Great place, great food, great service! Really good steak tartare. Authentic taste, wine bottles are half priced at lunch.

Visited during a Birthday. Second visit . First was lunch when it was quiet then dinner, far louder. Even though our seat was right inside the entrance as the evening were on, music was louder. Like most NYC restaurants. Named after owner's dog, it's a fun place. Michale was our server and he was very good. My son had the Macallan Bay (very expensive) and us the Chardonnay. We had lamb chops, seared bass, Loulou burger and duck leg confit. The food was very good and served on time. Would visit again but at lunch. Packed

LouLou was a fantastic NYC dining experience. The atmosphere was lively and stylish, the Cain in the Woods cocktail was outstanding, and every dish impressed — especially the margarita flatbread, perfectly cooked sea bass, tender short ribs, and delicious salted caramel dessert. A special thank you to Everton G., who provided warm, attentive service and made the evening even more memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

I was drawn in by the looks and thrilled by the offering. The fun looking cocktails were equally delicious. We chose the two suggestions of our waiter: the lamb chops and the mussels. The mussels were great but the lamb chops were spectacular!! Would definitely recommend!

Food was good, but we were probably expecting a bit more: potatoes were not salty enough and the hamburger was not medium rare as requested.
Also the choice of music in the restaurant didn’t encounter our taste, unfortunately we found it loud and chaotic. We waited quite a while to be served, while after our meal we were rushed to pay and go.

We had an amazing time at Lulu nyc! We took our dog there for his 12th birthday. He ordered a steak and eggs off the dog menu. Our human food was also amazing! I got the sea bass and the beet salad. Cheese plate was also great. Highly recommend this place. Service was excellent as well! Very attentive.

Nothing was super outstanding, but everything was pretty good overall. The French toast was made with croissants, which was unique — though it felt a bit heavy. The vibe was lovely, and most importantly, it’s dog-friendly.

It was hopping! The burrata served with pine nuts, watercress, and homemade foccacia was divine! A little bit noisy! Young crowd. Great place to eat before the show at the Joyce!

Loulou is a charming bistro & bar that makes for a delightful brunch spot. We visited for Valentine’s brunch and overall had a lovely experience. Our server was warm, candid, and genuinely helpful in guiding us through the menu — always a great start.

The cocktails deserve a special mention. The Remy, Bloody Affair, and Daily Green were bold, punchy, and beautifully balanced — easily the highlight of the meal.

On the food front, it was a bit of a mixed bag. The French onion soup was hearty and comforting, though the onions and cheese leaned slightly too far into a charred, almost burnt flavor that didn’t quite hit the mark. The croissant French toast was indulgent and crowd-pleasing, but more bready and pancake-like than flaky, with a similar hint of char. Thankfully, the toppings and fresh fruit rounded it out nicely.

The Yellowfin tuna sandwich felt fresh and wholesome, though the bread ran a touch dry — you’ll want a sip of your cocktail with every bite (which, to be fair, isn’t the worst problem to have).

Overall, Loulou shows plenty of promise. There’s some fine-tuning to be done, but it’s definitely worth a visit — and we’ll be back to explore the lunch, dinner, and live entertainment next time.

Although we hadn't made a reservation, they were very friendly from the moment we arrived and immediately assigned us a table. We ordered cocktails and beer. The onion soup was very good, as was the lamb. We were served by a very friendly and attentive mexican waiter (from Jalisco), who recommended the main courses to us and did not disappoint. It was a very pleasant surprise. I recommend it.

Really enjoyed this spot. The wild mushroom flatbread is rich, flavorful, and not too heavy. The steak sandwich was delicious too. Service was warm and easygoing, which made the whole experience even better. A place I visit often.

LouLou in Chelsea is one of those places that reminds you why dining out should feel special. From the moment you walk in, there’s an effortless warmth — stylish without being pretentious, lively without being overwhelming. The food? Truly terrific. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor in a way that makes you want to slow down and enjoy every bite.

But what really sets LouLou apart is the hospitality. The entire staff was attentive, genuine, and welcoming — the kind of service that feels natural, not forced. And then there’s Angel, who quite literally put the cherry on top of an already fantastic experience. Angel’s attention to detail, kindness, and intuitive sense of when to step in (and when to let the moment breathe) elevated the night from great to unforgettable. That level of care is rare, and it matters.

LouLou isn’t just a meal — it’s an experience done right. Exceptional food, a strong team, and standout hospitality that makes you want to come back again and again. If you’re in Chelsea and looking for a place that delivers on every level, this is it. 🍒

Nice spot for lunch. Food was fresh, healthy and delicious. Staff friendly, but not super fast to take orders. Recommend if you have plenty of time to chat with friends, hang out and want a slower paced European vibe, which we did. Went for weekday lunch so not crowded which was great. Seems like a good outdoor weekend brunch option too.
