showed how popular this restaurant is.

An excellent restaurant in every way—food, service, and atmosphere. Highly recommended!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The food is to die for! We got two french dips, the classic macaroni and cheese, and the chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was amazing and it was great leftovers for the next day! The mac and cheese makes a good appetizer to split. The french dips are huge and very filling! Despite the business, service was quick, the person waiting the table was on top of it, and the food came out very hot. The best restaurant in NYC in my opinion!!
