Incredible food and drinks! Definitely try the grilled fish with lime cilantro broth. A gorgeous fresh whole branzino that was cooked perfectly, and the broth it was in was divine. We’re not used to eating whole fish, but the waiter came by and saw us struggling and filleted it for us! Nice place for dinner before a show

We didn't have a reservation but luckily it wasn't too busy so they were able to sit us down. The food was delicious! The restaurant itself is really small and tight once crowded. The service was amazing!
Fun cozy spot. Had their papaya salad, beef tartare, pad see ew, crying tiger and their taro mochi ice cream & mango sr - all delish! Recommend if you're feeling thai!
This restaurant experience was wonderful!! We came here to celebrate my dad’s birthday. Bella A. was our server, and she was so kind and friendly. She has such a fun spirit, and great taste in music! Thank you, Bella! Will be back soon :)
We went at lunch time and no problem getting a table. Service was fast and friendly. The food is SO GOOD. We got the fried tofu appetizer and the Pad Ki Mao. Both were excellent but the Pad Ki Mao was the true star- herbaceous and just the right amount of spice. The cocktails were also delicious and had gorgeous garnishes. Try the Thai iced tea, you won’t regret it!
I had the Crying Tiger (ribeye and seasoned egg yolk over a bed of garlic fried rice) and it was excellent. The steak was cooked nicely (medium-medium rare) and the garlic was plentiful and crispy.

The atmosphere inside the restaurant is cozy but not cramped. The warm lighting is relaxing and easy on the eyes.

This is a short walk from the Theatre District, and a great place to grab a pre/post show meal.
The food is amazing, the environment is perfect! I LOVE their crying tiger and the Gang Fak Tong which is the fried soft shell crab with pumpkin curry (a little spicy). However, their pad Thai is too sweet for me. I will definitely comeback. I recommend to do reservation for dinner time.
Had high expectations due to the crowd and ratings, but the experience didn’t quite meet them.
Portions were smaller than expected, and the soup and beef were a bit too salty.
Some flavors were strong and enjoyable, but a few details were disappointing - shrimp wasn’t deveined, not cleaned properly as you can see and the mango was extremely sour, which affected the overall experience.
Not a bad meal, but probably not somewhere I’d go out of my way to revisit
Absolutely delicious Thai food. Loved the pad kee mao and the Phuket night cocktail. As a vegetarian, there are limited options but all the ones they have are delicious! Service is so sweet and the place is absolutely gorgeous. I loved the window seat while enjoying the meal. Truly a wonderful experience and would recommend for authentic and flavorful Thai food.
I always bring friends who are visiting NYC to this place. It’s a wonderful spot for Thai food in the city. I’ve been here several times, and it always exceeds my expectations. My go to dish is the steamed branzino with lime and herbs. The Crying Tiger, their signature steak over rice, is also excellent. (I didn’t have it this time- not included in photo) Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Thai food in the city!
Excellent spot for tangy and flavor-packed Thai food. I recommend getting the chive pancake by a lot. The texture is very nice, glutinous but not too heavy. I also recommend the tiger shrimp which was cooked perfectly from head to toe as a light cook, accompanied by a ridiculously excellent spicy green sauce.

The steamed fish had great texture, meaty and moist without being dry, and the sauce would go well with rice on its own. The sauce is very tangy and thus works well with the fish's flesh. I would order this again for two people.

The crying tiger had a great rice but the steak was just normal. I was thinking about why I think the steak is normal and I realize that in most of these preparations you get flecks of salt that bring out the meatiness. Also in those preparations the meat is piping hot. Here the meat is a normal cut but could be better with a bit more technique.

The space looks like a classic Thai place with the bamboo seats and wooden accents. For being "near" Times Square, it's an excellent find. One note: the mains are now $40+. Welcome to 2025 inflation.
LumLum was awesome. The food came out in like 10 minutes max. The server was friendly and made some excellent recommendations. The Khao Soi was phenomenal, the meat fell off the bone and the broth was so flavorful. Chicken wings were perfectly crispy and tender. I’d definitely recommend this place
One star just for the Thai iced tea. We ordered the crying tiger and the pork fried rice, and both were disappointing. The pork was deep-fried and simply piled on top of the rice; so crunchy it honestly felt like it could break your teeth. The fried rice itself was very average.
For the steak, they didn’t ask how we wanted it cooked, and it seems like they only do it one way. It was also pretty bland, even with the sweet sauce. It came with rice topped with huge slices of garlic. If you don’t like eating whole garlic slices, this dish isn’t for you. There was also an egg yolk on the side (not sure what it was meant to add).
The place is also quite small, so it can feel a bit cramped.
First time here (on a solo adventure) and I will gladly come back! I had two servers recommend the Penang Nue for my first time, and it did not disappoint. The meat was cooked perfectly, the curry was so flavorful and the right amount of spice for me…Just a little sniffle lol…Even the plain rice was tasty. I had a seasonal cocktail, the green curry, that was pretty bland especially for $18…so I can’t speak on the cocktails being great. The mango sticky rice was out of season so I tried the taro mochi coconut dessert instead and loved it! I would definitely give this spot a try if you haven’t!
I had a good experience at Lum Lum! The food was delicious — the dumplings were super tasty, and the Pad Thai was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a great vibe.

The only thing is that the tables are quite close to each other, so it’s not the best spot for a quiet or intimate dinner. But overall, the atmosphere is really nice, and the food makes it totally worth it. I’d definitely go back!
